October and Lexus went directly inside the supermarket to buy some groceries. Although Lexus said that they should leave it to their maids or butlers, his wife still insisted on buying the ingredients herself. He looked at her curiously but just let her do the things she wanted to do and accompany her anywhere she wanted to go.

Seeing her being active and enthusiastic like this, he will accompany her till she's tired of doing it. Why does it feel like today seemed brighter and full of life? Then his eyes landed on the woman before him and his eyes gave off warmth that he didn't notice it himself.

With a cold but soothing atmosphere thr two gave off with every sweet interactiom they have, the people who was also in the market can't help but stop and stare at the couple. They were both an eye candy to their eyes.

Who could they be? They dressed plainly but one could tell that the ones they were wearing were all of the highest quality. Also, the way they carry themselves shows their innate cold elegance. If the couple thinks that they were trying to not standout in a crowd, unfortunately it didn't work at all for their beauty itself sas enough to stirr their hearts.

October looked at the vegetables in front of her in deep contemplation. She reached out her hands to pick some and neatly placed it on the cart beside her. After that, she moved on the other green leafy vegetables.

Lexus looked at the various vegetables on the cart he was pus.h.i.+ng. For him, they don't look different from the other. He wanted to randomly pick some and so he did. It looked good to him.

October, with bell peppers on both hands, turned to look at the cart unconsciously but when she did, she felt her lips twitched.

Before her eyes, she saw Lexus nonchalantly and randomly picked vegetables one after another without even checking it. What's more, he just tossed it however he liked. "What are you doing?"

Lexus paused with his hands in midair and looked at October who was frowning at him. Raising his elegant brow, he replied, "Picking vegetables."

October looked at him blankly. This man really was raised with a golden spoon on his mouth. He looked like a cute naive young master strolling in the market.

Lexus was just looking at her silently without thinking that he made a mistake. October shook her head and sighed, "Put those vegetables back on the rack."

"Why?"

"Because I don't need it." October indifferently replied as she turned her attention back on the bell peppers on her hand before nodding her head as she put both in the cart.

Lexus sent her an inquisitive eyes. October folded her arms over her chest amd confidently said, "I'm cooking our meal for lunch."

October was not used to be served by someone else anymore. The moment she was chased out of that house, she learned how to do ch.o.r.es and cook food for herself. She also uses her clothes repeatedly for it wasn't really necessary to buy new ones. She have lived her life in frugality.

Lexus' eyes glowed intensely and smirked. So his wife can cook too? He really picked the rarest and beautiful gem in this world.

"Okay." Lexus immediately put back all of the vegetables into it's respective racks. Just thinking that he will be able to eat his wife's cooking, he was immensely excited and delighted.

October frowned at the sight of his rushness at how he tossed it back. Pursing her lips, she coldly said with squinting eyes, "Don't toss the vegetables like that. Don't you know that it will get bruises from your tossing and may rot immediately."

Lexus stopped and thought that she was right. And so, he now clamly and gently placed the vegetables back.

The people on the side watched in awe. Expecially so as their eyes glimmed in adoration while looking at the cold uet stunning woman scolding the devilish man who was exuding a really menacing aura to the point of making them s.h.i.+ver in fear. However, at this moment, he was being docile and obedient at the presence of the woman.

It was really a sight to behold. Who are they really?

October noticed the peculiar gazes the people around was giving them. It was almost the same as earlier but considering that this is the market, people in here are mostly normal. They were giving them glances as they walked and some paused to look at them.

October really wondered why they were doing this. She then turned to Lexus who just finished doing his 'work' and then looked at her with doting eyes. Her hesrt immediately fluttered and a slight blush crept on her prestine face.

"My wife, it's not good to look at me with that kind of facd." A dark glim past Lexus' face with a voicr full of teasing. He really was being serious. If she won't stop, he would really pounce on her and eat her here right now.

October's face blushed furiously as she glared at the smug look on Lexus' face. She turned and walked fast to get away from him. Lexus just laughed, satisfied at the reaction he got from her.

The people smiled as they took in their intimate actions and nodded in understanding. So they were a newly wedded couple. Young people these days really are not afraid to show their love for each other in public.

The people shoom their heads with a smile and continued to finish their own errands.

Somewhere at City A, a luxurious black car stopped in front of a majestic and tall gates of the ma.s.sive mansion that looked almost like a palace. It was a thick steeled gates that weighs tons built with the most advanced mechanisms and numerous CCTVs on different angles and of different type. However, the people inside the black car wasn't at all intimidated in the slightest as they calmly waited for the gates to open for them.

And then, with a single beep, the gates opened automatically. The people behind the screens monitoring the entering car was looking at it with weary and, most of all, curiosity.

They don't remember their masters having any connections with this people. However, their masters let them in and so all they can do was to observe silently and keep a close eye on them.

As soon as the car stopped at the entrance of the huge mansion, the car was opened by the driver and out a man in his 60s with a hat on his head and hands rested on a cane.

The man looked regal and gives off a really great amount of pressure in his surroundings. He look around calmly and thought that the place wasn't bad at all. He can even say that it was on par with his own mansion.

However, that was it. The reall thing was meeting the head of this family.

The old man looked ahead and saw two middle-aged couple standing at the door and behind them stood a number of maids and butlers who were standing at a respectful distance with their heads slightly bowed.

If it was like in the anceint times, one might say that this was a kingdom and the couple in front are the rulers of the kingdom.

The old man sized them up and down with his calm yet sharp eyes. With steady footing and back straight, he walked toward them and only stopped a meter away from them.

The woman was looking at him coldly but doesn't give off a really bad vibe. The man, however, was holding the woman possessively. He looked docile and loving everytime he looked at the woman in his arms. But as soon as he looked away, his faced will instantly turn dark and his eyes were cunning, almost as if he was always thinking of how scheme on others.

"Welcome, Master He. What a pleasant surprise for you to visit our humble home." The man spoke light-heartedly as he sized the old man before him.
