The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 84 - 84 Text

With the blinds closed that covered the floor-to-ceiling gla.s.s window unabling the sun's light to fully pa.s.s through, the room was din and just gloomy. The ticking of the clock was the only sound that can be heard in the whole office. Despite that sound, it was almost swallowed by the deafening silence that filled this dimly lit room. As the time pa.s.sed by, the increasing pressure and the dropping of temperature will make one faint and freeze and the dark and sinister presence lurked at the deepest, darkest area of the room.

At the center of this room, glowing blue gems can be seen. It looked beautiful like sapphire diamonds s.h.i.+ning at the tiniest bit of light. However, one would never try to get close to these for they knew that such beautiful things came with a price one wouldn't want to pay unless they were brave to get near to it or they are stupid...just plain stupid.

a.s.sistant Yu swallowed the big lump on his throat and wiped his cold sweat off his good-looking face. He looked at the tightly closed door of his boss' office and he could almost literally see black smoke coming out of the tiny gaps of the door. He couldn't help but s.h.i.+ver more as he adjusted his collar that seemed to tighten around his neck. 

His dark eyes were full of apprehension. His young master was already such a terrifying man before that even though he had spent most of his life serving him, it was not enough to make him get used to it. 

But now?

a.s.sistant Yu wanted to run away and cry with bitter tears. Now, his young master had finally taken interest with a woman and had been so fast as to quickly capture her and made her his wife. Even he did not believe that such a thing was possible until he saw it with his own eyes. His boss was starting to show geniune smiles and soft expressions that could make all popular male celebrities die with envy but all things seemed to have an equal effect. Turns out, his boss could be as equally terrifying and more deadly as the result of a 'small' matter concerning his wife.

Looking at his watch, a.s.sistant Yu's eyes flashed with unease as an hour had already pa.s.sed and it was already time for them to go to the meeting room where the directors are waiting for them to start the meeting...hopefully.

But before a.s.sistant Yu could even take a step to knock of Lexus' office, the door clicked open and out was the devi---ehem...his boss with a black face.

Lexus' every step was heavy and the pressure his gives off to others was getting worse after every step he took. His eyes were dead cold and his lips shut tight with his jaws clenched and even his hair was messy one could tell that he had combed his hands through his hair a number of times just by the look of it. However, a beatiful man is still a beautiful man so no matter how he dressed and how unkempt his hair was, he just looked like an aloof handsome man but with a deadly air.

"Good morning, CEO Song."

As soon as Lexus arrived at the meeting room, all of the directors of different departments stood up in greeting him. All looked exhausted and their faces were full of anxiety but they gritted their teeth and swallowed their complaints. They were men that had a lot of experience in their own fields with their own set of skills they honed in the years they were working in this industry. So, with their back straight, they stood their in attention as they waited for their CEO to first be seated before following suit. 

All directors looked at their dark-faced CEO who looked like he was about to pounce on them and tear them to shreds. Under his piercing gaze that seemed like a dark abyss and the undeniable dark atmosphere enveloping this room, they could tell that their CEO was in a very foul mood. They looked at each other and their look mirrored theirs: eyes full of worry and utter despair.

The Departments of Production, Research and Development, Human Resource, Marketing, Purchasing, and Accounting and Finance all sat stiffly in this suffocating room. Even if this meeting room is quite s.p.a.cious and that there were only 10 people in the room, including the other secretaries of Lexus. 

Silence.

n.o.body dared make a sound and n.o.body dared to move. 

"Start." Lexus' voice was soft but to the people inside the room, it was loud and booming like a clap of thunder tht it made their insides shake.

The Accounting and Financ Department was the first one to stand up and presented his report. It can really be seen how these directors are really professionals and seasoned veterans. In just a short amount of time, they had immediately gathered data and interpret it into the business language. Unfortunately, the one who made them do such tiring work early in the morning doesn't seem to listen to their words and had closed off his hearing.

Bang!

All the people inside flinched and the director of the Purchasing Department almost lost his strength to stand. Unfortunately, he was the one who was giving his report. 

"You're presentation are of just this caliber? Are you taking me for a fool? You old foggies are doing such boring reports that I am losing my interest and just walk out of here! This? You call this presentation?!" Lexus' voice boomed loudly in the room and the doc.u.ments presented to him beforehand was tossed fiercely into the floor and the papers immediately scattered everywhere.

The directors were hurt and got offended. However, this was their CEO and no one can change that. They take pride in their work and would do their best in order to gather necessary information and translate it into something that can help them understand their situation in the business and come up with ways to maintain or innovate ideas that can help improve their company's overall performance. 

Their faces were ghastly white and they couldn't stop in gritting their teeth as they lowered their heads with eyes full of unwillingness to be criticized unjustly like this. To be belittled like this by him was just too much. All have their own pride in their fields yet, at this moment, that pride they have are being stomped mercilessly by their CEO.

a.s.sistant Yu looked at the livid faces of the directors and then to his angry boss. He can feel the tension building up from his boss and his directors. If this continues and his boss will continue to be this unreasonable, then his directors will one day leave him one by one. He cannot let something like that to happen. He can't let things go that way.

With that, he reached out for his phone from his pocket and silently sent a text asking for help. Not long later, he got a reply much to his relief that he almost burst into tears because he finally found a way to hopefully appease his raging young master.

a.s.sistant Yu immediately texted back and then a small 'ding' sounded. He looked on and saw that Lexus reached out for his phone with a deep dark frown on his face as if he was annoyed that someone would text him at this time.
