"Look at your son-in-law and compare yourself to him. You're so old already and yet you're not as forgiving as he is. I really don't understand how you've managed to stay afloat in society for the past two decades." Tang Jianjun who had been quiet all these while opened his mouth.

Yang Dingguo would never accept it if the others scolded him. However, he never dared to refute when it came to his sister and his brother-in-law.

They enjoyed the delightful dinner together.

"Dear, here, have a piece of meat." Ye Xiong placed a piece of chicken into Yang Xinyi's bowl.

If she were to throw away the chicken meat, her father, mother, uncle, and aunt would definitely suspect something was wrong. Hence, Yang Xinyi gritted her teeth and forced herself to eat the meat.

"Come, have more of them." Ye Xiong ignored Yang Xinyi's gaze filled with murderous intent as he pa.s.sed another piece of chicken to her.

"Dear, am I that kind of person?" Ye Xiong asked in a serious tone. "I'd even poured out my soul and body to put up on this act. If you become h.o.r.n.y and push me down to the ground tonight, won't my innocence be ruined for the rest of my life?"

As Yang Xinyi finished scolding him, she became serious all of a sudden and said, "Let me know how much the gifts were tonight. I'll pay you tomorrow."
