As soon as Lexus stepped out of the elevator with October in his arms, all eyes focused on him. They weere shocked a second time. First was how fast the man was for all they know, it was not long before the man went up the elevator. Second was this!

A woman was securely held close in his chest. They could immediately tell that the woman fainted due to the lack of reponse from her, well at least that was what it would seem to them. 

Despite all this, the man seemed to carry a murderous aura in him followed by a heavy pressure towering over them. They could not look straight at the man for they were to scared to do it in fear of getting themselves killed. 

Even though they knew that Lexus' steps were hurried, it was quite slow for them. It was so slow and every step he took seemed so loud and echoing throughout the lobby, never forgetting to grip their hearts to ashes. They prayed so hard to make this demon-like existence out of the building because they were already exhausted from using all their strength just to keep themselves steady. 

The people in the lobby were, of course, not all ordinary. Some were businessmen locally and internationally. Even though these businessmen themselves were arrogant and prideful, in the face of Leus, they were nothing but ants crawling under his feet. It was that kind of feeling they got. 

It was not a very delightful experience yet they could do nothing about it. They looked at Lexus' back with mixed feelings. It was just too frightening and they could swear that if they were to make a list of terrifying experiences in their life, then this moment is definitely at the top three if not the first.

While they were so scared, a sobbing sound was heard. It was faint in the first place that they were not able to instantly noticed because it was overshadowed by the momentum of Lexus, but now that Lexus pa.s.sed, they can now hear a sobbing. 

This sobbing was silent yet it was clearly heard by them because of the silence. 

"Director..." Yun Xixi sobbed as she weakly called out to October. She hurriedly followed Lexus because if she didn't, she was sure that the man will definitely leave her behind. Her face was a complete mess because of the tear stains on it and her eyes and cheeks were puffy, looking pitifully cute. She did not care what she looked like and she did not care about the various gazes being sent her way. 

One of the front desk who was has a little bit of courage to spare lifted her head and took a quick glance to where the sobbing sound came from. Then, even though her face was puffy and red with tear stains on her face, she still recognized the pet.i.te woman as the secretary of the a.s.sistant Director Park. 

'Why is she looking like that? She also called someone "director." Is it Director Park?' The lady on the front desk wondered. She then turned to look at the man striding with large steps toward the exit then to the woman in his arms. 

Her eyes then widened in surprise as realization hit her. Her mouth hanged open as she stared wide eyed. 

'What happened to our director' She bit her lip as worriedly looked at the dangling stray hair and legs of October. She nudged the other front desk lady next to her. Flinching, the other lady frowned but still looked at the person who nudged her and sent her a questioning look. Just that the lady did not at all spare her a quick glance as she kept on staring at the front door. 

Curious, the other lady followed her gaze and it landed on the man carrying a woman as he carefully climbed into a black car. She also noticed Yun Xixi's figure as she also got into the car. As soon as the doors closed, the car sped away. 

She frowned and was so lost as to what really just happened. Who were they? Who was that lady that man was carrying? Who was that man?

She turned to the lady who nudged her and asked, "Rei, who was that?"

"I...um..." The lady stuttered. She blinked her eyes as she tried to wake up from her shock before turning to look at her friend, "I don't know the man. Just that I saw Secretary Yun following closely behind the man and woman. Also, I head Secretary Yun calling the woman "director." If I am not mistaken, then the woman that that man was carrying was Director Park. It seemed like something bad has happened to her."

"Ah?" The other lady was stunned. After a while, she stuttered as she asked, "are you sure it was Director Park?"

"It looks like it. Secretary Yun won't show such emotions that great aside from her boss which she idolized. Well, I am also a fan of Director Park so I am really worried to and would not like to think that something bad happened to her. Seriously, what happened?" The lady bit her lip in worry as she voiced out her thoughts to her friend. 

After a couple of minutes, a black car stopped in front of the Song Mansion. When the people in the mansion saw the incoming car earlier, they had already informed their madam. And so, when the car pulled up in front of the mansion, Mother Song was already standing their with anxiety and worry clearly written on her face. 

A deep frown was on her face as if the creases in between her brows were enough to trap a fly in it. It was so deep that it was expected to lenave a mark on their. 

Mother Song bit her lip. "Doctor Hw.a.n.g, please help me treat my daughter-in-law." Mother Song said to the Doctor standing beside her. There were also 5 maids and a butler standing not far from them.

"I'll do what I can. Madam. Please rest a.s.sured." Doctor Hw.a.n.g replied with respect. He was the Song family doctor and because of that, he had great respect from the Song family. Even though he was treated no different from a real family with blood ties, he did not took advantage of their name nor got haughty at his achievements. In fact, he had stayed the same and was still respectful toward the masters of the Song family.

As soon as the car stopped in front of the mansion, both Mother Song and Doctor Hw.a.n.g hurried went to the car. As soon as they saw the luxurious cane come out of the opened car followed by a low grunt and a head of black hair with a mix of gray, the two stood rooted on their place as they stared wide eyed at the person that just arrived in their doorsteps.

"Jane, long time no see." Grandpa He greeted with a big bright smile plastered on his eyes. His eyes turned to crescent and wrinkled. Despite him holding a cane, he stood taller than he usually was as he he stood in front of the flabbergasted Madam Song. "I did not expect for you to receive me like this. I am not worthy. See?"

Madam Song was shocked to know that October's grandpa would turn up to their doorsteps without telling them. She cursed under her breath as she was utterly shocked. According to her family. She was really shaken up as she does not know how to break this news to Master He.
