She coughed lightly. “You’re injured. Let me apply some ointment for you. I have some in the office.”

Jiang Yuning lowered his head and didn’t make a sound.

As she continued to apply the ointment, her eyes couldn’t help but rove over the rest of his body. His spine was delicate and elegant, unlike most men at the police station. Whenever her colleagues changed in front of her, she could see their fat bellies and their thick necks. It was not a good look.

She had seen Feng Jichuan’s torso before, too. He was muscular and st.u.r.dy, and his copper skin and scars made him look like a real man.
