The military vehicle ran smoothly on the road, and slowed down when pa.s.sing the Donghua Road.

It rained heavily in City Lin over the past few days. Some streets were flooded. On Donghua Road, the calf-high water wasn't drained yet.

As the car approached the crossroads, Ling Mohan asked the driver to pull over. Then he turned to Qin Shu and ordered, "Stay in the car."

Qin Shu ignored him.

She was filled with anger, thinking about how to recover some lost ground and have Ling Mohan divorce her.

When she came to herself, she saw outside the car that Ling Mohan had made his way to the crossroads, where vehicles were moving in all directions. Some kids on their way home from school were waiting to cross the road.

The driver and Adjutant Li sitting in the front were surprised. No one in City Lin dared to threaten Ling Mohan unless they are tired of living!

They finally realized that the colonel's wife wasn't any obedient woman. Given all her yelling and biting, no wonder she dared to hit his head with a bottle yesterday!

Ling Mohan kept a straight face. He couldn't bear it when Qin Shu acted like a wildcat. He flared up, up, up, but finally gritted his teeth. "Ok, I'll let you go back and pack up!"
