Returning everyone to the new city, and getting Rupert and Alfred over to the human city, Aella jumped to the library with Bridgette.

"Okay, let's start moving books," Aella said, rubbing her hands together.

"Take Felix and his things over first, while I figure out what you need to move in what order," said Bridgette, looking around.

Aella nodded, and quickly jumped Felix and all of his things to the new library. Alfred had already moved the people out, so she could start moving the books in. Once Bridgette found out that Aella could move the entire shelf, without having to unload all of the books, moving the library went much faster. When Aella finally moved over Bridgette, Bridgette couldn't believe how big this library was. It was easily ten times as big.

"I was thinking the books could be protected on upper levels, and you could have this lower level for students to study or gather for meetings," said Aella, looking around at the empty lower level of the building.

"Thank you so much, Aella! I have so much to do!" exclaimed Bridgette, climbing the stairs to the first of three levels.

"I have a lot to do, too. I'll see you later!" laughed Aella, teleporting back to the palace to start moving everyone and everything else.

She couldn't believe how much furniture was in the palace. Luckily, the new castle had plenty of room for it all. The servants were tired and barely awake when she moved them over, as it was still the middle of the night when she got to them. A large wooden cupboard in the palace kitchen was the hardest thing to move. After it was in the new castle, the head cook was amazed.

"I can't believe you were able to move that!" he said, rus.h.i.+ng over and opening the door.

"Why?" she asked confused. "It was heavier than I thought it should be."

"That's because it is the source of all of the food we got magically in the palace. I didn't think it would be able to be brought over since this castle isn't magic, like the palace is."

She looked at the cupboard for a moment, then shrugged. "When the palace collapses, it may stop working, but until then, go ahead and use it."

He nodded excitedly and shut the doors carefully before returning to bed.

Teleporting to the treasury, Aella looked around. Everything here was magically contained within chests. She knew she had no interest in taking the cursed chest. It could be destroyed when the crystals exploded. The rest of the chests she wanted to take. She figured her room would be perfect for them, but she wasn't sure how to move them. If the magical cupboard was heavy, she didn't have a prayer of moving these things!

"Mind if I help?" came a voice behind her.

Aella spun around, going down in a crouch, ready to attack or defend, depending on who was standing behind her.

"These are some amazing chests!" said the human man standing beside her. His brown hair was normal for a human, but his eyes were not. One eye glowed blue, while the other glowed gold.

"Who are you? And how did you get in here?" she asked. No one was supposed to be able to get into the treasury without her bringing them.

"Oh, who I am is unimportant," he chuckled, clasping his hands behind his back. "As for how I got in here, the magic keeping people out is only on the door. If someone can teleport, they have no problems getting in."

"But you can't teleport somewhere you've never been…" she said, shaking her head.

"For most people, that's true," he agreed, looking around again. "So, did you want my help or not?"

"Help doing what?" she asked, squinting at him in suspicion. If someone could get in here without her help, then they were probably more powerful than her, and she didn't really want to risk a fight just at the moment.

"Moving these chests, of course. I only have a short while before your realm get's annoyed with me. The baby tree likes me because of my wife, but that will only placate the realm for so long."

Licking her lips, Aella had a pretty good idea who this was, and backpedaled several feet. Not that the distance would help much if this person really was who she thought he was.

Chuckling, he motioned to the chicken treasure chest. "I want that for payment. If you really want to keep the mimic, I'll let you, but he is doing a fantastic job running that little dimension."

Aella glanced back at the chest, thinking fast. If he took it, then there wouldn't be a source of extra food, should she need it.

"I can leave the extra food in one of the other chests. The chickens don't need that much. Oh, and did you want me to move Frank and Louie to the new castle, too?" he asked.

"All for the chickens?" she asked, confused.

"I've greatly enjoyed watching their development. The rune KNOWLEDGE has been very pleased with them."

"Alright," she said quickly, nodding. "For the cost of the chicken chest and everything in it except the extra food, you will move the other chests to my room in the new castle, and Frank and Louie as well. But I don't want the cursed chest moved. When the castle is destroyed, I'm hoping it destroys the chest as well."

"There's some interesting things in that chest, but I can understand where you're going with this. Do you mind if I also take a sample of the energy crystals? I may have an idea that I can play around with, if you let have one."

"Of course," she said, nodding again. Who was she to tell a G.o.d no??

"Very good then. I believe you should be moving along to gather your group for searching out the rest of your people? I could help with that, but teleporting people around gets very tedious," he said, cracking his knuckles.

Without a second thought, Aella teleported back to the human city. Rubbing her arms down, from the chill she had from meeting Joseph, she looked for Rupert and Alfred. No one would believe her, so there was no reason to try and tell them.

Rupert was just finis.h.i.+ng the last row of houses, and had stopped to talk with Alfred. Teleporting next to them, she saw the humans moving their things into their new homes.

"I've made enough houses for each family, but I'll need to come back and make shops and other buildings. For now, I think they're good," said Rupert when she joined them.

"Did you find anyone who caught your eye?" Aella asked, trying to forget what had just happened with her.

"I spoke with a number of women who were interested in meeting me again," he said with a wide grin.

"Since you're here, does that mean you've finished with the palace already?" asked Alfred, glancing back at the library.

"Yep, it didn't take me nearly as long as I thought it would. I'm ready to take you two back to the new city, and get together a group to start searching for people back in the old kingdom," said Aella.

"Aella, have you considered naming your new city?" asked Alfred. "It gets a bit tedious constantly referring to it as the new city. I think your people would have a better time falling in love with their new home, if it had a catchy new name."

"Why? Did you have something in mind?" she asked, completely thrown off. That was not something that had occurred to her.

"Not really, but I've been thinking of that for a while," Alfred said.

"Oh! What about Newton?" asked Rupert. "You know, like new town, just put together."

"Newton?" asked Aella. "I don't know. That seems kind of generic. This is going to be the capital, after all."

"That's true," said Rupert thoughtfully.

"What about Paradise?" asked Alfred, jokingly.

"Paradise?" she asked.

"Yeah, you know. Everyone always wants to go to paradise?" he said.

"I don't know, that seems kind of cheesy," she said with a shake of her head. "I'll think about it. Let's go."

Teleporting them to the new city, she sent Alfred off to gather everyone at the castle, while she left Rupert to check on her room. Each ledge in her room held a chest. On the very bottom floor, where her bed was, she saw a giant egg laying in the very middle of the bed. Reaching out to touch it, the egg gave a slight wobble.

Jerking her hand back, she looked around. What was this? She didn't remember there being an egg in the treasury! Would it ruin her white fur that she had spread over her bed, when it hatched? Deciding not to risk ruining it, Aella teleported the fur out from under the egg and draped it over one of the chests higher up.

A loud crack rang out and she teleported next to the bed to see a familiar face peek out of the cracked sh.e.l.l.

"Louie? Frank?"
