The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 105 - 105 Breaking Her Walls

October's mind went blank a second time and her whole face was burning hot to the extent that there were steam coming out of her pretty face. It was literally making her dizzy.

At this intense confession that she had unexpectedly heard from Lexus and even proudly declared it in front of so many people, including his own mother, this was like an explosive bomb she had no defense with. For a cold and indifferent person like her who does not have an ounce of emotion and expression, this was something totally different. 

At this moment, that foreign feeling she had felt the first time they meet and on everytime she was with him now came cras.h.i.+ng into her like a torrential storm, drowning her in the sea warmth. It was not painful and she does not feel suffocated.

Well, it was supposed to be like this right? In October's case, a woman with the lowest of low EQ needed a strong and blunt feeling from a man like Lexus. His straightforwardness regarding his feelings for her was the only force that can break her high and thick walls that she had unknowingly put up to others. 

Lexus leaned down and gently tilted her chin up to look at him with his cold and slender fingers that sent s.h.i.+vers down October's spine. He looked at the unfocused eyes of October and her blus.h.i.+ng face and his eyes immediately dilated. A hard thump was felt in his chest and his throat run dry. This...this was certainly killing him and his self-control was running wild and wanted to go on a rampage. 

There was a voice in him telling him to devour her this instantly, and it was eating away all of his self-control. At this moment, all he can see was this stunning woman in front of him with her face just inches away from his. He stared intensely at her with his burning and peircing gaze. 

Ehem!

"!!!" Both October and Lexus instantly returned to reality. They then mechanically turned their heads toward the sound where it came from. They forgot! They totally, completely forgot that they were in the presence of someone else. What was more was that it was not only in front of Mother Song but also to the butlers and maids. In the faces that they were wearing, Lexus and even October, who was quite a little dense with feelings until sometime ago, can see their embarra.s.sed red faces but were staring unblinkingly at them.

They were clearly looking forward to what will happen next! They were eagerly waiting for the next actions their young master will to their young madam. Ahh~ 

The young maidens sighed in antic.i.p.ation at this "love story" unfolding in their very own eyes. What's more, the main "actor" as devilishly handsome and the "actress" was a stunningly gorgeous and one could say that they were a "heaven-defying" power couple. Leaving that aside, this was a real-life loving couple ah! The maids were looking at them with bright eyes.

Mother Song giggled at this sight. Seeing her stupid son and lovely daughter-in-law looking so embarra.s.sed to the extent of not being able to react immediately, it was really a sight to behold. 

Lexus was the first one to regain his composure as he dryly cleared his throat and straightened himself. He then casually walked and sat next to October and automatically wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her toward him, making October yelped in surprise. 

Hearing her cute yelp, Lexus turned to October's surprised face. His eyes turned a darker shade as he raised his elegant eyebrow. The look that his wife was showing was somehow making him want to tease her more. 

While Lexus was acting normally as if nothing awkward  just happened a minute ago, October was not doing good. Although her face still red and showed a slight shock, deep down inside, she was dying to get out of this room that were filled with burning gazes. She wanted to run away from here and find a hole to crawl into. She was utterly embarra.s.sed at her actions. For someone so emotionless and expressionless like her, she now knew that she could not control her emotions in front of this man, her husband. 

October have already encountered a lot of stressful works and overcame pressure from her superiors. Even if she was under those circ.u.mstances, she had delt with it with more ease. However, to face the handsome Lexus and receive his overwhelming affection and care, she really does not know how to face it rather than do what her gut was telling her, what her heart was pus.h.i.+ng her to do. Of course, doing this kind of thing was a first to her. Even if she had experienced to have a boyfriend before, she was never faced with this kind of attention and she had never felt this kind of feeling to a man other than Lexus. 

October was actually pretty scared to do such reckless things like following what her heart was telling her, but there really was nothing else for her to do than to follow it, especially since Lexus was the father of the child she was carrying. All she can do now was to see this through the end, right?

With her newfound resolve, October looked at Lexus with unwavering and serious gaze, making Lexus to be taken aback for a moment. However, looking at her determined look, Lexus' usually wicked look flashed a soft and gentle smile as he put a hand on October's head and landed a quick and sweet kiss on her hair. 

October was caught off guard at his sudden intimate action. As if not seeing that her face was already as red as tomato due to humiliation, he had even kissed right here and then. How thick-skinned was he to do this in front of his own mother?! She was completely and utterly flabbergasted. Pursing her lips, she pinched his side but the man did not even flinch for a moment as if the pain was nothing, like it was just a bite of a mosquito.

"Son, would it hurt you if you are not going to show flirting in front of your mother?" Mother Song exclaimed, feigning anger in voice when her eyes are sparkling with mischief and her lips curling up into a smirk. However, she was greatly surprised to see such a soft expression from her usually cold and grumpy son. Her daughter-in-law really is a gem ah! Not only pretty, strong, and educated, she was even a pure person who can influence her son to this extent. Hopefully, her on's ruthlessness won't rub off her. Somehow, she was feeling worried.

"Mother, if you don't want to see more, then the door is open for you to leave." Lexus smirked evilly at her mother as he said this indifferently, the soft look he had while looking at October vanished in a blink of an eye like it never even happened.
