As he drew his head back again, his gaze softened as he was utterly grateful for her appearance tonight.

"I am disappointed that you have that little faith in me…and to us." Although she was a little disappointed, Lexi's bottomless love towards him triumphed at the moment. Granted that they only shared a few months of togetherness, alas, Lexi experienced almost everything with him.
