"Ahh, today's work is finally over."

One of the employees of the PR Team stretched her arms out as she smiled happily. Another day of work was finally over, so she can go home now.

"I'm also tired but I still have to write some press releases for tomorrow."

"Press releases? For what?"

The female employee asked the male employee who has a tired expression on his face. He wanted to go home and rest, but there was still work to do.

"The press releases are for the awards tomorrow."

"You mean the Golden dragon movie awards? Are there any actors from our company that had been nominated in the awards?"

When the female employee said that, the male employee scoffed as he looked at her with an expression of disbelief.

His face was like he was saying 'How can you not even know of it?'.

As the female employee still feigned ignorance, he sighed and said.

"You don't even know that Xin Ren and Xiao Rin from our company had been nominated for the best actor and best actress award respectively?"

"Yes, that!! I completely forgot about that."

The female employee finally remembered. She had been too busy in writing articles about Lumous that she only had them in her mind. 

She even forgot about the nominations because of that.

"Are you writing press releases in case Ren wins the award?"

"Yes, but it's not just Ren but also Xiao Rin who can win."

"Isn't her chances lower than Ren?"

The female employee didn't think that Xiao Rin could win the award. It was the award for the best actress and there were better choices than her.

Moreover, she was just 17 years old, a great actress but still too young.

If she really won the award, then she would be the youngest actress to win the best actress award.

"If there is even a little chance, then I have to write them down. You know how Director Kang is to those who slack in their work."

Director Kang may look like an amiable lady at first glance but she was really hard on her team, especially when it comes to work.

"Yes, their condition would be worse than mine but it's not easy either. After this, I have a meeting with the marketing department of Wheel works production."

"A meeting?"

The female employee raised her eyebrow as she asked.

"Yes, it's a meeting to discuss the announcement of the «Slayers» cast."

"I thought they were going to announce it weeks ago."

The announcement about the cast was going to be held a month ago but because of Ren's fight with Xiao Yunhai, it was delayed. 

After that, it kept getting delayed due to some other reasons.

In the end, the marketing team of Wheel works production decided that it would be best to announce it after the Golden dragon movie awards. 

"They thought that if any of the actors from the cast got an award, then they can boost the marketing of the drama."

"So, they are trying to rely on Ren."

The male employee shook his head and replied.

"No, not just Ren, they are also trying to rely on Li Xinru and Tang Lan. Honestly, they don't have to do it because having a heavenly king as the main character is enough to get good ratings for any drama."

The heavenly king, Hou Qian hadn't acted at all in the last year but his popularity was sky high.

As he was coming back from his break, «Slayers» would get a good response anyway. Just the popularity of the cast was enough to surpa.s.s 3% in the ratings. 

"Maybe, they want to surpa.s.s all of our expectations."

The female employee stood up from her seat as she said. It was nice to talk but she quickly wanted to get home and sleep. 

"Where are you going?"

"Home."

"How nice! I want to go home and sleep too."

The male employee sighed in desperation as he rubbed his eyes. His state was not good as he even had dark circles under his eyes.

"I'm starting to take pity on you."

"If you feel bad about me, then why don't you sit down and help me do some of my work."

"Ah, no, I am not that good of a person."

"Thought so."

The male employee slumped down on the keyboard as he looked at the female employee leaving the office.

He still had lots of work to do!!

"Stop complaining. It's not like you are the only one working all night."

"I don't even care about the place. I just wanted to sleep now."

In the office of a media outlet, several people were typing on their keyboard.

All of them were reporters who were writing articles furiously on their computers. In just a minute, the screen will be filled with words.

They were barely able to open their eyes and some were taking sips from the coffee cup from time to time.

It was just for one reason.

To stay awake!

Some people were complaining but even they don't have a choice but to write or they will feel the wrath of the director. 

"d.a.m.n! Golden dragon movie awards. Imma break the s.h.i.+t out of that golden dragon."

One of the employees said as he sipped on the coffee. It was his ninth curse tonight. 

"We can't do anything. The awards will be attended by most of the celebrities and it's not like it's the first time. This happens every year."

One of the older employees said.

"Ahh, I can't go on."

One of the interns said. He was seriously considering leaving the job but it was not easy to find a job and his interns.h.i.+p will end soon anyway.

He would be promoted to a full-time employee then.

"You are still a newbie. That's why, it looks hard but I'm already used to it."

The older employee again said.

"Yes, Golden dragon movie awards will come every year. So, we have to spend a night every year writing articles about it."

"We can't do anything as our news agency main focus is on the entertainment industry and the awards are more intense this year anyway."

"What do you mean by that?"

The intern said as he looked at the bald, middle aged man who had said that.

"Oh, well, you know the nominees of the best actor award?"

"Yes, I know them. Most of them are veteran actors but the two people who are more likely to win the award are Xin Ren and Xiao Yunhai."

"You should also know about the relations.h.i.+p between the two of them."

"Ohh!"

The intern finally understood. 

He still remembered the night he had written articles about the online feud between the fans of both of them.

Now that, both Ren and Xiao Yunhai are nominated in the same category and it was for the best actor award too, the winner of the feud will come out soon. 

Previously, people had acted like it was Ren's victory but the award show will announce the true victor.

The intern can guess that the fans of both the celebrities would already be fighting out with each other online.

"The awards will really be more intense this time."

The intern said as he started writing an article about it on his computer screen.
