Xia Xingcheng gasped and pushed him hard. This time he got pushed away easily.

Meanwhile, a smas.h.i.+ng sound from the room next door interrupted Sheng Yeting’s thought.

He always liked quietness while hating noisiness. But the noise coming from next door was not going to stop. There was this continuous smas.h.i.+ng sound.

Sheng Yeting squinted in displeasure. He gave orders to his bodyguards, “Go take a look at what is happening there.”

“Yes.”

The bodyguards took order and left quickly.

The bodyguards walked to the room next door and knocked on the door hard.

In a moment, the door was open with a little gap. Someone stuck his head out and looked at the bodyguards and asked, “What?”

Meanwhile, the smas.h.i.+ng sound started again.

A bodyguard frowned and said strictly, “What is happening there? Can you be quiet? You are disturbing the people next door.”

“There is a kid making the noise.”

Sheng Yeting looked at the person behind the door and asked, “Who's in there?”

The person behind the door was surprised by the kick and stepped back a little. Seeing this, the other person in the room rushed to the door quickly.

“What do you want?” The person shouted angrily after realizing the situation was off.

Sheng Yeting didn't even look at them. He just walked straight in and glanced at the room with harsh gaze.

Everything in the room was smashed, a mess all over the place.

Sheng Yeting raised his eyebrow and thought, “What kind of kid has made this mess?”

In a second, he saw a small kid standing on the sofa.

Some doubt and hesitancy flas.h.i.+ng in his eyes, Sheng Yeting subconsciously wanted to turn around and leave.

But after seeing him, the kid's eyes lit up. He called him with surprise and pleasure, “Daddy!”

Hearing “daddy”, Sheng Yeting knew he couldn't run away from this.

Bao jumped off the sofa and rushed to him. He hugged his thigh and held up his cute little face with eyes sparkling, “Daddy, you come to rescue me. Right?”
