Locking the restaurant, w.a.n.g Ming then hurried to the meat shop to get more pork belly. On the way w.a.n.g Ming couldn't help but smile when he thought about how well the restaurant did, on the opening day. He didn't think that the restaurant would do this great and was ready to hit flies while waiting for customers.

Since few restaurants did well on their opening days with no advertis.e.m.e.nts and marketing. w.a.n.g Ming figured it down to two factors, the first was the food, the great smell and taste. The second which isn't any less important than the first, which is the restaurant location. w.a.n.g Ming were sure that if his restaurant only sold "Ok" or even worse bad food, he would have still gotten a good number of customers today. Though there wouldn't be many of them who would return, if his food was bad.

But seeing how many people that enjoyed his food today, w.a.n.g Ming felt certain that there would be many of the customers that would come back, maybe not tomorrow but some day. One great thing, about having so many happy customers today, is that they will recommend w.a.n.g Ming's restaurant to their friends and family. Which could bring him a lot of new customers and was a free advertis.e.m.e.nt for the restaurant.

Arriving at the meat shop, w.a.n.g Ming saw that there was a delivery car in front of Uncle Weng's shop. Which he found odd, as people deliver goods in the morning or at night since people, needed goods at the morning to sell, or get it at night to sell the day after. Peeking at the boxes the delivery men were running, w.a.n.g Ming saw that they were delivering different meats, but 8 out of 10 boxes was pork belly.

Which made him excited because it meant that w.a.n.g Ming didn't need to worry about Uncle Weng not having enough meat for him, at least for a few days, unless he had another big customer which also needed pork belly. There were at least 30 boxes of pork belly, each weighing about 44 pounds each (20kgs).

Seeing the deliverymen working so hard, w.a.n.g Ming waited for them to get done before entering the shop. But right before he could enter the shop, w.a.n.g Ming saw that the door of the shop flung open and Uncle Weng running out of the shop. Then spotting w.a.n.g Ming, Uncle Weng went up to him and gave him a bear hug while saying.

"Congratulations w.a.n.g Ming, I heard about your success. And I'm sorry."

Hearing Weng Ping congratulate him, then say sorry the second after. w.a.n.g Ming couldn't understand what was happening and why he would apologize to him.

"Don't apologize to me Uncle Weng. You haven't done me any wrong, the meat last time was great."

"No, no, I'm not apologizing about that. One of my customers told me about your restaurant. They first told me about how great it was doing already on the first day. But they also told me about the complications that happened during the grand opening [1]. That filthy nephew of mine, he brought his bad friend to trouble you. If you didn't have a powerful friend, then I think you would be in prison being beat up and not here."

"I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you good and well with no injuries. This is also why I put in a haste order for a lot of pork belly. I heard about how well your restaurant did. Think of it as my compensation to you. You will not have to worry about the meat supply anymore. I will supply you with all the meat you need."

w.a.n.g Ming didn't blame Weng Ping at all for what Weng Ting did. It wasn't his fault that Weng Ting was like that. So he didn't accept Weng Ping's apology, but he appreciated Weng Ping's intention. Especially the fact that he wouldn't need to think about his meat source anymore.

"Thank you, Uncle Weng. But don't apologize to me, it isn't your fault."

Seeing Weng Ping wanting to say something to refute him, w.a.n.g Ming followed up with.

"It isn't your fault! Many people get influenced a lot by their friends. Weng Ting was great friends with Bo Hou Zhang that degenerate, so this was probably where he got all his bad habits from. Let's not talk about this anymore and let me inspect the meat, pay and take it with me. I need 200 pounds of pork belly today."

Contemplating about what w.a.n.g Ming had just said, Weng Ping thought about it for a bit. Before accepting that there was nothing he could do for Weng Ting anymore. Weng Ting didn't even see him as an uncle anymore, it was time to let go of him.

Nodding at w.a.n.g Ming, Weng Ping then went into the restaurant to ready the meat for w.a.n.g Ming.

w.a.n.g Ming could have bought a large amount of meat, enough to last him multiple days. Especially since he had the card, he got from Bo Hou Zhang with 1 million yuan and the 88888 yuan he got from Peng Tong. But the cooler and freezer were much better at Weng Ping's place was much better than at w.a.n.g Ming's restaurant. Since they made the freezer here for only one purpose to keep meat fresh the longest time possible.

Buying daily from Weng Ping's shop also ensured that w.a.n.g Ming could check the quality each time he bought, and would make it easy for him to replace the subpar meat.

While waiting for Weng Ping to finish, w.a.n.g Ming thought about what new dish he could introduce to the restaurant. He wouldn't come out with this dish until at least 1-2 more months depending on how the restaurant were doing. Since w.a.n.g Ming wanted to ride out the hype of his braised pork dish, before introducing a new one. If the restaurant also did well, he would have to buy more seats and tables. Also hire more workers, which was the biggest restriction for w.a.n.g Ming's restaurant.

w.a.n.g Ming had calculated it he could at most do 200-300 pounds of meat a day. Which would get him an earning of roughly 500-800 thousand yuan a month which would calculate to 6-9 million yuan a year. Which is fantastic more than anything he had ever dreamt off. But that would mean he would average, maybe 2-3 hours of sleep every day. Since it would take him roughly 10 hours to make all the food.

Then he would have to be awake and manage the restaurant until closing, which could be anywhere from 4 to 8 hours. If it was 8, then that would be 18 hours of the day after this he would need to buy all the ingredients, and finish all other business he had before sleeping some hours and start making food. w.a.n.g Ming didn't think that this was a workable solution at all but he didn't want to hire a new chef either. Since he didn't want to share all his secrets to an outsider, so until w.a.n.g Ming found a solution for it he would need to sacrifice his sleep.

Hearing Weng Ping call him from inside the food shop, w.a.n.g Ming stopped his thoughts for now and went inside the shop. Coming inside he saw 5 boxes stacked up next to the counter. w.a.n.g Ming couldn't help it but feel impressed by Weng Ping's strength if he had carried all the boxes. He looked to be 50 close to 60 years old, carrying all the boxes by himself was definitely difficult.

"Uncle Weng, I have a card here just charge 50 thousands yuan from it. Then you can supply me a fixed amount of 200 pounds daily unless I specify anything different. But you should always have enough meat in case I need 300 or 400 pounds."

Then w.a.n.g Ming gave Weng Ping the card he had gotten from Bo Hou Zhang. But what w.a.n.g Ming didn't expect was that the card were declined. w.a.n.g Ming felt embarra.s.sed for being naïve and being fooled so easily by Bo Hou Zhang. w.a.n.g Ming even c.o.c.kily said to Weng Ping to charge 50 thousand yuan from the card, he couldn't help but get red in his face.

Coughing to calm himself down, w.a.n.g Ming then took out 50 thousand yuan from the red packet he had gotten from Peng Tong. He didn't want to use the money at all, but w.a.n.g Ming felt like he couldn't tell Weng Ping that Bo Hou Zhang had scammed him and he didn't have any money. Taking the 50 thousands he then reluctantly gave the money to Weng Ping and said.

"Sorry Uncle Weng I took the wrong card, but here's cash instead I hope you don't mind!"

After talking a bit more, w.a.n.g Ming then made his way towards the other shops in the market. But now he felt irritated and his mood was at an all-time low. He could only promise himself to never get scammed so easily again and check the card via internet/application on his phone. w.a.n.g Ming would also get revenge on Bo Hou Zhang someday.
