"Honestly, I don't want to have a journey with you anymore," Ye Jiao spat out when they were already near Chen Kingdom Capital City. She didn't know how many times she had thought of strangling this man to death.

Qin Zheng arched his eyebrows. "You're the one who first asked me to have a journey together."

"That's only once!"

"I'm just giving you bonus. Ask for one and you'll get three."

Hearing his words, Ye Jiao was speechless once again. Did he have to make sure that she would be unable to retort every word he said? 

"I'm stopping my journey here. Do whatever you want."

"I want to know what's your plan," Qin Zheng replied.

Ye Jiao glared. "Don't you have anything to do? You don't have to pester me to no end like this!"

Qin Zheng just smiled and didn't reply. His true destination was Cao Kingdom, but Chen Kingdom was located in the middle between the two kingdoms. He chose to tag along with this little girl because it would be convenient. Besides, he was not in a hurry as he was still busy digesting the Eon Energy that he took from the island. He wouldn't be able to travel so fast, so he chose to have the journey with her.

"I'm going to meet with someone," Ye Jiao waved her hand and walked to the direction of her old home. She ignored the young man who followed behind her as she immersed herself in her plan.

If she had to be honest, she didn't really have much thought regarding her plan for the Wei Family. All she wanted was to make sure that they paid for what they had done to her before. It was just, she was not totally sure how it should be done.

Tak! Tak! Tak!

The sound of wood hitting wood entered her eyes as she got closer. It didn't take long for her to see Wei Liao, who was training crazily with a wooden sword and a tree before him. He was only wearing his pants because it was hot, so Ye Jiao could see the young man's well-toned body.

'I guess, he's not the son of a general's family for nothing,' Ye Jiao thought to herself before stopping not far from Wei Liao.

"Wei Liao."

"Ah? Master?" Wei Liao quickly stopped his action and bowed down politely.

Ye Jiao rolled her eyes at the sudden polite gesture. She was not someone who paid much heed to something like this as it was unnecessary. "How's the progress of forming your core?"

"It's much faster than before," Wei Liao smiled brightly. There was no trace of despondence that plagued his mind anymore. Even though he had to start over, it was also a good chance for him to make a better foundation. 

"Your talent before is B, so it should be A now," Ye Jiao nodded her head in satisfaction. The result far surpa.s.sed her expectation.

"It's good."

Qin Zheng arched his eyebrows when he noticed the way they talked to one another. Even though Wei Liao respected Ye Jiao a lot and called her as his master, they didn't seem to have that kind of relations.h.i.+p going by how casual they talked to one another.

"You have a strong foundation, so you can actually just force the Eon Energy into your body. After all, you have formed your core before," Qin Zheng suddenly b.u.t.ted in.

Ye Jiao frowned. "What do you mean?"

"It's like this. He already has the strong vessel to hold Eon Energy inside his body. All that lack is just the Eon Energy inside his body. Since he only lost his core right after forming it, his body is still ready to accept a lot of Eon Energy at the same time," Qin Zheng explained. "Because of that, he can just forcefully fill in his abdomen with Eon Energy before forming his core once again."

"That's possible?"

"In this case, yes."

"You mean there are other cases?"

Qin Zheng looked at Wei Liao for a moment before he nodded solemnly. "This method is only useful to help reaching back to the earliest stage. If you've already reached rank 1 and lost your core, you can't use this method."

"Will there be any drawback?" Ye Jiao asked.

"Only pain and there's possibility that in the future, this might hinder his path," Qin Zheng replied.

"Why?"

"Well, it's a bit complicated, but in short, to be able to reach rank 6, this method might instead hinder his future path and made him take much more time."

Ye Jiao's eyes flickered. Rank 6 was incredibly high and if she was not wrong, Wei Liao's talent in the beginning would prevent him from reaching rank 5. To put it in another words, the greatest rank Wei Liao could possibly achieve in his lifetime was only rank 4.

But since he had lost his core, his talent increased, so he should be able to reach rank 5 if he worked hard enough.

"The drawback didn't affect me that much," Wei Liao said slowly. He furrowed his brows. "However, it's not easy to pull a lot of Eon Energy at once into my abdomen."

"I can help you with that," Qin Zheng flicked a glance to Ye Jiao. "But only if your master agrees to it."

"Are you trying to put me into your debt, Qin Zheng?"

"I'm repaying the cores that you allow me to take in the journey all this time," Qin Zheng smiled.

His words only made her recalled how he took nearly every core from the beast that they defeated. She only got their meat, which was already very abundant in her storage ring. There was no telling when she would be able to finish them all considering their amount even though they were all only beast rank 3 and 2.

Hmm, she should just put the meat from beast rank 2 to a different bracelet and gave them to Wei Liao.

"You will not ask me to pay anything?" Ye Jiao asked suspiciously.

Qin Zheng raised his eyebrows. "Why are you distrusting me so much?"

"Because you can't be trusted."

"How rude."

"That's the truth," Ye Jiao stuck out her tongue. She looked over to Wei Liao. "So, do you want to form your core faster?"

"I…" Wei Liao really wanted to form his core faster, but he didn't want to put Ye Jiao in a difficult position. If by agreeing to it led to Ye Jiao be in Qin Zheng's debt, he would rather pick to not agree at all.

Qin Zheng took out an Eon Energy Pill rank 1. Different from what was common in this place, it looked much purer and filled with Eon Energy to the brim. "I don't need too many items, just this and my own ability to control Eon Energy. The cores that Ye Jiao collected for me all this time are already enough."

"…. I feel that you have cheated me by taking their cores, Qin Zheng."

"I'll repay you with another item later," Qin Zheng looked at Wei Liao. "So, what do you say about it, Brat?"

Brat?

Wei Liao was sure that he was several years older than Qin Zheng. But right now, he was not in the mood to retort at all. All that he wanted was to take the pill and obtain much more Eon Energy for himself.

"I want to."

"Good, sit down here."

As if he was a soldier, Wei Liao directly sat down on the ground. Qin Zheng handed him the pill, which he ate directly. Moving to the young man's back, Qin Zheng started to utilize his Eon Energy.

His Eon Energy entered into Wei Liao's body and directly guide the pill into the young man's abdomen. Right after that, he started to extract the Eon Energy inside the pill into Wei Liao's abdomen. 

Bit by bit, it filled the young man's abdomen with pure Eon Energy.

From the side, Ye Jiao was watching with astonished expression. She couldn't see it directly, but her ability as Eon Energy Master rank 2 allowed her to know what had actually happened. It was so amazing that she couldn't find any words to describe it. This was the first time she knew that it was possible to help others that way.

Time pa.s.sed.

Qin Zheng retracted his Eon Energy and crossed his arm. "It's finished. You just have to adjust into this state and fill a bit more Eon Energy before starting to form your core."

As Wei Liao opened his eyes, his pupil was filled with disbelief. He might haven't formed his core again, but he could sense the amount of Eon Energy inside his abdomen was much more compared to what he had before. It was so full that he knew that it was possible to form a core right here if only he had himself prepared mentally enough.

"T-Thank you very much!"

Bowing to Ye Jiao's direction, he knew that this was only possible because of Ye Jiao. If not, there would be no way Qin Zheng would help a stranger that has no relation whatsoever to him.

He felt really grateful to her.

"Alright, I'll teach you some basic moves for a.s.sa.s.sination. Don't form your core yet and when I return back, we'll head to Wei Family Residence," Ye Jiao instructed.

Wei Liao's eyes flashed when he heard the word 'Wei Family.' He knew that Ye Jiao asked him to not form his core because it would be hard if he had to lose another one and the time taken to reach rank 1 after forming one's core was not short. It would be saver this way.
