October blankly looked at the pork in front of her and then turned to Lexus. Was he expecting her to eat this?

Lexus felt awkward as he noticed her blank stare. He knew she must have thought he was being stupid. He gritted his teeth and said, "Eat it or I'll have you eat it 'directly'."

October heard him emphasizing the last word. She tilted her head in confusion. What does he mean by that?

Lexus looked at her confused look with her eyes looking so innocent and cute. He just couldn't believe that there was still such a naive woman at this age.

However, this woman can only be like this in front of him and, immediately, a small smile slowly formed on his thin cold lips. This woman is the only one for him. And he'll make sure that he's the only man she'll have in her whole life...for the rest of her life.

"I can eat on my own." October said while turning to the table and reached out to grab her chopsticks.

"Eat. Or I'll have feed you with my own mouth." Lexus said with a blank face.

October pursed her lips and stared hard at him. First, they kissed in front of this many people. Second, he made her sit on his lap. And now he wanted to feed her?

Lexus squinted his eyes as he stared hard at her stubborn face. Her pursed lips and her green eyes that stared only at him, all of it are because of him, all are his alone.

Lexus slowly retracted his hand and opened his mouth to eat the pork but October stopped his hand with hers and hurriedly ate the pork instead. She was desperate and frustrated.

This man just keeps doing what he wants with her! What the heck is his purpose?

"Here. Eat more." Lexus said and saw that the woman on his lap was eating obediently. He was quite pleased with this.

Lexus then grabbed his bowl of rice, got some vegetables and meat, and started feeding the woman on his lap. Seeing how she eagerly ate all of the food he gave, he also started eating himself.

No one knew how time flies in this room for they already forgot the flow of time. a.s.sistant Yu and the others were also stuck at the flow of time created by the harmonic couple in front of them. Seeing such beautiful people were really a bliss and a feast in their eyes.

After the two finished eating their fill, they acted as if it was the most natural thing when they took care of each. October wiped Lexus' mouth with the tissue she got while Lexus also did the same for her and fixing her a little disheveled hair.

a.s.sistant Yu stood behind them and saw their fluid actions. If he didn't know better, he would have thought that this couple were already married for years. It was really an odd thing and a little peculiar too for such compatibility with each other were almost too perfect. Is it because of their coldness? Is it their temperament? Is it about the att.i.tude? No. a.s.sistant Yu immediately shook his head at that thought.

No matter how much a.s.sistant Yu think of it, the more confused he was. Such thing, it can only be understood once you'll find the right one for you. And a.s.sistant Yu was still far from meeting that person.

The waiters and waitresses in the room worked smoothly as they cleared the table silently. After that, a.s.sistant Yu signaled for that thing. Immediately understanding, a waiter quietly got out and went back in with the item right away. a.s.sistant Yu received it and silently placed it on the table. After that, he retreated and stood behind them again.

Lexus already noticed a.s.sistant Yu and swiftly grabbed the item from the table and presented it in front of October. She was stunned in place. She looked at it with slightly wide eyes but went back to normal immediately.

October received the flowers presented to her. She looked at the lilies and carnation in the bouquet. She found that was now fond of these flowers. She felt that there was a very sweet and warm feeling flowing within her.

'So it really was from him.' She thought and, for a split moment, a small smile graced her beautiful face. It was small but it already captivated all of the people's hearts who witnessed it.

Lexus felt his heart beat faster than normal when he saw that alluring smile on her pretty face. It was so beautiful that it outs.h.i.+nes all of the gold and jewels in the world. He really felt more and more captivated with her. He was now more resolute in making her his. He will not let another man s.n.a.t.c.h her away.

While imprinting this image into his memory, Lexus noticed her bare neck. He frowned as he looked at it and asked, "Why didn't wore the necklace I gave you?"

Why isn't she wearing it? Is it that she didn't liked it? Was it too simple? Does she want something more expensive? He can immediately buy a new one.

When October heard his icy cold voice ask her about the necklace, she remembered the blue sapphire necklace. "Yeah, about that. I can't receive it. I want to return it."

Lexus felt a sting shot through his heart right after he heard her words and asked, "You don't like it?"

"..." Not like it? October loved it. Just that, she can't accept such an expensive necklace.

"If you don't like it then just throw it." Lexus coldly asked as he released a very cold atmosphere around him almost suffocating the people inside.

October noticed the pained look in his eyes. She also felt pained around her chest. She frowned in confusion.

"You can't throw it out." She refuted.

"You don't liked it so throw it away." He said while turning his head sideways, glaring at the windows while pursing his lips.

October noticed this and felt that something was wrong. "I liked it. But..."

"But what?" Lexus asked, a little apprehensive. But she loved someone else? Is that why she can't accept that necklace?

"I don't deserve it." October replied weakly as she lowered her gaze.

"Why?" Lexus asked as he looked at her who had a sad frown on her face. "You love someone else?" Asking such question was already enough for Lexus to feel sadness enveloping his body.

He was angry to the point of going mad and his sadness at seeing her pained expression was enough to let him know that...he will support her if she loved someone else. He knew he was being ridiculous, mad even.

Lexus thought that he can have everything that he wanted. But he thought wrong. He looked at her so hard, printing every detail of her in his mind, just silently staring at her.
