The man was left stunned at the boy's accurate facts and figures. Jacob was indeed speaking like a 50 year old man, who was experienced in business world. "Amazing! Mr Miller! For a second, I thought I am talking to your father!" The investor clapped for the boy and so did others in the hall.
Jacob smiled again, though internally he felt as if someone had just given him a strong emotional blow, right on his heart.
"Ahh! A friend advised me to wear my father's coat today! I guess, it is working!" Jacob chuckled again, making everybody go weak on their knees. The boy had very casually explained how deep his love was for his father and how much he was missing him.
Somebody from the media, stood up and took the microphone. "You are very strong man Mr. Miller! It is simply very inspiring to be here!" Jacob smiled looking at the lady, from the media. He smiled internally, as he knew letting the unpermitted reporters will only win their vote in his favour. This lady had attended the prestigious Miller Meet for the first time, covering it live and thus she was ecstatic about it.
"Well, thank you! But I just take inspiration from you all, who have been supportive all this while in the bad times!"
The hall errupted in another applause, when suddenly an elderly short heighted man, raised his hand and stood up. He had a stern look on his face, and looked rather ferocious.
"h.e.l.lo, Mr. Terrance!"
"Mr. Miller, don't you think, it is totally careless on your part having not attended your company for two months? Don't you think it was your duty to look after your investors! The shares have fallen apart and you were sitting at your home, leisurely!"
Everybody turned to look at the angry man. All the cameras, were now showing the close- ups of Jacob and then of the man, as if a war is going to strike! They all nervousely looked at the boy, who was carefully listening to the man's questions.
Meanwhile...
In contrast to everybody's reaction in the auditorium, Isa was giggling in happiness. This was the golden question which she had been waiting for. "Go for it my health freak!!"
