It's Payback Time : Dont Mess With Me Chapter 224 - Today's Date?…Twelfth September?

Kim ting who was standing not too far away from Kim tan was holding a gla.s.s of wine as he looked proudly at his sister in law who was about to sing another beautiful song to mesmerize the crowd but suddenly he blanked out when he heard the lyrics of the song. Spitting out the wine which he had just sipped in, he coughed a few times before cursing 'F.u.c.k' turning towards his brother and then his Sister in law, he was shocked.

On the other hand, when Kim tan and Suzy met each other's eyes, Both of them were startled…

'That dark black glittering eyes….' Kim tan thought.

When Suzy was asked to sing a song again, none of the songs that she knew came to her mind except this one which was called 'The dream'. Forgetting Kim tan's existence, Suzy started to sing the song while reminiscing her past beautiful life with her mom and Kim tan. Engulfed deeply by the song, Suzy was unaware of the internal and external turmoil that Kim tan was facing alone.

But at the end of the song, when her eyes absentmindedly landed on Kim tan during the song, she was startled and her heart started to race. Only then did she remember that Kim tan was present among the crowd.

Bowing to the crowd hurriedly, she swiftly escaped from the backstage before Kim tan could catch her.

Dumbfounded by her sudden disappearance, Kim tan looked around but did not find any traces of her. Just when he was about to leave the banquet, Xiya Ruya appeared out of nowhere while flaunting her charm and s.e.xiness. Kim tan displeased when he was suddenly stopped by ugly looking women. Without looking at her, Kim tan moved to the side to walk away but was once again blocked by this ugly looking women. D

Seeing his cold look, Xiya Ruya s.h.i.+vered but she still smiled and walked a step forward and bowed to him politely while showing off her cleavage "h.e.l.lo Mr. Kim tan, I'm Xiya Ruya…the widely known most beautiful A list actress….If you want you can also call me…Ru…ya"

Out of patience, he looked at her coldly and said "Scram…"

Hearing those cold words, Xiya Ruya was stunned. No one in the industry had ever ignored her less spoke to her this coldly….but still, she was not repulsed but was more and more attracted to him.

'this stunning man…he must belong to me….only to me' she thought and stepped one more step forward.

"I repeat…. Scram" Kim tan said once again but the women in front were not budging no matter what.

Just when Kim tan was about to murder this ugly woman, Kim ting popped out of nowhere and un-intentionally spilled the wine he had in his hand on her dress. Startled, Xiya Ruya stepped back hurriedly but found that her luxurious dress was already ruined. Lifting her head, she saw Kim ting's apologetic face as he said 'Oh s.h.i.+t.... miss….I apologize….I missed my steps and slipped a bit. Sorry for ruining your dress….I guess you can still clean it if you rush to the washroom now….the restroom is right in the corner"

Kim ting said leaving no place for Xiya Ruya to speak. Furious, she could only glare at Kim ting and walked away hurriedly to the washroom to save her luxurious dress. When the ugly duckling finally left, Kim ting turned towards Kim tan and said in a rare serious tone "Brother….sister Suzy…."

"Go home first…..I'll look for Suzy now," Kim tan said and left the banquet hurriedly. Seeing the two pairs leaving hall in a hurry, everyone thought that something must have happened and hence did not place much thought into it.

s.n.a.t.c.hing the key away from the chauffeur, Kim tan got into his car and sped it up towards the north. The only place that he could think of now was her home. While driving, Kim tan suddenly remembered the message Suzy had sent which said 'there's going to be a big surprise for you'…was the earlier song the surprise she was talking about? But it seemed that it did not seem like that? Ahh….Suzy, who are you? What exactly are you doing?…with so many questions in his mind, Kim tan could care no less about anything and sped up even breaking the speed limit.

Reaching Suzy's house, he stopped the car abruptly and got down from the car. Sure enough, he saw Suzy's car parked outside with its engine still hot. Talking last strides, he stopped right in front of the door. Taking in a deep breath, he opened the door but was shocked when he walked inside.

Right before his eyes were thousands of lamp lit up and placed on the floor randomly. Two series of lamps were arranged in such an order that they were paving a way for Kim tan to walk on. Between the two lamp rows, rose petals were splattered forming a beautiful path towards the stairs and above.

Trying to calm his nerves, he observed the surroundings carefully but did not find any trace of Suzy. Taking a step forward, he walked on the beautiful rose carpet steadily but when he took his fifth step, a board popped out of nowhere at his left beside the lamp. On a thin stick, which reached till his waist, had a paper plastered on it which said, 'Welcome Kim tan'.

Taking the paper off the board, he walked forward and after another step, another note p.o.o.ped just like the previous one at his left which read 'It's been a long time'

Taking another step forward, another note popped out but this time, the note had an arrow pointing upwards instead. When he stepped on the stairs, another note popped out which said 'Do you remember today's date?'.

Walking up the stairs, he followed the signs that were pointing at one certain direction. When he was at the last step, another note popped out beside the railing which said 'Today, I'm going to give you a huge surprise'

Walking towards the corridor, a few more notes popped out which said 'But before that…I apologize', 'Sorry...Kim tan', 'For all that I did….I'm sorry', 'and today, I want to you a truth', 'A painful truth that…may bring you happiness..', 'And the truth is…'

By the time Kim tan read the last note, he was standing in front of a door. A door that had made him curious for such a long time….the door which gave him a feeling that the thing inside had something to do with him and would bring him happiness…and now, he was standing right in front of the door with a messed up brain and rapidly beating heart.

Looking down, he saw that there was a number lock. Without the pa.s.sword, the door would not open. Racking his brains, he tried to think of a pa.s.sword and even tried a few but to no avail….Suddenly he remembered about the third note he had received downstairs which was quite weird from the other note. The third note read 'Do you remember today's date?'

"Today's date?…Twelfth September?" Suddenly, Kim tan had an ominous feeling. He still remembered, twenty-nine years back, on the same day, he met his childhood sweetheart Li Roulan for the first time and it was the day when he fell in love with her.

Thinking of this, Kim tan became more nervous and his heart started to pound even more rapidly. With his quivering hands, he pressed today's date and month on the lock. With a click, the lock was unlocked making Kim tan even more anxious.

Holding the doork.n.o.b with his trembling hands, he took in a deep breath to steady his racing heart and calm his nerves. After taking continuous deep breath for a few minutes, he finally calmed down his heart as well as the brain. Turning the k.n.o.b slightly, he pushed the door slowly and the next moment, everything exploded...
