Nixon opened his eyes, and his hand shot to his numbing neck.

What happened? He asked himself. He was worried about Holley since the girl filed a leave without giving anyone a heads up.

After he tracked her down, he flew to England to the Jones estate. When he arrived, like his eyes knew where she was, he spotted her talking to Cain Fay. His blood boiled, and he bolted in their direction when something sharp struck his neck, and he lost consciousness.

Slightly shaking his head, he stood to his feet and fell back down, grabbing the bed for support. His brain ran in circles and his sight blurred while his body burned, aching in pain.
