"Why aren't you drinking? Go on and have some," the director said and as he refilled Marcel's gla.s.s with liquor. Marcel used to have a good alcohol tolerance but he had never drunk alcohol with his current body so he was worried about how fast he was going to get drunk.

"I've already had some," Marcel said trying to brush off the whole situation but the director didn't let him and insisted that he have some more. Marcel looked at Julia and saw that she wasn't even looking in his direction.

He sighed in defeat before he took the gla.s.s and downed the drink in one go. He stuck out his tongue and furrowed his eyebrows from the strong taste of alcohol as he felt it warm his stomach.

"What did you give me?" Marcel asked.

"It's vodka, haven't you drunk before?" the director asked as he laughed at his reaction.

"No, I just turned eighteen this week," Marcel said and leaned on the back of his chair. He could already feel the effects of the alcohol as his limbs felt heavier.

"Argh, Mr. Director-," Marcel started. He speech slowed as he was doing his best to collect his thoughts.

"Give me a minute," Marcel said and pulled out his phone and texted Damien to send him his address so he could pick Liam up. After five minutes he received a reply and gave his phone to Julia.

"We have to stop there before we go home, I have to go take my baby… brother," Marcel said as he slowly blinked at Julia.

"How could you make him drink so much?" Julia scolded Allan who had called her to come and get him.

"I didn't give him a lot, he is a beginner, I didn't know that," Allan defended. He was very familiar with Julia.

"How much drinking experience did you expect him to have? He is still a kid!" Julia said and promptly ignored Allan who was trying to make excuses.

"Can we go now?" Marcel asked as he hugged her arm.

"Yes, come one," Julia said and slowly walked out with him so he wouldn't trip over his own feet.

Avian watched all this happen in frustration as he could detox Marcel but he was still too weak to do something like that.
