The commotion was larger than what Ye Jiao imagined. She didn't know what Qi Huan did, but anything it was, it must be something that alarmed the entire residence. She could just hope that her senior brother was still alright after creating that large ruckus.

Before the guard that managed the prison could finish his words, he felt a pain from his neck. In that short moment, Ye Jiao had killed him and pushed the man into the bush. It would hide him from the view and at the same time, bought her the time she needed to take Lu Wan out.

The building for the prison was large, and it was built as if it was a castle on its own. The way it was built wouldn't make one realize that it was a prison. Ye Jiao slipped into the building and followed the way. Her nose could faintly smell the metallic tang of blood along with some other weird smell. Right now, she was cursing her ability to sense things better because she could clearly feel that her nose was itching.

It smells so bad!

"Yu Shui, are you there?" Ye Jiao asked using her senior brother's second name to make sure the guards didn't suspect her. She didn't want to kill them all as it would raise suspicion, so she had been evading them. If she didn't, this place would have already turned into bloodbath since a long time ago. 

"…here…"

Lu Wan's voice came from the deepest part of the prison. Ye Jiao quickened her pace and arrived before a large room that was protected by metallic bars. Behind the bars, Lu Wan was sitting with his back on the wall, struggling to keep himself awake.

There was barely anything inside the room aside from the bed and also some necessary items they might need. However, Lu Wan was not chained. Probably because they knew that the young boy couldn't even sitting straight. Even now, Lu Wan was sitting on the floor with listless body.

"Hey, Ai Jiao."

"You shouldn't have proposed this plan. You're going to die because of your favorite poison." Ye Jiao took out the prison keys that she took from the guard she killed and opened the door.

Clang!

"Heh, I won't die that easily," Lu Wan said and coughed a bit. His face darkened because the poison flared back once more.

Closing it back, Ye Jiao crouched near Lu Wan. Her Eon Energy flowed from her hand to inspect his condition. Her brows furrowed when she realized that the poisons have spread into his blood and organs. It would be almost impossible to squeeze the poison out like this because it was already in too deep.

Considering Lu Wan's capability, he should be able to find a way to stop the poison from spreading too much. However, there was no trace that Lu Wan tried to stop it. Instead, it was as if Lu Wan was combining the poison that Chen Tian gave him with his own Eon Energy and also poison that he had consumed over the years.

Seeing that, Ye Jiao was speechless. Right now, she truly wanted to know whether her senior brother had a brain or not to attempt something like this in this place. 

Ye Jiao glared at Lu Wan. "Why don't you suppress them?"

"I'm training my poison resistance," Lu Wan replied.

"If you don't do something soon, you're going to die at this rate." Ye Jiao felt like hitting her senior brother. He should have found a better place to train his poison resistance and not in this dirty prison when his own life could be compromised. Truly, he didn't have proper common sense. 

"No way… I'm…umph!"

Before Lu Wan could finish his words, Ye Jiao had forced him to drink the antidote. As Lu Wan nearly didn't have any Eon Energy left, he was basically defenseless in front of her. It didn't take much effort on Ye Jiao's side to make the young man drink the antidote, forcing the liquid down into his throat.

*cough* *cough*

Lu Wan tried to struggle, but Ye Jiao didn't let him as she forced the liquid inside the bottle to enter Lu Wan's body. The antidote would weaken the poison. Even though Lu Wan's condition was already that bad, this would help him.

"Stahp…."

"Drink it, Lu Wan," Ye Jiao's tone was cold.

Lu Wan nearly choked once more when he saw Ye Jiao's cold gaze. When he was shocked, his struggle halted, which granted Ye Jiao the chance to push the liquid down his throat.

"You-!"

"Turn around." Ye Jiao glared at Lu Wan. "You have to circulate the antidote inside your body to make it work."

Lu Wan's face darkened. "I'll be fine…"

Not waiting for Lu Wan to retort again, Ye Jiao turned his body around and placed both of her hands on his back. Eon Energy flowed from her hand to the young man's body as she slowly circulated it inside his body. It was weird to do the circulation in someone else's body and not oneself, but Ye Jiao did it carefully.

She had seen how Qin Zheng did it before, so she was just doing what he had done before. Besides, she did it with Qin Zheng before even though it was just one circulation because Qin Zheng still could fight her back. Come to think about it, how come her senior brother was so different from Qin Zheng?

Even when he was poisoned, Qin Zheng still fought back heavily. Well, it might be also because Lu Wan didn't want to hurt her while Qin Zheng didn't hesitate to kill her if he could back then.

Ye Jiao frowned as she tried to circulate her Eon Energy inside Lu Wan's body. The poisons that Lu Wan had consumed to build resistance was affecting her slowly but surely.
