Wei Zichen watched the footage taken from the visitation room on the day when Nie Zhu Mei went and met Chi Yuan. After knowing that his mother could not help her, Chi Yuan said something horrible to his mother.

Wei Zichen went to her mother's room. When he opened the door, he saw his mother was sitting on the chair while watching out the window.

"Mum, I am here to visit you. How are you?" Wei Zichen stated.

"Oh, you are here. I am good." Nie Zhu Mei answered.

Wei Zichen was surprised to see his mother like this. She looked so weak. It was his first time seeing his mother like this. Even when his mother got divorced from his father, she never acted like this. 

"Are you feeling really okay?" Wei Zichen asked.

Nie Zhu Mei did not answer the question as they heard someone coming into the house. 

"Mum, I come to visit you." It was Feng Ni Lan who came over.

Actually, she was really worried when hearing Wei Zichen talking about her mother-in-law last night. Not eating much was not good for the elder like her mother-in-law. 

She could not help to come over and saw her mother in front of her eyes. 

"Ni Lan? What are you doing here?" Wei Zichen just got out of his mother's mother.

"Husband? You too? What are you doing here?" Feng Ni Lan asked.

She did not expect to see her husband here, not at work. 

"I told you yesterday that I am coming to see Mum." Wei Zichen stated.

"Oh, I thought you will be coming after work." Feng Ni Lan said. "Where is Mum?"

"She is inside her room over there." Wei Zichen pointed at the room.

Feng Ni Lan went inside. She could see her mother-in-law sitting in silence.ραпdαs `nᴏνɐ| сom

"I am okay. What are you doing here?" Nie Zhu Mei smiled weakly.

Feng Ni Lan was surprised to see Nie Zhu Mei act weak like this. It was also her first time seeing her mother-in-law like this. She was thinking the same as Wei Zichen.

"Su Kee and I come to visit you, of course." Feng Ni Lan smiled.

"Grandma, I am here to see you." Wei Su Kee said.

"Mum, we will be having lunch together here. Su Kee, accompany Grandma for a while. I will go and help the maid to prepare the lunch." Feng Ni Lan decided. She then turned to her husband. "How about you? Are you staying for lunch?" 

"Hmm... That is good. I will stay. I will return to work after lunch." Wei Zichen nodded.

He already informed his secretary that he would be returning to the office after lunch. So, it was okay if he stayed over for lunch.

Wei Su Kee accompanied her grandmother. Her grandmother was not as energetic as before. In fact, her grandmother was barely responded to her talking. Her grandmother changed so much. 

After one hour later, the lunch was prepared. It was good timing as it was lunch hour. Feng Ni Lan informed her family to come to the dining room.

Wei Zichen supported his mother to the dining room. Feng Ni Lan frowned as she saw this. She did not think that her mother-in-law would be so weak and need someone to support her walking. 

"Mum, I cook your favourite. You need to eat a lot today." Feng Ni Lan said after everyone got their seats. 

"Hmm..." That was Nie Zhu Mei's response.

"They started eating. Feng Ni Lan put some food into her mother-in-law's bowl. 

Nie Zhu Mei looked at the food in front of her. 'This... This....' This was what she missed so much. She would not hold her tear. It fell on her cheek.

Everyone was surprised to see Ni Zhu Mei crying. They became panicked.

"Mum, what happened?"

"Mum, why are you crying?"

"Grandma?" 

Nie Zhu Mei looked at their faces. It contained worry and nervous. To think about, she never thought about this situation. Having family to eat together was very good. In the past, she took it as granted. 

After living alone and had not one to accompany her for her meal, it was very sad. She could not blame others. She was the one who destroying that luxury.
