His voice was drowned out by all the others he began to believe those voices were his own. That's when the world became silent once again. Desmond looked around in the darkness wondering the same thing once again as he said, "Its dark, why is it so dark?".
Desmond didn't know why it was dark and even though he felt that he could Desmond didn't want to leave the darkness. Felt safe there like the darkness was s.h.i.+elding him from something, but from what? The question Desmond kept repeating still remained, why was it so dark?
After an indispensable amount of time, the voices came again. They all wanted something, they were afraid of someone, they were all in pain. But, from all those voices one stood out its screams carried with it a level of confusion and hatred that none of the other voice had.
When that voice spoke the darkness shook, "I hate you. How could you do this to me I loved you?".

When that voices spoke Desmond found it to be incredibly familiar. The sound of that voice made Desmond wonder something different for once.
"Who is that?" Desmond thought but didn't know the answer.
"Well then who am I?" Desmond thought even longer for the answer to that question but still couldn't find it.
As Desmond was thinking the single voice that stood out from the rest screamed out a name dripping with all the malevolence that it carried, "Desmond". It shouted continuously from outside the endless darkness.
Hearing that name dragged up a few memories deep inside him, "Desmond, I know that name, but it is not my own. That name belongs to some old man who's soul I ate and who's ident.i.ty I stole. If I had a choice at that time I would have chosen someone else beside him. From day one that old man brought me nothing but trouble all because of some stupid brat named Ingram.
Like a bolt of lightning, it hit him Desmond finally found out everything he needed to know. "So, that's where I am I'm inside my soul and all those voices are those from people I consumed".
"I hate you, I loved you father" Desmond was displeased with Ingram because he was starting to become annoying.
"Shut up already Ingram the fact that you still can't even tell that I'm not the real Desmond Gillies shows that your nothing more than I broken mess. I never loved you h.e.l.l I never even knew you yet you still made my life a never ending s.h.i.+t show that I had no control over. So, f.u.c.k you and that goes for all the other people I ate because you all deserved it".
Desmond words brought onto him the full unrelenting furry of those he had consumed. As the many souls attached, Desmond felt his own self awareness slipping. Once he fully lost himself Desmond would become just like other wondering souls wild, incapable of thought, with a strong hatred towards the living.
Not wanting his consciousness to disappear Desmond fought the relentless screams back with his own. Desmond's voice was suppressed by the many others, but he wasn't worried because unlike those others not only was he a sane spirit with a lot of experience, but he was a mage.
In all of the chaotic voices, Desmond found harmony. He resonated his voice with all the others creating something new. The power of Desmond's voice serged outward colliding with the darkness breaking it apart. The protective sh.e.l.l that protected Desmond's true soul was no more. He was exposed to the colorful whirlpool of souls that he had consumed. Many souls lept out of the tide to attack Desmond especially Ingram who was still somehow using his hack ability to take on a human form.
Desmond's voice drove the other souls back until they all finally submitted to his might and followed the flow of the whirlpool. Desmond resided in the center of the whirlpool and it was there he found that their power was his power. So long as Desmond controls the whirlpool and doesn't have it seized by any of the souls that surround him he will control everything.
As Desmond's power grew so did the sound of his voice it made Desmond's actual body vibrate Till Desmond's eyelids shot open. Desmond's eyes appeared to be clouded like a thick fog had concealed them till his clouded eyes burned with a rainbow colored fire. Desmond's body resonating with his soul shot up once again from the bed he laid on and extended his jaw down far enough till it was able to fit a human head inside.
That's when Desmond let out a sound from his mouth that was impossible for a human to make. It was a ghostly whale that nearly destroyed the entire room Desmond was in and broke the floor to ceiling window separating him from outer s.p.a.ce.
As Desmond shouted the flame from his eye sockets extended to the rest of his body turning him into a colorful human torch. Desmond's lack of control and destruction of his home prompted Ragnar to walk into the room. Ragnar calmly walked towards Desmond whom on pure instinct turned and shouted at him.
Desmond ghostly whale was a devastating AOE (area of effect) attack that can deal physical damage and damage a person's soul. Desmond's powerful voice tore up the floor and struck Ragnar who kept walking forward unimpeded. Desmond's attack was equivalent to a gentle breeze to Ragnar.
Ragnar tire of Desmond destroying his house punched Desmond in the face knocking him out cold. Seeing all of the damage that Desmond caused Ragnar said out loud, "Bata Repair this room and obstruct this man from making a further mess".
[As you wish master Ragnar] The artificial tower spirit that operates Ragnar and Seraphine's home replied. Within moments all the damage that Desmond had caused was repaired by the tower spirit.
Seeing everything was fixed Ragnar went back to run his shop.
