Chapter 2: You Looked Like My Dead Mother Part 1

As the unknown length of time pa.s.sed by, Gu Yuanyuan regained her consciousness. She felt so uncomfortable for some unknown reasons. Moreover, her head was also a little bit groggy from the agonizing noises that were constantly ringing on her ears. It was a very torturous moment for her.

 " … Miss Gu was too delicate and very fragile. She was frozen all night in the mountains and somewhat frightened because of it… It's necessary for her to be taken to the hospital… it might be serious… could cause Meningitis…"  She just only heard the bits of words from it, not entirely understanding anything as it was only adding to the dizziness she was feeling.

Lying down on the bed and, flushed red with fever, the girl's perfect eyebrows tightly creased together as if she was suffering from some kind of distress.

Upon witnessing this terrible sight, Lu Wenchen instantly exuded a chillingly cold aura around him. The poor doctor beside him, on the other hand, suddenly became terrified and promptly added: "The equipment and facilities inside this clinic were only limited. It would be advisable to transfer her to the hospital as it would improve her condition for the better."

Instead of saying a word, Lu Wenchen just silently walked towards the bed and directly sat on its side. He stretched his hands to gently caress Gu Yuanyuan's pale face. At that moment, aside from Lu Wenchen, all the people inside the room suddenly felt their scalp turned numb and, all the hairs on their body had stood up. They couldn't fathom the unexpected sight.

"Gu Yuanyuan, you'd better wake up honestly." He said those words with a gentle voice yet, it could make someone freaked out after hearing him.

"Otherwise, if you don't, I'll throw you to Xiao Hui and let him handle you." He domineeringly continued.

The dizziness in her head was still there, however, Gu Yuanyuan had no choice but to wake up before this freak could do something to her. She forced herself to open her eyes and get up even though she could hardly do so for, she was still so weak. She really tried her best and, she's not faking it. 

Lu Wenchen, then, stood up after seeing her move. He issued an order with an indifferent tone: "Take her to the hospital, immediately."

Although Gu Yuanyuan couldn't afford to close her eyes, her body betrayed her and, weakly close on its own. She was being taken to the hospital but, even so, she must still find a chance to escape.

Besides, she also wanted to figure out what's purpose and the significance of the 'delicate value'. If she's not mistaken, it should be her golden finger in this novel world but, she couldn't understand why she was still so weak and so lethargic.

When she woke up for the second time again, Gu Yuanyuan looked around her surroundings. She had noticed that all she could see was all white, therefore she concluded that she was in the hospital. 

"Are you awake now, Younger Sister Yuanyuan? What's wrong? Would you like to drink some water?" She heard someone was talking.

After that worry-like question, a gla.s.s of water suddenly came over her mouth, seemingly like choking her to death.

Gu Yuanyuan, who was the receiving end of that stunt, unceremoniously slapped the woman hard. While at the same time, all the water that was shoved on her mouth all sprayed on the woman's face.

A loud and a resounding scream could be heard all of a sudden, followed by a shrieking voice of another woman.

"Gu Yuanyuan, how could you do this?! Our Miss was so kind to help you and feed you with water when you're very incapable to do so. And yet, instead of showing your grat.i.tude, you sprayed the water on her face in return. What kind of heart do you have?!"

"Xaiotian, don't talk nonsense. Younger Sister Yuanyuan was just careless and a little bit clumsy. I know that she didn't mean any of it.”

Not minding the two, Gu Yuanyuan properly sat up on the bed and carefully observed the new environment through her placid eyes. Presently, she was inside a luxurious and high-cla.s.s ward. The door was open, and there, she could vaguely see the two men with black clothing. They were standing guard at the door side and apparently indifferent to the origin of the resounding noise that could be heard inside.

Stood in front of her, were two young and beautiful women. One was as soft and as pure as the white lily, while the other was with a very feminine and round lovely face.

A gentle smile and a sharp glowering eyes with a hint of rage.

Gu Yuanyuan: "…"

"Miss, you are too gentle and generously kind to her. She, on the contrary, didn't care at all. She even had the guts to bully you." Mo Xiaotian distressingly added.

"You're clearly the fiancé of the Third Master, yet, he had asked you to take care of this scheming white lotus of a b.i.t.c.h. What did Third Master account you for? He's hurting your heart too much. He was so cruel."
