Chapter 1746 1746: Resign

It was better to just send this woman to her destination and could pay. The fee that he would get at the end was a bit higher than his normal fee. Not to mention, this woman seemed pretty abnormal to him. 

They arrived at the gate entrance. The taxi had been forced to stop by the security guards. 

"You can not be allowed to enter unless you have the pa.s.s." The security guards said.

"I have it with me." Yu Qi stated.

"Please show it to us, Miss." The security guards stated.

Yu Qi took out a card and gave it to the security guard. The security guard checked the card and recognized Yu Qi.

"Oh, it is Ms Tang. It is a bit late to return home." The security immediately changed his tone.

"Hmm... I just returned from Capital City for a business trip." Yu Qi stated.

"I see... Oh, you can enter now." The security guard said.

"Thank you. Keep up the good work." Yu Qi said.

The taxi driver started driving and entering the residence complex. It was his first time driving into this kind of residence. 

"You can stop the car over there." Yu Qi stated.

The taxi driver did what Yu Qi ordered. Yu Qi paid for the fees. Before Yu Qi got out of the taxi, she said something to the taxi driver.

"Don't try to do something stupid that could ruin your life as well as your family. Think first before you want to do something in the future." Yu Qi advised.

Without waiting for any response, Yu Qi got out of the taxi. The taxi driver was silent for a moment. What the girl said was correct. What he wanted to do earlier was something stupid that could ruin his life. He was relieved that she stopped him. 

After that, the taxi driver drove out of the residence complex.

Yu Qi hoped that the taxi driver could not try to do something similar like this. She entered the lift and went up to the penthouse. Yu Qi unlocked the door and entered the house. It was dark. However, once she entered the room, she was pressed into the wall.

"Who are you?" Asked someone in the dark. 

"Brother Hui?" Yu Qi called the name.

"Qi Qi?" Long Hui was surprised.

He immediately released her. He went to turn on the light and returned back to Yu Qi's side.

"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" Long Hui checked Yu Qi's neck. 

"Don't worry. I am okay." Yu Qi stated.

"I am sorry. I thought someone had broken into our house. I don't think it will be you because you told me that you would be going to return tomorrow." Long Hui still felt bad for pressing his beloved Qi Qi to the wall.

"I decided to return home earlier to surprise you. You also told me that you had something to do tonight and would not be home. Why are you here?" Yu Qi asked.

"Then, we had the same thought." Long Hui grinned.

Both of them entered Yu Qi's s.p.a.ce together. Her little contracted beasts were happy to see Yu Qi but turned sour when they saw Long Hui was also there. They knew that their master would spend time with that man. 

Of course, Yu Qi wanted to spend the time with Long Hui.

So Pang Lim gave her resignation letter to her hospital. Her direct superior was surprised when So Pang Lim suddenly gave the resignation letter on her desk.

"Doctor So, are you serious about this?" Her direct superior asked.

"Yeah. I already made up my mind." So Pang Lim nodded.

"Are you resigning because of that person?" Her direct superior asked.

So Pang Lim just smiled not saying anything. Her direct superior was nice to her but her direct superior did not have much power to stop the hara.s.sment from that woman. 

"I understand." Her direct superior nodded and accepted the resignation letter. "Where will you work from now on?" 

"Oh, you already know about that? Hmm... I can say that I will work in the company. Not a hospital anymore." So Pang Lim stated.

"Of course, I know. You will not resign unless you already received a job offer. So, you are not going to work as a doctor anymore?" Her direct superior asked. 

"I will get a job in the R&D Department at a skincare company." So Pang Lim said.

"Oh, I see." Her direct superior nodded.

"I will go and clean up my room. Thank you for everything." So Pang Lim said and left the room.

Her direct superior sighed. Such a talented doctor had been driven away from her position. What a pity.

So Pang Lim entered her room and quickly cleaned up everything that belonged to her. She put them into one box. She did not have much belonging to begin with, so it was quite easy to clear everything. 

When she brought out the box, some people looked at her with surprise. 

"Doctor So, where are you going?" One of them asked while looking at the box.

"I am resigning today." So Pang Lim said.

"What?" Everyone was surprised when they heard that. 

So Pang Lim just smiled. In this workplace, there was no one that she could call friends. Everyone here bowed to the power and money. That was why she had not any regret resigning from this awful workplace.
