Even though Xiong Jingfei left Yang Zheyan sitting by myself with the Director. She didn't forget to turn around occasionally to check in on him. Unexpectedly, he was getting along with Director Hu and the rest of the crew. He was really a person who can adjust himself to fit with the environment, unlike her.

Every day to her was floating by like a dream. She is barely living to the fullest in her own world. To her, she is living between two different worlds, hers and Ai. Sometimes it was hard to distinguish which one was her reality and Ai's reality. Especially after what happened at the abandoned building.

She lightly touched her throat. After all this time, it was still hard for her to adjust after the incident of losing her voice. Whether what happened was a dream or not, it was more than enough to hear her own voice again.

"Ah, CEO Yan-"

"It's Lu Weisheng!" Yang Zheyan immediately interjects, correcting Director Hu, who almost blurted out the truth, again.

"O-oh yes! Did you need a tissue?" Director Hu asked, searching around the table to see if he can find any. They had it prepared in case anyone's eyes began running with water when the scene was in action.

"No..." Yang Zheyan answered, although his action was giving a different answer. He was reaching out to grab the tissues that were on Xiong Jingfei's seat.

Director Hu sealed his lips shut, thinking he must have gone crazy to ask such his boss this question. No matter how nice Yang Zheyan was rumored to be, he was still his boss and a CEO for a reason.

Xiong Jingfei cracked a small smile watching Yang Zheyan and Director Hu's interaction. As much as she wasn't fond of him because of what happened between them. He didn't seem to be a bad person for now in her eyes.

Yang Zheyan looked up to find Xiong Jingfei staring at him. It would be a lie if he didn't feel embarra.s.sed if she noticed that he cried. It's just that his face was thicker than that. If not, he couldn't become a successful businessman when coming to face with other two-face CEOs out there.

He returned her gaze with a teasing wink and with his lips forming a smirk.

Xiong Jingfei immediately turned her attention back to Wu Yuan and the female lead, who was currently the center of attention. She doesn't know why she became more embarra.s.sed than Yang Zheyan, who was caught crying. But, it didn't stop her from turning back around with a smile and mouthed, 'Stupid.'

For some odd reason, she was getting comfortable with this "Lu Weisheng" really fast. If it were anyone else, she wouldn't have been "willing" to go with him and ask him to take her to somewhere outside the city. Also, to share a room with someone, she met for the very first time... A part of her felt like she may be going insane to let any of these things be happening too.

She wasn't a five-year-old that would get tricked into getting a stranger's car or go with them. She was already twenty-two and about to be married off soon.

Yang Zheyan's lips twitched, seeing her becoming so bold and calling him names. He must be crazy to let her kick him and now calling him stupid. He tried comforting himself that his "wife" was only insulting her own husband, but that wasn't exactly helping either. On the other hand, he couldn't help smiling that she was beginning to feel comfortable with him.

Wu Yuan noticed Yang Zheyan's unblinking eyes staring at Xiong Jingfei. So he deliberately stepped behind her to block her from Yang Zheyan's sight. Of course, Wu Yuan felt highly satisfied seeing Yang Zheyan's eyebrows narrowing down though it was barely noticeable. At least, it meant he was annoyed at what he was doing to him.

Yang Zheyan stood up and walked towards Xiong Jingfei. He had a feeling Wu Yuan didn't like him, but he doesn't know why he doesn't like him. This was his first time meeting Wu Yuan in person.

"Congrats," Yang Zheyan extended out his hand first towards Wu Yuan. It appeared to be a polite gesture, but he was really separating him from Xiong Jingfei.

Wu Yuan returned the handshake, "Thank you for taking the time to come out here, Y"

"You are so welcome!" Yang Zheyan cut off Wen Yuan from revealing who he was. Gritting his teeth, in his head, he cursed at Wen Yuan. d.a.m.n, this brat knows who I am.

Swiftly and smoothly, he wrapped his arms Xiong Jingfei's waist to pull her away from him. He began walking away with her to only turn back around, loudly saying, "We have to get going now before it gets too late. Right, darling?"

If they stay any longer, he doesn't know who will be the next person to reveal his ident.i.ty. If anything, it'll end up being Wu Yuan! He has been handing out hints ever since he arrived with Xiong Jingfei. Apparently, Wu Yuan didn't bother to hide the fact that he trying to sabotage Yang Zheyan's plans.

Being far enough from everyone, Xiong Jingfei pinched Yang Zheyan's side, giving him the att.i.tude, who is he to call her his darling.

"Your husband," Yang Zheyan laughed. Despite telling the truth, who will believe it based on the way he said it to her.

Instead, she pushed him away from her and rolled her eyes. It seems like someone really wants to be her husband.

She bid her goodbyes to everyone on set and told them she wouldn't stay behind for the after-party. Even when Wu Yuan had personally asked her to stay, and he was willing to take her back. Obviously, Yang Zheyan wouldn't let that happen.

So he drove her back to Sinw.a.n.g City and dropped her off at An Jing University. She wanted to be dropped off at her apartment, but prefer if they ended things between them this way. He doesn't need to know where she lives because this will be the last time she will see him. They were strangers who ran into each other by accident.

When they arrived at An Jing's front gates, Xiong Jingfei made sure to thank him once again. Right when she opened the door, Yang Zheyan pulled her back, causing the door to be left wide open.

"You're going to leave just like that?" Yang Zheyan came closer to face and held onto her hand, unwilling to let go. Although he was doing this to tease her, he really didn't want to let her go either.

She t.i.tled her head to the side, what more did he want from her? Sighing, she searched in her backpack and purse to see if she had anything consider valuable to give him as repayment. While searching, she accidentally pulled out a folded piece of paper. It fell next to her and took Yang Zheyan's attention with it.

He picked it up and was taken aback by what was on it. It had a sketch of what seemed to be a woman's hairpin. What astonished him was at how detailed it was on the piece of a paper. It was as if he was holding the real thing and not looking at it through a piece of paper.

When Xiong Jingfei finished rummaging through her bags, she only found a piece of candy. Actually, it was her last piece of candy. She ended up eating the rest while in cla.s.s. It was to help prevent her from falling asleep.

She grabbed Yang Zheyan's hand and gave him her last piece of candy. She held both her thumbs up, letting him know that's all she had left to offer him.

"I'll take this too," Yang Zheyan leaned in and stole a cheek kiss from her, meanwhile hiding the sketch behind him. He doesn't know why he had to hide it from her. Was he afraid she will take it back? The drawing did belong to her! Even though Yang Zheyan is shameless, but one thing he will never do is steal. Only this one time, he did without a second thought, and out of everyone, he took it from Xiong Jingfei.

Xiong Jingfei pointed her finger at him and rubbed away the soft tingly feeling on her left cheek.

"Sweet~," Yang Zheyan licked his lips seductively. He smiled mischievously, "You better run along now before I eat you up."

Making a 'hmph,' she marched out of his car and slammed the door shut. She had two choices. One, fight with him over one kiss and maybe get eaten up. Despite knowing him for a short amount of time, she knows he'll seriously do it. Two, leave because she'll never see him ever again.

"Feifei," Yang Zheyan rolled down the pa.s.senger window. He still had on that mischievous smile when she turned around at her name being called out. He held up a piece of paper between his fingers before giving it a kiss, "I'll be taking this!"

If only she can gasp, it'll be a loud one. She wanted to demand him to give it back! But even if she could talk, it was too late because he already drove off. Instead of one, he now took three things from her in a row! She cursed in her head, shameless all around! She was also regretting in not doing choice number one.

She didn't care that Yang Zheyan took the drawing, but the issue is that he took her only copy of the b.u.t.terfly hairpin! She took a long time to get it that detailed and accurate.

"Feifei..."

Xiong Jingfei almost threw her backpack and purse on the ground. She was already exhausted, and the day was just starting. Why is there another problematic person coming her way? Did the person see her yet? Can she still run away...

Who was she kidding...

Slowly, she turned around to face that person. It wasn't the person who spoke that will bring her problem, but the one always following behind closely.
