Soon enough, Xin Mei got the answer to her question when Su Lingtian climbed on the stage and made an announcement:

"Good Evening Everyone, I Su Lingtian thank you all for showing your presence at my boy's birthday. My boy Su Yuchen has turned twenty-seven, and I still can't believe that at a mere age of twenty-seven, he has earned so many things, so much name, and fame."

"Truthfully, I was very nervous when I had given my business to him. I thought he would not be able to handle such a big business at a tender age of eighteen but he, he had always proved me wrong. I am so proud of you my boy, my champ."

Su Lingtian looked down at Su Yuchen and smiled with pride. Su Yuchen also smiled and nodded his head.

"He has everything, except for only a partner is missing beside his side." Su Lingtian smirked on his announcement where Su Yuchen shook his head. Su Yuchen could imagine what his grandparents had planned. They were planning something which would bring Su Yuchen together with Xin Mei for the night, without anyone doubting on them.

"So, my lovely wife and I have decided something. Why do not we find a girl from you all, to become the partner of my Chen for the night?" He smirked and then called one of his men. The man climbed up on the stage with a big bowl in his hand.

"This bowl has some chits and on each chit is written the name of beautiful girls present here tonight. Su Yuchen will climb up onto the stage and will select a chit from the bowl. The lucky girl, whose name was written on the chit will be spending her time at the party with Su Yuchen."

Every single girl squealed with delight and joy when they heard Su Lingtian. They walked closer to the stage where Su Lingtian was standing with the bowl in his hand. They all looked at the bowl with antic.i.p.ation and then they threw a smirk in the direction of Su Yuchen.

Xin Mei shook her head at the old and verified idea of Su Lingtian and Bai Yue. She then looked at the harmonic girls who were eager to become the partner of Su Yuchen.

"I am d.a.m.n sure, all the chits have your name written on them." Su Zixin whispered in her ears.

"I know that." She replied and looked at Su Yuchen.

Su Yuchen acted shy and boyish. He also mocking scolded his grandparents who wanted to find a partner for him where he was happy as being single. 

"Stop saying no. If you love your grandparents then you are pulling a chit out from this bowl." Bai Yue blackmailed.

Young girls and their parents noticed how Su Yuchen was forced to do whatever Bai Yue and Su Lingtian asked him to do. At that moment, they realized that the key to becoming the wife of Su Yuchen were elder Su couple.

"Let me see who the lucky girl is." Bai Yue dramatically pulled the chat from the hand of Su Yuchen. She acted surprised and in shock when she saw the name of Xin Mei.

Xin Mei who looked at the expressions on the face of Bai Yue shook her head. This old lady was great with her acting skills.

"Chen'er, why are you standing here like this. Go and ask this girl to be your partner. Let me see how my boy reacts in the presence of a girl."

"Ok, grandma." 

Su Yuchen acted shy and climbed down the stage. He spared a smile in the direction of girls, rising their heartbeats. With a single smile, many girls could see themselves falling for Su Yuchen.

They looked at Su Yuchen, expecting to become his partner for the night.

Su Yuchen, knowingly walked in slow steps, enjoying the way girls were eying him. He enjoyed the way Xin Mei was unconsciously glaring at the girls who were eying him. He smiled noticing that she was getting jealous that some other girls were eying what was hers.

"Miss Xin, can I have you as my partner for the night?" he placed his hand in front of her.

A gasp filled in the garden when everyone heard Su Yuchen. They were forced to think that it was fate which always brought Su Yuchen together with Xin Mei.

It was not a hidden fact from them that Xin Mei and Su Yuchen were quite close to one another. Many guests had already seen the news about Su Yuchen and Xin Mei which filled the newspapers and social media platforms from time to time.

So, they must say that it was fate which brought Xin Mei and Su Yuchen together. Otherwise, why was it that the chit selected by Su Yuchen had the name of Xin Mei!

Unaware of what was running in the minds of everyone, Xin Mei and Su Yuchen were enjoying their time in the arms of one another. Xin Mei was glad about the idea of Bai Yue. She got to spend the birthday of her Chen, in his arms.

Xin Mei smiled and nodded to Su Yuchen who pulled her on the dance floor.
