-Sitting in his room, the clock has already struck eleven a clock and Rin still wasn't asleep. There was something weighing on his mind, something he's been thinking about ever since the end of the tournament.
"Every battle I fouth thus far I either won with the help of lady luck or lost miserably..."
-He sat on the floor of his room, sharpening Kanas.h.i.+mi with the sharpening rock and thought of the events that had happened thus far.
-Becouse of what happened today with Finn and other times when he lost, he wasn't able to fall asleep no matter how hard he tried. The reason why he felt like this isn't becouse he lost it becouse he felt weak.
I trained so hand and yet I still ended up losing to Archer. I need to train more...
-He finished with sharpening Kanas.h.i.+mi and seethed it. Taking the blade in his hand, Rin left his room and locked it before heading out in the night covered by the dense moonlight.
-He walked for a while before arriving at the Schools outside P.E court. Even if the school was closed or it was night, the students were allowed to use it for personal gain only if its for sports or training.
-Holding two gigantic boulders in his arms, Rin came to the court and put them on the ground. For this kind of situation, the field was covered in lights from each side that gave the students who wanted to use the court a way of seeing what's around them, all thanks to Raikar's brilliant idea.
-Taking one of the boulders into his arms, Rin threw it in the air before catching it with his hands behind his back. The force of the impact that the falling boulder had pushed his body so much into the ground that it almost looked like his legs would break from not being able to endure it, but that wasn't the case. Even though it was a close call the only thing that broke was the ground underneath his feet.
-Holding it firmly behind his back he threw it into the air once more before catching the falling bolder again, but this time in front of him. His body pushed even harder, his legs started shaking from being too weak to endure the force of the impact, but even that didn't stop him. He threw it once again and slapped his legs to stop them from shaking before catching the balder again on his back.
-He continued doing this a hundred times, every time he thews the boulder harder and faster than the last time, and just barely he couth it without his legs giving out even once.
-After finis.h.i.+ng with that he took the other bolder and placed both of them in front of him. Taking a deep breath, Rin slapped himself and with a face of sheer determination punched the boulders.
-Releasing his grip he jabbed his fingers into them and took a tight grip. Straining his muscles to the absolute limit he pulled up the bolder with nothing but his shear strength. If I would say one of them would approximately weigh around two hundred kilos.
-His face showed just in how much pain he was in, he continued and pulled his arms sideways and one arm at the time he started punching in front of him.
-One hundred times, that was the bear minimum be had to do. Even if his hands were shaking, even if his fingers started bleeding he still continued to do it.
-After the hundredth punch he let go of the boulders painted in his blood and stabbed one of them with kanas.h.i.+mi, picked it up with one hand while with the other he once again kicked up the other boulder and balanced it on his hand.
-With one hand he held the boulder in perfect balance and the other he swung Kanas.h.i.+mi, first pulling it up and then strongly pulling it back down, but not allowing it to hit the ground even once.
And he did this motion until fail, for the next two hours until he couldn't lift his hand anymore.
"Two hundred ninety-eight... weak!"
-Gripping Kanas.h.i.+mi, He released all of his strength and perfectly cut the bolder in two while not even touching the dust on the ground.
"Now that the warm-ups are done, its time for training to begin!"
-Closing his eyes he listened to the sounds surrounding him, blocking everything except his sense of hearing he concentrated on the wind and the direction it was coming from.

-This is a way of training Alexander though him back in the OverWorld. He blocks out every sense except hearing and concentrates on the sounds around him, imagining them to be objects he has to train with.
"There..."
-Every time he heard the sound of the wind he cut it with utmost precision and accuracy. Hearing multiple sounds from all sorts of directions, even if it were crickets singing, leaves falling or the light twitching, he would swing his sword in that direction at the same time as he heard it.
"There!"
"Swing!"
"There!"
"Swing!"
"There, there, there!!!"
-In order to grow stronger as a swordsman, Rin decided to go back to the ways Alexander used to teach him. Strong men training to build up your muscles and strength, followed by practice swings where you use your imagination to create the enemies you fight.
-As time pa.s.sed he became faster and adjusted to the sounds, he coud counter them at the precise moment they were made, so now it was time to step up the training.
-To make it even harder he decided to imagine that the sound he heard had a physical form, an "Arrow" heading his way about to Pea.r.s.e his body and end his life.
-His job was to detect where the "Arrow" was coming from, dodge it and right after to destroy it. This made his training way more difficult as he needed to dodge and counter with multiple "Arrows" at the same time. But it was very effective as he trained his body to move better and avoid moving projectiles.
"There!"
"swing!"
"d.a.m.n!"
"Swing, Swing, Swing, Swing, Swing!"
-An "Arrow" from every direction was hard to dodge, it required compete and other concentration as well as no place for fear or doubt inside of him. Even if they were just a figment of his imagination they coud be deadly if he messes up and imagines he actually got hit by a real arrow. His brain would prosses the pain as real even if it wasn't.
-Controlling his fear and emotions completely he didn't lose focus or mess up even once, Rin dodged every "Arrow" that headed his way and sliced it immediately. It wasn't long before even this became easy for him, so he raised the difficulty once again.
-Simply dodging and countering flying objects wasn't enough, he needed more of a challenge and so, he made one. While the swarm of "Arrows" still continued to fly his way, Tall, covered in black smoke from head to tow, man-shaped suits of armor appeared, armed with European long swords they started their chare at him.
-Swinging their blades at him, Rin needed to focus on two separate targets and both avid and counter them. And it was easily said difficult for him. When Alexander thought him this way of training and up until now he only imagined one enemy who he faced one on one, or like before a moving object which he needed to dodge and counter. This is the first time he's doing this many enemies at the same time.
-He was put in a situation in which he needed to make a decision on the spot and it better be the right one, he couldn't just rely on his senses, he needed his reflexes and the way they were right now, they were of no use to him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
-Failing to deflect one of the knights, he got hit by his sword from the back. Even if he had good reflexes they were to say at best standard, noting special to a master of their own art. What he needed, what he south for were reflexes that coud sense ten bullets flying at him from all directions at the ten-mile radius, simply said un human reflexes.
-Along with inhuman reflexes he also trained to achieve strength which will allow him to cut an entire mountain in half but not damage the surrounding area, endurance to fight long battles, speed to avoid and counter his enemies and new techniques that could take his enemies off guard.
"d.a.m.n it, I messed up!"
-He took a deep breath and slapped himself a few times before he closed his eyes again end entered the state of training. Listening to the sound that surrounded him, Rin began his visualization again and continued at the same point where he left off.
"This time, full concentration and attention are on the situation in front of me!"
-A swarm of arrows coming from above, two knights from the back, one up front, and three from the left. His brain worked like a computer, and his legs moved like never before up until now. He ducked and dodged the "Arrows" while cutting the entire swarm with once swing, followed with the two knights behind him who he cut of their legs and beheaded them.
-The one knight up front pulled up his sword and dragged it downwards to do the same to him, while the other three prepared their swords to stab him. Pulling up Kanas.h.i.+mi Rin destroyed the sword headed for his head and jumped over the knight avoiding the three knights wanting to pears him.
-While still in the air he rotated his body and cut the knight in half before landing. Right after the knight fell the three others rushed at him, one from each direction but moving like water he went past them while silently and gently touching their bodies with Kanas.h.i.+mi.
"Long sword style: Wyvern Flow!"
-Cutting the knights like they were b.u.t.ter, not even a sound was heard as he did it, but in fact, a sound was heard, a sound of a wind blowing stronger and Rin not seeing it coming, he messed up again and got hit by a knight that appeared at that moment.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
-Once again he messed up, with another sound came another enemy and he wasn't good enough to see it coming, not yet at least.
"d.a.m.n, Again!"
-As long as it took, as long as he didn't get the grip of it he continued to train, and before he knew it, it was already morning. His body covered in both blood and sweat was shaking and unable to move any further, Rin spent the past six hours training and unfortunately, he still wasn't able to come even closer to achieving what he south for.
"Huh! huh! huh! thirty-nine times, I messed up thirty-nine times today. But one thing is certain, and that is that Rome wasn't built in one day, or in this case... a single night."
-He took Kanas.h.i.+mi and sheathed it. Time being four forty-five, Rin decided to stop training for today and made his way back to the dorm, but what he didn't notice was a person observing him from the shadows for the past hour.
-After returning, the first thing he did was take a warm shower. His body was sweaty and covered in blood, even started to stink so a shower was in order.
-Closing the water and starting to dry up his body, he looked at the mirror on the wall. When taking a closer look at it he noticed how his eyes had bags under them, and that was nothing strange. He spent the entire night training, even if he had his eyes closed for most of the time he was still wide awake.
"I guess I'm going with gla.s.ses today."
-Taking a black s.h.i.+rt and a pair of jeans from his closet, Rin put them on followed by his gla.s.ses that Miss. Mai gave him.
-It was now Five thirty and time for him to make himself lunch, becouse Finn comes to pick him up in the morning they go together in the cafeteria and get breakfast there. And for lunch, Rin makes his own in the morning while Finn buys it at the cafeteria.
"There, a cheese omelet with a fruit salad... I'm gonna get yelled at again, what can I do I like what I like."
-He put his lunch in a bento box and packed it in his school bag together With Kanas.h.i.+mi. Taking weapons in school is forbidden by the rules but after pulling some strings he made Matthew allow him to carry it with him but he's not allowed to use it until he leaves the building.
"Ding, dong!"
"Must be Finn."
-As he said, it was Finn. He took his stuff, locked the door and made his way to school. On his way there he kept an eye on the students around him in hopes of spotting Haruto, but that didn't happen. He was nowhere to bee seen.
"What's with you, you've been looking around for a while now?"
"It's nothing, lets hurry we'll be late."
-just barely making it in time before the swarm of students came to the cafeteria, they managed to eat their breakfast in peace and go to cla.s.s normally.
-While walking towards their cla.s.sroom they heard students whispering something to each other while having disgusting expressions on their faces. It seems some gossip found its way to the school overnight.
"You know what that's about?"
"No clue."
-Deciding to ignore it, they entered the cla.s.sroom, sat at their desks and talked until Matthew arrived, But before he coud, another person entered the cla.s.sroom. A beautiful girl with red hair and crimson red eyes. Her ears and nose full of piercings and wearing a white blouse, leaving it open so she coud show off her chest and a skirt so short if you looked at a precise angle you coud see her underwear.
-She had all the eyes on here, both the boys and girls. And for some reason when he saw here, Rin's chest started beating harder and harder, putting his hand on it and trying to stop it he found himself confused by the feeling that got over him.
"W-whar is this filing, just who is she?"
