The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 110 - 110 Dangerous But Cool

Mother Song looked at her son apathetically. However, there were still a small smile hanging on her lips. Well, it could not be helped since her usually stupidly handsome yet cold son looked so funny with rice on his face. She coughed dryly to hide her laughter as soon as she glanced at her son's dark face. She then looked at her phone and grinned widely. 

That's right! The merciless CEO of Heaven Company have rice all over his jade-like face. Just that, right now, his face was not white jade...but black jade instead. 

Mother Song raised an eyebrow as she looked at her son then to her daughter-in-law then back to her son. She then started eating her food that her kind daughter-in-law served her as she looked at the couple in front of her in relish. Actually, she wanted to help salvage the situation but, one thing or another, she was looking forward to what will this new wife of her son will do in this situation. Will she be angry? Scared? Runaway then divorce her son? Well, if something like that really happen, then she will step in...just that, she hoped that it will not be too late. 

In this heavy of a pressure in the large dining hall, a soft clicking of utensils was the only sound that can be heard as Mother Song silently watched the "play" that will be played in front of her. Now, what will their reactions be? She's looking forward to it.

October who was silent for a while looked at Lexus' dark and ominous look that can be pa.s.sed as a devil's face. That was how gravely angry he was for this. 

However, much to everyone's surprise, October chuckled ever so softly. It was brief but that laugh tickled Lexus' soul. He turned to her with his still angry face as if he was about to kill someone. He was sure that his face look so grave right now that will make them crumble in fear, but the though of October acting like so hurt him. Fortunately, that one chuckle broke all of his piled-up worries. In front of him was a smiling October looking straight at him without showing any hint of fear.

"I don't want to apologize for this because you were the one who teased me so much. This is a reminder for you to never do this again." October softly said with her voice sounding like a breeze of cold yet gentle wind, soothing and just outright relaxing. She then grabbed her table napkin and helped Lexus wipe those rice off his dazzling face. 

Lexus was so stiff at first but soon relaxed as he let himself be "pampered" like this by his wife. This does not come around often so he will take advantage of this moment and make the most of it. He remained still and obedient like a "good child" he was. 

At this moment, the two were so close with each other that their faces were only a foot away from the tip of their noses. Yet the two was not at all feeling awkward or shy about their closeness as they immersed themselves in their own little world making the maids and butlers in the dining hall let out a long sigh of relief. 

Thank goodness! Their young master have finally calmed down and his dark look had now somewhat fading and was returning to normal. They wanted to cry out in praise at their savior, their young madam, who was able to "tame" their ferocious demon-like boss. Ah~ If they don't have their young madam now, they might probably have to find another job instantly.

Once again, the maids and butlers' respect to their young madam have increased significantly. They would never forget this favor, definitely. October, the one who these people look up to, had no idea that her small talk with Lexus earned her a great deal of respect from them.

"Though I have to say that your face is really handsome that it would always mesmerize me to speechlessness. You look good if you have a smile on your face and your deep blue eyes flash a dazzling light; however, I also like your dark and "dangerous" side because I really find it cool and majestic." October mumbled absentmindedly as she finished wiping Lexus' face. Her face don't have that smile on her face now but her gaze was still soft and warm. She looked over his entire face until their eyes locked and in those eyes showed a hint of surprise.

Why was he looking at her like that? Did she say something wrong? October wondered.

"So you like my dark side too because you find it...cool?" Lexus slowlt said in his deep and gruff voice as his eyes with full of amus.e.m.e.nt. "Is this a continuation of your confession a while ago? Hm?" 

Ah!

October's eyes widened a little in shock. That was a slip of the tongue. Just that, she had already said that for all to hear so it seemed that she had to remain cool and not show a hint of uneasiness. Yes, she will be just fine.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She nonchalantly said as she turned around to face her food and started eating, ignoring the burning gaze of Lexus.

Lexus chuckled in amus.e.m.e.nt at October who was trying to deny what she ha just said and acted innocent and all. However, seeing her like that made him smile softly and his stare at her was gentle and full of doting. He then shrugged it off and started eating while peeking at October from time to time.

The dinner had fortunately ended without further incident. Everything turned back to normal, making the attendants to relax themselves and breath more comfortably.

"Dear, you were not able to find something of your liking for your wedding dress. However, fret not, I will help you in finding dream gown, okay? Tell me ah! Don't hold back and just tell me anything." Mother Song gently said good-naturedly while holding her daughter-in-law's hands. All of a sudden, she gasped as if she had just a wonderful idea.

"Oh! How about going shopping this weekend? It might help you in visualizing your gown, you know? Gos.h.!.+ This is exciting! It's like a dream that I will be shopping with my daughter. My! Weekend, yes? Yes it is. Okay, goodnight deary. I'll see you tomorrow. Don't stay up too late you two." Mother Song teasingly said with a wink and a knowing smile. After that, she whisked away and into her room which was located on the other end of the hall.
