Evil Husband Is A Little Sweet Chapter 4 - Isn't The Bag From Angelwen?

"Is there a Miss Ni Yuexi here?"

Several pair of eyes turned to the man, who stood at the entrance of the marketing section of Ziaomi

"Yes? I'm the one you are looking for."

Ni Yuexi got up from her desk, as her co-workers watched while she made her way to the man who hadn't introduce himself to them. Her eyes rose in mild curiosity as to what he wanted.

"I'm Xun Yanwu from the office of Chairman Zheng. He asked me to give you this package."

The man in dark suit handed over a big white paper bag with the gold logo of AngelWen, a big name clothing store. The woman looked very puzzled at the supposed messenger from the office of the chairman of Ziaomi, not knowing what to make of the "gift" that was presented to her.

"Excuse? But why?"

"Chairman Zheng felt he owed you a new dress because of the run in he had with you this morning. He also sincerely apologizes for running your suit and told me to tell you to let him know if it doesn't fit right, so that he can have the store give you another size."

"He had a run in with me?! I was the one that wasn't looking at where I was going and ran into him! Why is he doing this?!"

She pointed at her chest while laying emphasis to what she said to the man.

"Here, please accept the kind gesture of Chairman Zheng."

Xun Yanwu had been with the company for over five years working as the secretary to Chairman Zheng, he too thought it very strange for an employer to go out of his way to send his driver to get some clothing for his employee and not just from any clothing store, but AngelWen of all places! If she were his girlfriend then he, Xun Yanwu would understand, but this was just an entry level marketing contract worker and not even a permanent staff of Ziaomi for that matter!

While the young man spoke to Ni Yuexi, his eyes moved from her head all the way to the cheap shoes she had on her feet, within him Xu Yanwu shook his head not knowing what to make of the absurd errand that his boss sent him on. Meanwhile, Ni Yuexi was not making any move to take the package from him.

"What is standing there for?!"

"I wonder too!"

"Isn't the bag from AngelWen?!"

"Oh my gos.h.!.+ AngelWen! I would kill to get one of their clothes!"

"Take the bag from him and ask questions later!"

"But, did the gift bag actually come from the Chairman?!"

"It has to be, I mean who else would shop at AngelWen? Why would he lie that Chairman Zheng sent him?!"

The men and women in the marketing department moved their seat closer to each other, as they watched the scene in front of them unfold.

"I'm sorry, but let Chairman Zheng know that I really appreciate him sending someone to my office to get me a new clothe, but I can't accept it!"

"Ha! Stupid girl! That's AngelWen she's turning down!"

Everyone stared at Ni Yuexi with a baffled expression written on their faces, as she refused the gift from Chairman Zheng!
