Wallace watched everything that has transpired within his property.

It certainly didn't feel good to see your place getting destroyed by trespa.s.sers.

Luckily, they only destroyed the insured defense systems and the cheap gate that he have upgraded.

Due to the magic jammer, it easily succ.u.mbed to the intruder's powerful strike. Without the Mana Pulse Barrier protecting it, it looks so brittle in front of them.

Anyway, the recording wasn't that long. Avalon had also sent him the information about the twelve individuals. Looking at it, they were still labeled as unknown.

Although they were obliterated, the A.I.'s scanner captured their images and it was now tracing their origins. 

As Wallace was about to return, an incoming call from a representative of the Golden Trident Group came. Wallace thought for a moment before deciding to answer the call. Anyway, it wouldn't take long.

"h.e.l.lo!"

"Hi, Sir Ravencroft? I'm Ray from Golden Trident, we have been alarmed about the burglary that has occurred within your property. Are you safe?"

"Yes, I am. Thank you for contacting me. I have seen the recordings of what happened. It seems that your equipment were all destroyed. I'm sorry to hear that."

"Eh? Oh. Thats not important, as long as you're safe." 

"About the insurance..."

"Of course... We will cover all the replacement. It's included within your maintenance fee. Even if our equipment gets destroyed everyday by thieves or bandits, we will not increase the price."

"Oh! That's good to hear."

"I believe that the enemies were neutralised by your own defense system already. The police were about to arrive in your property..."

"I see. I'll send the recordings I've gathered. Can you help me coordinating with the police instead? I'm actually not in the property right now."

"I understand. We'll cooperate with the police investigation then. Since we will go to the scene, about your defense system..."

"Don't worry, my Defense System will recognize you as friendly, they won't activate." Wallace a.s.sured the worried officer.

"Ohh... That's a relief." 

"Then I'll go ahead and meet with the police." 

"Alright. Let me know once you traced their origins."

Wallace ended the call with officer Ray. He then immediately traced back his steps and returned to the deck. He noticed that Miya already completed her performance. 

He observed the deck and noticed that there's a glaring sunlight outside their airs.h.i.+p but the people were unaffected by the sunlight's heat. The airs.h.i.+p seems to be covered by a barrier that was capable of controlling the temperature. It was convenient.

'Only half of the pa.s.sengers were here.' Wallace immediately noticed that from the 50 pa.s.sengers, only half remained on the deck to marvel the land below.

He immediately activated his Divine Sense to check where are the others. 

'They're having a tour inside? Oopsss---'

He noticed that the remaining half were being toured inside the luxurious airs.h.i.+p. Unfortunately, Miya's private room seems to be quiet near from where the pa.s.sengers are.

This made the girl feel a subtle feeling of investigative skill being used near her.

However this time, Wallace was quick to act as she didn't had a chance to trace it back to him again.

'This...' Miya had felt a familiar feeling just now stopping herself to undress.

She just finished her performance and was about to change her clothes but the sudden feeling of eyes looking at you from somewhere made her frozen. 

"Is everything alright?" Diana asked after noticing that Miya stopped her movements behind the curtain. The thin fabric allowed her to see Miya's silhouette and after seeing her abnormality, she cautiously probed. 

'Sigh... If I told this to her again, she probably wouldn't stop until she found the culprit again.' Miya had only complained a while ago in the building because she was too shocked by the extremely covert method of probing and also being a bit embarra.s.sed getting probed like that. It felt like everything was seen from her. No one would like to have that kind of experience.

If she hadn't had a breakthrough on her Soul Arts prior to her visit here, she may not have felt that mysterious probing skill that Wallace had used.

Anyway, after she met with Wallace, the culprit of the incident, she had used her Soul Arts and noticed that he really didn't have any evil intentions.

Now, she just wanted to let him know that it was impolite to use the probing skill without the target's consent and a bit of her pride had to ask him to apologize on her. But after thinking for a while, she would be happy as long as Wallace would just stop probing her like that again. 

Unfortunately, her manager Diana was so inclined in pursuing the case. She couldn't stop her as she was only doing her job as her manager. It was all for her sake.

Although Miya was happy about Diana acting like a protective mom, she didn't want to make a stretch out of it so she replied.

"Nothing... I just remembered something." Miya answered not explaining anything. Diana no longer asked as she waited for Miya to change her clothes. 

"Anyway, we didn't find any probing Mana Artifacts from him. Their group only provided two Mana Artifacts and those two doesn't have strong investigative skills that could bypa.s.s our defenses." Diana said remembering Alex's report.

"I see... Nevermind it then. We already told him our message. That should be enough."  

"Haaa~ As you say. But just in case that he really possess an Artifact that we couldn't detect whatsoever, it actually felt scary. It's should be better to stay away from him." Diana gravely said.

"Good. That's what I would like to point out as well. Anyway, this should the last time that we'll meet him." Miya felt better seeing Diana give up.

"That's true. Haha... We'll go to Stellar Region after this. He'll only see you again in television, alb.u.m or posters." Diana said also feeling a bit better. As a manager, she always had to weigh the situation for the better of her artist.

Diana and their secret agents had already caught several of these fans that had gone extreme in their interest to the artist. But this time, their opponent seems to be too deep, it's better not to mess with him.

Miya smiled but her eyes traced with loneliness. Her Soul Arts could see anyone who had evil intentions to her. It was tough. She could always see people's intentions, good or bad. This made her unconsciously lose friends. 

When she was still a trainee, a lot of her batchmates wishes her to succeed. They were not aware of her achievement in Soul Arts so they just say all sweet words without them knowing that she, Miya Linus, was aware that they meant opposite. 

This didn't happen once or twice. This has even occurred within her own family.

It had been a while ever since she saw someone who had peek through her without having any malice or evil intentions. 

"Haaah~"

"Haaah~ I was almost caught there. I should limit my Divine Sense. Mhm... I should practice avoiding those kinds of undulations in my probe." Wallace mumble as he walked towards his family.

"Oh? What happened? You don't look so good?" Elaine asked seeing Wallace's expression.

"Is it the food the Diana gave us?" Clarice raised her brows as he asked.

"Er? No... I'm good. I just received a message that there was a burglar in my house at Tanza."

"What? Who had the guts?! Did they take something? How was you simulator pod? Is it safe?~"

"Is there any important thing taken?"

"Ahh... no. Everything was ok. They didn't managed to steal anything. I have improved my security, remember?"

"Oh right, you have taken a security package from Golden Trident. Then your house should be safe?" Elained asked after realizing that she was the one who recommended the Golden Trident Group to Wallace.

"Is that so?~" Clarice asked curiously.

"Er... Right. Anyway, someone from the security company will handle everything. They just have to inform me of some things."

"Good. Luckily, you're not there. It would be disastrous if your security failed their defense." 

"How many burglars were caught?~"

"Ahh... There's twelve of them. They seems to know a bit of magic."

"Wow. It seems that this Golden Trident has an amazing defense system. I should try to contract them as well."

"Urgh.. I recommend not to..."

"Sir... The five cores seems to have vaporized."

"What?! Impossible! Dig deeper."

Officer Ray was looking at the several holes within the yard that has appeared due to Wallace's signature magic spell that he had shown within the International Compet.i.tion, it was the Laser Focus that was enhanced by several times.

He thought that the material was only pushed deeper on the ground after seeing the holes. He was clearly aware of the toughness of that material so he just couldn't believe that it can be easily melted or destroyed like that.

After spending almost an hour looking for the traces of the cores, Officer Ray can only give up and send his report to his superiors.

"Sigh~ Tell them that the cores were vaporized by Wallace's defense system." Ray paused and looked at the destroyed automatons and turrets before continuing.

"We also have to send five new automatons and turrets quickly."
