I Deserve A Second Chance Chapter 115 - Complain

Li Xiqing was surprised when hearing her polite yet angry words. He quietly looked at her fierce side, and his lips slowly let out a small smile.

After smiling foolishly for a second, he quickly adjusted his expression back. Li Xiqing then turned his head and faced Karl while pointing at Risa, "Please make sure she's out of here and do not let her touch anything," and then he grabbed Yan Yan's hand and walked out of the room.

Karl looked at the couple dumbfounded. He then turned to look at Risa, who surprisingly was smiling while looking at the couple's back. Her smile was so warm, and so tender, Karl could hear his heart thump so loud. He lost his focus for a second, and was just staring at her glowing face.

Risa saw that Karl was looking at her. She quickly collected herself and walked over to the large grey sofa. She grabbed the paper bag that she had put there earlier and from inside, she took out a bundle of cloths.

When she spread it out, Karl noticed that it was a coat. Risa quickly wrapped it around herself, and then she sat down on the sofa and crossed her legs comfortably.

"Uh, you know I should be chasing you out right now, don't you?" Karl walked closer and sat across from her.

Risa took out her mobile phone while nodding at him, "Uh huh. Give me a second, let me make a call real quick." And then her fingers swiped her phone screen and pressed the dial b.u.t.ton. The call was quickly connected.

"It's me. Have you eaten? I saw the weather forecast, it's raining there, please stay warm and don't get sick," Risa started to nag to the person on the other line.

"Oh! I have met him alright! And he is so fierce," Risa complained on the phone. She spread out her fingers and started to look at each nails while talking, "That Li guy wanted to chase me out right away. OH! But guess what?" Risa was telling the story giddily, "It's actually Yan Yan that scolded me and told me to back off!" and then she chuckled softly.

To Karl's surprise, Risa was talking so soft, and so polite; like a kid that was telling her mother what had happened at school. Her tone was warm and childish, while she was talking to whoever on the other side of the phone.

She spoke with mix languages. Sometimes she would prattle in English. When she cursed, she would use j.a.panese. But most of the time, she was speaking in Mandarin. Karl was confused, who this woman really was.

"I have booked a ticket for you, it's next week. You should come quickly and see her yourself. I have been sticking close to Yan Yan now, I think that Li guy will kill me soon if you don't come and save me! Alright?"

Karl heard a laughter from the phone, sounded like an older woman. The other person said something before Risa replied, "I will pick you up, don't worry. I can't wait to see her face when she meet you."

As they were walking out, Shao Yan practically was dragging Li Xiqing by hand. She was walking really fast. She was upset and confused at the same time.

The person she trusted as her mentor; the one she looked up to, the one she idolized; she was actually eyeing her man!

She turned her head around and glared at Li Xiqing; who kept his eyes trained on her back.

'And also this man! This hateful man, not even doing anything and letting her to hug him like that. So annoying. Hmph!' she complained inwardly and then she turned around and looked back to the front again.

Li Xiqing saw all the changes on her face, from being sad, to confused, and then upset, and now angry and annoyed. He pursed his lips, trying to hold himself from grinning.

She was so d.a.m.n cute!

His Yan Yan had been ignoring him the whole time they were walking from his office to the elevator lobby. And Li Xiqing was not pleased. When they were finally inside the elevator, Li Xiqing suddenly tugged her hands and brought all of herself into his embrace.

Shao Yan saw his face closing in, and before she recognized his masculine breath, his lips found hers right away and locked them in immediately.

Shao Yan reflexively put both hands on his chest, while he swiftly wrapped both arms around her. His lips were tasting her endlessly, he kept changing the angle, deepening their kiss and not letting her go, no matter how much she pushed him. He did not budge a muscle.

Instead, he moved and pressed her body on the wall, and his hands slowly rubbed her back, coaxing her to kiss him back. Shao Yan gradually relented to his touch, and her tongue started to search for his, taking control their kisses.

As she was responding to him, Li Xiqing had both arms circled around the small of her back and pulled her closer to him. Her hands slowly crawled on his s.h.i.+rt and went around his neck.

She missed him.

So much.

All she wanted was to be drown in his warmth and showered with his kisses.

One hand left her waist and caressed her head. He cupped her cheek and then he whispered over her swollen lips, "Yan Yan, no matter how upset you are, don't ever ignore me like that," he caught her lower lip again and kissed her again.

Shao Yan moaned and kissed him back with equal ferociousness. His hand went to cup the back of her head; keeping her steady.

He let go off her tempting lips to catch on some air. He breathed slowly while saying, "Always talk everything out, alright?" he leaned his forehead on hers and continued, "I don't want any useless misunderstanding."

Shao Yan absentmindedly nodded along his words, while kept staring at his lips.

Li Xiqing saw that she wanted them to kiss again, but he held himself back. He slowly let her go, and hugged her instead; one hand was cupping her head, and another hand wrapped her securely on her back. Li Xiqing kissed the crown of her head and then he peeked at the camera at the corner of the elevator ceiling.

If they continued, he was so sure that the building security would send him a complain letter tomorrow.
