A year pa.s.sed slowly, Chun Tao's body had developed, even more, she looked like a true adult now. Her face was smooth, her hair silky and her body was filled with curves, her beauty was only lower to that of Han Qiang.

Zhu Long also looked different, he had cut him hair to a shorter length and let his beard grow. He felt pretty happy with his current looks as he looked more mature and older with a beard.

"Child, since you're so bored, why don't we do some combat training. Zhu Long won't train you, I shall!" Old Yang laughed as he clicked his finger, not even letting Chun Tao Answer.

Zhu Long nodded and put his left hands up, where a small dagger formed. With his left hand, Zhu Long took out Phoenix Cry, he was holding both sword and dagger, one in each hand. His posture was that of a battle posture, ready for anything that would come his way.

"Chun Tao, You defeat the Imps. I'll be training on my own. I'm sure that you are now powerful enough to defeat them. I was going to help you but it seems like the plans have changed, I defeated the imps when I was weaker than you. You, being at the 4th Nascent stage have surpa.s.sed be when I was your age... So you better show up your master and defeat the puppet imps!" Zhu Long said as he unsheathed this sword. the dagger, also dissipated from his palm.

Chun Tao looked towards Zhu Long and continued to pout. "But....Hmm!" She looked angry but she tried to calm down. Zhu Long smiled and threw his sword to her, the one that he took from the guard. "Take this."

Chun Tao looked towards Zhu Long with a face of confusion. Zhu Long smiled back, "Girl, I know that you haven't been meditating when I was practicing my aura control. You were watching me practice using the sword and the dagger. You're smart enough to pick up a few movers or at least imitate them. Go for it. If you defeat these imps using the swords, your reward will be freedom out of here. If not, practice till you get good enough to get out." Zhu Long said as he sat down on a nearby rock.

"Well, enough talk. Let us begin!" Old Yang said in an aggressive manner. Zhu Long shook his head, 'I still don't understand why he changes forms like that. One moment, he is kind the next, he is rough and angry, Well, I guess it's good for training.'

Chun Tao Looked towards the imp with a hint of surprise, "I've killed them before, just with the help of master... I can do this." She said to her self as he tightly grasped the sword. *Swoos.h.!.+* An imp breezes by Chun Tao, who gets a small cut of her arm.

Zhu Long took a deep breath and continued watching. There were 7 imps, just like when Zhu Long battled them, the power of the imps gradually increased as the number of defeated imps increased. Hence, the more imps killed, the remaining became more powerful.

Chun Tao shook her head and said, "concentrate!" She built up her qi and propelled herself towards the imp, slicing towards it, with all her might!.*Bang!*

Debris flew into the air, her strike hadn't landed, she hit a rock! "Huh?!" Chun Tao looked shocked when she realized that her strike didn't connect.

"NO! GIRL, YOU NEED TO BE LOOSE! YOU AREN'T LOOSE ENOUGH! YOUR FORM WAS PERFECT BUT YOUR FOOTWORK AND YOUR HANDS WERE TIGHT, LIMITING YOUR SPEED. REMEMBER, POWER IS LESS IMPORTANT THAT SPEED, YOU ONLY NEED A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF POWER TO PENETRATE A BODY, BUT YOU NEED A LOT OF SPEED TO REACH THE BODY. NOW, DO IT AGAIN! YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH TO COPU THAT MOVE FROM MEMORY THAT MEANS THA YOU ARE ALSO SMART ENOUGH TO DO IT PROPERLY!" Zhu Long's tone was harsh but he meant well.

Chun Tao was very surprised by Zhu Long's sudden outburst but she nodded, "master Has high expectancies." She said as she looked towards the ground, closing her eyes. She remembered the motions of Zhu Long vividly and tried to play that again and again in her mind. 

She did this as she followed the imp, only by sensing it's qi. After playing the motion in her mind a countless amount of times, Chun Tao smiled and struck towards the Imp, this time, her attack looked simple, not even a speck of air moved by her attack but as soon as she slashed her sword, the imam fell towards the ground, split in half, not even knowing that it was killed till it was too late. 

"Perfect." Zhu Long said to himself as he watched. He could vividly see the movements, 'Like the wind, unaffected but dangerous. Lotus Strike, first.' Zhu Long thought to himself. 

"Master I did I…", before Chun Tao could finish her words, Old Yang's demonic voice filled the s.p.a.ce, "Now the real fun begins!"

Suddenly, the remaining 6 Imps all attacked Chun tao at the same time. Chun Tao's test had finally truly begun!
