"Dude, I'm going crazy over here. I just know I am." Xuan Chaya lamented to Xiao Maiguo on his cellphone.

Xiao Maiguo, sitting on the edge of a king-sized bed, blanket draped around his waist, replied. "Calm down. What's going on?"

"I can feel myself falling in love, and I can't stop it. The worse part is that I don't even want to."

"Who are you falling in love with?" Xiao Maiguo asked. Feigning ignorance.

"You know very well, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d."

Xiao Maiguo chuckled in reply.

"Don't laugh. It's not even funny. I catch feelings for someone for the first time and it happens to be a man?"

"Dude, I can't even tell if you're having a gay-panic or a love-panic. Which is it?"

"I don't know. Both?"

"Where is he?"

"He went out. On some stupid date with some other man. The thought of what they might be up to is driving me nuts."

"You have those kind of feelings for him. Why did you let him go out with someone else?"

"What could I do? I told him he was free to date. I didn't know I'd start liking him myself." Xuan Chaya said.

"You know, maybe you don't like him. You're probably confused about your feelings because you feel guilty about faking your relations.h.i.+p and your guilt is causing you to feel things that aren't really there."

"I think he's cute, Xiao Maiguo. I've never thought a guy was cute before."

Xiao Maiguo raised a brow. He didn't know if Xuan Chaya wanted him to encourage or discourage him. "You're right to think he's cute. I mean, I've seen his pictures. He is cute."

"When he laughs, my heart leaps for joy."

Xiao Maiguo rolled his eyes.

Xuan Chaya groaned. "Every word that comes out of his mouth has the power to drastically change my mood. Has that ever happened to you?"

"Maybe you really just care about him as a friend."

"I'm jealous, protective and I even let him use my stuff."

Xiao Maiguo sat straight. "You let him use your stuff? Wow! This is serious."

"That's what I've been trying to tell you."

"What do you plan to do then?"

Xuan Chaya sighed. "I don't know. Maybe I'll just go with the flow and see how it goes."

"Or maybe you could take your time to figure out your feelings first before you say anything to him. You don't want to find out you don't feel anything for him and end up hurting him, right?"

"Right. But I am sure about my feelings."

"Like you were sure about Lily?"

Xuan Chaya kept quiet.

"You thought you liked her. Until you found out you only liked her because she didn't want you. And before you knew it, someone had gotten hurt and it was already too late."

Xuan Chaya sighed. "I knew what I felt for Lily from the start. I just always thought I would always want her."

"But you didn't?"

Xuan Chaya was quiet. "This is different. I know what I'm feeling."

"You called for my advice, didn't you?"

"I did." Xuan Chaya muttered.

"Good." Xiao Maiguo said. "Are you going to take it or not?"

Xuan Chaya was silent for another moment. Releasing a puff of air, he said, "I will."

"Good." Xiao Maiguo commended him.

"I've got to go now, okay?" Xuan Chaya said.

"Okay, bye. But make sure to keep me updated, okay?"

"Okay." Xuan Chaya said, and disconnected the call.

"Can you put that off?" Xiao Maiguo asked, his voice annoyed.

"You ignored me the whole time you were talking on your phone. Why does it matter now?" Ben asked then tapped his cigarette to get rid of the excess ash at the tip.

"Just get rid of it, the smell irritates me." Xiao Maiguo complained.

"Whatever you want." Ben pressed the lit end of the cigarette on the ashtray, then pushed the ashtray aside.

"Thank you." Xiao Maiguo said.

"Who was that you were talking to on the phone?" Ben asked.

"None of your business." Xiao Maiguo snapped at him in response.

Ben moved closer to Xiao Maiguo until he was only a hair's breadth away. He pressed his lips against Xiao Maiguo's shoulder in a pa.s.sionate kiss.

Xiao Maiguo shuddered as he felt a s.h.i.+ver run down his spine. He immediately began to wonder how it was possible that Ben could turn him on as easy as flicking a light switch.

Planting gentle kisses on Xiao Maiguo's back, Ben said. "I thought we talked about this the last time. And we agreed that you would be nicer to me."

Xiao Maiguo tensed up as his body started aching for release. He purred.

Ben ran his hands along Xiao Maiguo's arms. Pressing him into his body, he then ran his hands along his sides. "So, who were you talking to on your phone?"

"Xuan Chaya." Xiao Maiguo replied. His voice barely a whisper.

Satisfied, Ben kissed Xiao Maiguo's neck. Pulling away, he returned to his side of the bed and rested his back against the headboard.

Mildly irritated but hardly minding it, Xiao Maiguo crawled to Ben. Running his hands along Ben's hairy chest, he asked. "You're not really going to turn me on and leave me hanging, are you?"

Ben smiled smugly. Holding Xiao Maiguo's hands, he said, "I just might."

Xiao Maiguo frowned. If there was one thing he was certain of, it was that he wouldn't beg Ben for anything. Pulling away, he said. "If you're not going to have s.e.x with me, then I'd better get going."

Ben immediately pulled Xiao Maiguo into a side hug. "Don't leave."

It was Xiao Maiguo's turn to smile smugly. If he wanted to, he could never find the words to describe how much he loved having so much control after Ben. Not only that, Ben always made him feel wanted. While Yun Peng, on the other hand, made him feel like he was being forced to be in a relations.h.i.+p with him. The difference between both men was clear. Although Ben couldn't tug his heartstrings like Yun Peng could, he could make him feel good about himself. Where one man lacked, the other was well-rounded. "I'll stay if you help me get rid of this." Xiao Maiguo said, pressing Ben's hand against his hardness.

Ben ma.s.saged it gently in response. Causing Xiao Maiguo to moan softly. "I don't mean only for a moment. I want you to spend the night with me."

"I can't. You know I can't." Xiao Maiguo replied, his head and heart far from the conversation.

"I know you can if you want to." Ben released his hardness and ran a finger along Xiao Maiguo's thighs seductively. He had learnt in just a little time about what Xiao Maiguo liked. He never hesitated to any of it.

"I can't," Xiao Maiguo said. His voice almost a whisper. "Yun Peng can't suspect anything."

Ben stopped touching Xiao Maiguo momentarily. Resuming, he returned his hand to his hardon. "Okay. But spend the weekend with me."

Xiao Maiguo shook his head. "Yun Peng doesn't work on weekends. If I'm not home, he won't like it."

Ben pulled away from Xiao Maiguo. This time, he got up from the bed. "Can you not mention that name to me?"

Xiao Maiguo frowned. Confused. Ben had never gotten angry at him before. Or perhaps, he had hidden it a lot better. "What's the matter with you?"

"I just don't want you calling some other man's name when I'm touching you. The next thing you'll do is call his name when I'm making love to you."

Xiao Maiguo frowned. Spats weren't part of what he asked for when he agreed to start seeing Ben. He had enough of those with Yun Peng and didn't want any more of it. Standing up, Xiao Maiguo picked up his underwear. Tucking away his hardon which was starting to get painful, he started dressing to leave.

"What are you doing?" Ben asked. Panic evident in his voice.

"I'm leaving." Xiao Maiguo said. "When you're calmer, you can call me."

"Why do you keep doing this to me?" Ben murmured.

"What exactly am I doing to you? These fights. They shouldn't be happening at all. You know why? Because we're not dating. You and I. We're only having s.e.x. If that's difficult for you to understand, then, maybe we shouldn't do it anymore."

"What did I ever do to you? Why are you nice to everyone but me?"

Xiao Maiguo shook his head. "I don't think you quite understand yet. When you do, I'll talk to  you."

"I love you." Ben said.

Xiao Maiguo glared at Ben. If looks could kill, Ben would die in that instant. "What did you say?"

"I said I am in love with you. As I am. I know you don't want to hear that, but you need to know my feelings. Maybe you would treat me a little better then."

Xiao Maiguo threw his s.h.i.+rt on the ground in a fit of rage. "We have a good thing going. Why do you have to ruin it with this nonsense?"

"So, there isn't any chance you'll choose me?"

Xiao Maiguo shook his head. He picked up his s.h.i.+rt and his remaining clothing items and hurried out of the room.
