"Half, thank you for eliminating the terrorist, he managed to ambush us during dinner which caught me off-guard. If only I reacted faster, this incident could've been avoided very easily. However, at the very least, my daughter is still alive. I don't know what I would have done if they murdered her." Hadrius respectfully declared as he removed the bindings from his daughter.
"Yes, yes. I will now take my leave, along with my guard unit. Never speak of my involvement in this cl.u.s.terf**k, otherwise a similar fate such as Reaper's will await you." Simon instructed as he and his injured guards disappeared into the mansion.
The coldness of the night had created a feeling of peace in this blood soaked garden. The sky reflected a dark crimson s.h.i.+ne onto the puddles of blood, creating a beautiful scene. A piece of art, something that simply wouldn't be recreated by the hands of a common scrub. Scattered corpses littered the premises, unmoving and cold. The s.h.i.+vers of spines was the chorus of this night, only a reaper could be its grand conductor. Cold and objective, death had come to the Reaper territory.
Inside the mansion, was another a more warm and brutally violent scene. Blood and corpses were being thrown about, the remaining gang member were unable to flee, only able to die. Without their powerful leader, these wretches could only scream and perish. Even when wounded, the guards easily made quick work of the remaining gang members. That is the difference between ranks; sky and earth.
"Honoured master, the remaining gang members have been executed as per your righteous orders. Are there any more orders that you will have us fulfil?" Lenn asked as he sheathed his sword after wiping off the blood from its blade. Cold and unmoving, the corpses littered the halls, only the guards and Simon stood. The guards held solemn expressions for the devils that had been murdered today and shared no remorse for the execution of these gang members. Today had forged a sense of loyalty towards their ruthless master, a sense of reverence. Before them, was a devil that his precious treasure stolen, and his brother murdered. However, such a person didn't merit much respect, only pity.
The reverence drew upon his actions. The cruel and violent slaughter of the gang members had awakened their senses. If one has the conscience to kill innocent children, then they are no longer equals. However, Simon did not just kill the lowly gang members, but he also brutally humiliated and slayed Ripper. Such a feat would definitely go down in history, but not yet, such a tale would shake the Demon World to its core.
"Thank you for allowing us to partic.i.p.ate in this hunt." Lenn bowed respectfully towards this revered master. Without any doubts in his hearts, this devil was the only in his heart that the senior guard could wholeheartedly respect. The act of slaying Ripper was enough for him to vow an oath in his heart to always serve this master.
"You have shown us guards the meaning of honour and justice. I humbly request to serve under you as your personal guard and subordinate!" Lenn announced pa.s.sionately as he placed his hand over his heart knelt down on knee.
"May the Asure know that I have pledged myself to the reign of the Blood Monarch as your personal guard and subordinate!" Lenn declared.
'Wonderful, this guard is rather well mannered and had a decent personality. Keeping him as my sword might not be a bad idea.'
"Me too! I want to serve the Honoured master!" Another guard shouted as he knelt down.
"Me too! Honoured master please accept my vow of allegiance!"
One by one, the vows came. Simon felt genuinely happy because of this. Such heartfelt vows could make any devil proud, only a heartless edgelord would turn these guards away. Luckily, Simon is not that.
"I accept your vows of allegiance." Simon said as he gestured for them to stand up.
"Come with me, there are still corpses to recover." Simon instructed as he began to walk down the hallway in the direction of the room that contained Jazukal's corpse.
'Ripper is gone, but 'Balor' remains. Not for long, anyway.'
"Yes, Honoured master." The guards followed behind him in a perfectly neat formation. Resolved to serve Simon, the guards held their heads up high and walked behind their lord.
"Very good." Simon smiled from beneath his mask in satisfaction.
Upon entering the room, a disturbing scene came to light. The smell of death had vanished from the scene, blood no longer stained the entire room, and the corpses were no longer where they should have been. Everything had vanished.
It was as if the room had been swiped clean of every single substance, leaving nothing.
"Where are the corpses?" Simon asked as he saw the room before him was completely empty. Stressed, Simon went to he centre of the room and looked around with his eyes, checking whether there was any sign of possible evidence of a third party. But there were no things to find, all the evidence had been swiped clean.
"Honoured master...this is not normal...no one can perfectly clean up all of that blood. This is too abnormal!" Lenn stammered as he too became shocked at the development.
Whatever it was, Simon couldn't figure it out. There was no evidence to sift through, there were no footsteps to a.n.a.lyse, there were no signs of magic, and there were no witnesses left alive at the scene. Everyone is dead, but his twin brother's body is nowhere to be found.
"Someone has the b.a.l.l.s to deprive me of my right to see my brother. Whomever it is, I can only ensure a satisfying death!"

A brief explosion of energy surged from Simon's very being, encapsulating him in an orange glow. Sending his guards flying backwards, the aura grew until it suddenly halted, leaving Simon seeming much more refined.
