He awoke before her as the sun was rising above the small town. He sat up and stretched. It had been a long time since he could just wake up and not have a care in the world, nothing to do, nowhere to go, and no problems with his body. He sat on the edge of the bed and yawned, he sighed and smiled. The sun beamed through the curtains lighting up the room. He walked over to the balcony and looked out over the valley that her room overlooked, the sun made the trees seem golden and the wind gently brushed across his face. He leaned forwards onto his arms and sighed.

"What a beautiful sight in the morning," He turned around and walked back into the room, "Maybe I should go ask for some breakfast and have it here before she wakes up," He said talking to himself, "Yeah, I'll do that," He walked out of the room and asked one of the servants to bring them breakfast and then returned to the room. He sat down at the table looking at her as she slept, he chuckled as he saw her arms move, looking for him. He walked over next to her and gently caressed her cheek. She turned onto her back and slowly blinked awake, "Oops, did I wake you?"

"No, good morning."

"Good morning, Bella, how are you doing? Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, this bed makes me lonely when I am alone, but with you, I don't feel alone," He kissed her cheek and she rested her head on his shoulder, "Should I ask for breakfast?"

"Done."

"Um, well, okay then, um, when?"

"Like a few minutes ago, so it should be here-," A knock came to the door, "Well, I think I know what that is," He got up and opened the door and let the servants in with their breakfast, "Thank you."

"No need to thank us, sir," The maid said as they left the room, "Enjoy," He pulled out a chair for Bella and she sat down in front of him at the table. They began eating and Gold started the conversation.

"Nervous?"

"A little bit, but I am happy, when will we leave for your palace?"

"Whenever you want, probably after the marriage," Gold laughed as he took a bit out of a roll of bread, "I think we might take a little bit of time, by carriage."

"Where is this palace of yours?"

"In the southern peeks," She suddenly stopped eating, "But don't worry, one of my servants is a demon lord, so even if there are demons around there, we will be fine, why would I bring you there if it was dangerous? It is just a perfect place for a ma.s.sive palace, no houses there and no village that could've been disturbed by the palace."

"Are you sure?" Gold nodded, "Well, if you say so, I guess you are right, but how big is this palace?"

"I don't know, you and I will discover it at the same time," He smiled at her and blew her a kiss, "I love you."

"Well, maybe when we get to my palace you can try some of the alcohols that Nikholas always has for me, if he remembered, but he probably did, he has the memory of an elephant."

"Do you, um, want to take a bath before?" She blushed as she asked him that, "Like before everything happens?"

"Sure, let's go, I think that I should, I haven't taken a bath in a year or so."

"What?! And you slept next to me? But, you don't seem dirty."

"I have cleaned myself, with spells, like force water and manipulate water, you know, I haven't had time to take baths like that, or had a place to take a bath like this."

"Then let's go," She said as she began walking to the bathroom, "Come on, we might not have much time."

"Don't rush, it is fine, the marriage won't be in ten minutes, it is going to be in the afternoon or at noon, not now."

"I don't care about the time, I want to see you-," She put her hand in front of her mouth and blushed, "Forget what I said."

"You want to see me? I can guess what the ending is," He smiled as he followed her, "But, I guess you still love me as much as you did before, I would love a ma.s.sage like the ones you gave me before, remember? When I was injured?"

"You liked those so much?" She grinned, "Sure, I can do that for you, what can you do for me in return?" She pulled off her nightgown and placed it on the wooden bench in the bathroom and walked into the bath. "Congratulations on your marriage," Kain said placing his hand on Gold's shoulder, "I am happy to see Bella so happy with you, thank you, she has never seemed so happy, my son."

"Oh, please, don't call me that," Gold said, "I prefer Gold or Sir Gold, anything you want but not son please."

"Why not, darling?"

"Well, my father used to call me that, and um, yeah, things happened that I don't like reminding myself of him," Gold stammered, "But if you really want to, call me that."

"Well, if you insist, Gold," Kain chuckled, "Are you going to be staying here for a while? Or are you leaving to some place?"

"Well, we probably will stay the night and then tomorrow we will leave to my home," Gold said as Bella leaned against him, "So, we are staying a little bit, if that doesn't bother you of course."

"No, it doesn't bother me, just tonight, keep it down, I am a little tired."

"Father! You have to stop!" Both Gold and Kain were laughing, making her blush, "Stop laughing at me."

"Don't worry, we won't wake you," He kissed Bella's cheek, "Let's go back to the room, what do you think?" He looked at Bella and she nodded and smiled. They walked back to her room, holding hands and Bella locked the door behind them, the sun was on its way down. The townspeople had celebrated their marriage enthusiastically and cheerfully, as if it was their own child's marriage, they were all happy to witness the marriage and cheered as they walked out as a newlywed couple. She pulled the knot that held the back of the dress and it fell to the floor, revealing her nearly naked body, Gold smiled and his suit turned back into robes and they disappeared. She walked towards him and pulled his head down towards hers, pulling him into a kiss. He returned the kiss and they held each other and then Gold pulled away and gazed into her eye.

"You look beautiful," He kissed her again and he heard her stomach grumble, "Hungry? I'll ask for some food."

"Thank you, I need to get dressed again."

"No, I'll get dressed," His robes reappeared on his body, "You just wait here," He walked out of the room and went to ask for food and returned a few minutes later and found Bella laying down on her side, on the bed leaning her head on her right hand, "Well, I have a feeling this is some sort of clue, am I right?"

"How can you guess?"

"Let's eat before that, you made me hungry."

"What type of perverted innuendo is that?"

"N-no, that's not what I meant, you being hungry made me hungry, not seeing you, that would be weird," Gold stammered, "What do you want to do tonight?"

"Come on, you are teasing me now," She whined, "What did you ask for?"

"Lots of small dishes," He turned his head and looked at her, "I want to surprise you with something, well, I want to enjoy this time."

"If you say so, I can't wait for this surprise of yours," She said slyly, "Can I ask what it consists of?"

"You'll see," Gold smiled at her and took a drink from his gla.s.s, "So you haven't ever drank alcohol?"

"No, why?" She sat up on the bed, "My father doesn't drink, so neither do I, even if I have wanted to try, maybe when we are at our new home, you can make me try some, what do you think?"

"Fine," She sighed as he lay down next to her, "Did you lock the door?"

"Shhhh, don't worry about it, I am talking to myself," He whispered and kissed her cheek, "Tomorrow, we should bathe together."

"Okay, goodnight," She yawned, "I am so tired."

"Then sleep, goodnight."
