A few days had gone by since his eyes were cleared up. In the end, Zhao Fu accepted the fact that he was no a snake, well he couldn't really deny it since it had already happened. A few of his siblings had hatched from their eggs, however they were still in the blurry eyes state. Zhao Fu, on the other hand, had mastered his body. He found that, although his body was small, there were things inside of him that different from humans. He found that his body did have some teeth, however they were sharp teeth. Not only that, but he even had a poison sac in his two small fangs. This showed him that he was a venomous snake rather then a normal one.

Although his mother told him that she would explain everything when all his siblings were awake, she still secretly told him some other stuff. As the eldest of the snakes, he was given quite a bit of attention, however because the mother snake understood Zhao Fu's intelligence she let him figure out most of the things himself.

"My little one, your shedding period isss about to come. Possssssibly tomorrow. Your eyesss are already very blue, ssso don't fret when it happensss, mother will be here." Zhao Fu nodded his head towards his new mother. In the few days he spent time with her, he began to treat her like a real mother. This was probably because he was a snake now and how he looked at other snakes was different then in the past, but he felt the love from his mother. She cared for him and helped him with many things.

The biggest problem he had so far was not related to his body, but about the future for himself. His mother would leave him and his siblings after they cleared their eyes. Since he was a beast tamer in the past, he knew the reason behind this. Although his mother was very caring and doted on him a lot, she could not stay forever or she might begin to eat him and his siblings. Although the mother wouldn't want to, it was just how a snake was. They needed to eat or they might attack their own kind out of hunger.

"Finally, all my littles onesss have hatched. I will leave in a few daysss my little onesss. You will have to fend for yourssself when the time comesss. Each of you will go your own path and live how you want. Just try to be sssafe." After the last egg finally hatched, the mother began to explain some things. All of the other snakes didn't show any emotions to her words, however Zhao Fu did. He was somewhat reluctant to go out into the world and explore. He wasn't a fighter in his past life, so he didn't have much experience.

The mother snake noticed Zhao Fu's saddened eyes and so she rubbed her head onto his. "My eldessst sssnake, I am not leaving yet. We will be together for a little longer, ssso don't be sssad. You will live well in the outssside, you are very ssspecial." The mother nodded her head before focusing on the other snakes.

"So, I will have to depend on myself in the future. This is going to be absolute c.r.a.p. What if I get eaten by a large snake? What if I become someone else's sh*t?" Zhao Fu began to panic. Although he would be safe for the next few days, he was still scared silly.

It was finally time. He was going to shed for the first time. All of his snake siblings were gathering around, however they couldn't really see much. His mother looked from above and nodded her head.

She then wrapped her tail around his head, holding him firmly. A liquid slowly seeped out and began to slide the old skin away, while Zhao Fu wiggled around. The process was annoying, however it was refres.h.i.+ng. His mother had allowed him to drink plenty of water, keeping him hydrated.

"Little one, remember to move ssslowly. Don't go quick and sssquirm everywhere, jussst go ssstraight, I am here to help you. Sss" The mother explained what to do and Zhao Fu followed along. It was shedding nicely and was feeling extremely good. Zhao Fu wa intoxicated because of the feeling.

The mother, who was watching and helping couldn't help but hiss in shock. Her scales were brown and when she shedded she also got new brown skin, however Zhao Fu was different. His previous pinkish brown skin was turning extremely black.

"Ssstrange." Her vertical eyes contracted into slits as she continued to watch. The other little snakes couldn't really see anything, however they stayed in their own places.

While the skin was shedding, Zhao Fu took it slow during two moments. They two places were very important so the skin had to get off them perfectly; the head and the tail. Although the previous skin should be completely off, it was harder to remove it from these two places. The process was almost done. He was just finis.h.i.+ng up his tail skin. The shedded skin was white from underneath and the new skin was very glossy. When the last bit of skin finally got off his tail, Zhao Fu couldn't help but feel something like b.u.t.terflies. It was so refres.h.i.+ng that he couldn't help but make a weird sound. His mother looked at him strangely, which caused Zhao Fu to awkwardly smile.

Zhao Fu was shocked. 'What was this? Why did I begin to hear a voice in my head?' he wasn't able to understand why a monotone voice resounded in his head. He looked at the info that was presented to him and began to silently contemplate.

His last world was filled with things like beasts and cultivation, was this the same thing? He had heard stories of people supposedly gaining remarkable skills that helped them throughout their life. He began to wonder if this was his. Was there cultivation in this world as well?

Now that he shedded, he was able to speak, albeit somewhat. He looked at his mother snake and began to move his mouth.

"M-mother, I have sssome questionsss." It was weird. Whenever he spoke with the letter 's', his tongue would stick out and he would stretch that letter out. It wasn't something he was able to control. Other than sounding weird, it wasn't an uncomfortable feeling, it felt normal.

"My little sssnake, it isss great to hear your tiny voice. I will answer your questionsss, but you will have to leave right after that." The mother looked at Zhao Fu lovingly before declaring. Zhao Fu was dumbfounded. 'Why do I have to leave?'

"Mother, what do you mean leave? Ssss!" he asked with hurry. He thought that he would be able to stay for a little longer, why did he have to leave?

"My little sssnake, you have shedded your ssskin, and ssso I am unable to look after you now. That isss how it works for usss sssnakesss. Once a little one shedsss, he mussst go and begin hisss adventure." The big snake said in a sad tone. Zhao Fu nodded his head. He also knew about this. When he was a beast tamer, he always felt that it was a pity that some animals had to have their offsprings leave right after they were born or after a few days. It was sad, but that was how many animals lived.

"Alright mother, I will leave after a.s.ssking a few questionsss." His eyes became resolute. 'If I am going to leave, then I will survive. I must survive and use this new life well.'

"Yesss, what isss your question. I will only anssswer one, the ressst mussst be up to you." Zhao Fu nodded his head.

"I wanted to know about bloodlinesss! What isss it and how doesss one make them purer. Sss!" Since the weird message in his head talked about bloodline and its purity, he needed to know more about it. It was probably related to how strength works in this new world he arrived in.

The mother looked at Zhao Fu with surprise. She never expected him to know about bloodlines or anything like that. He really was an intelligent snake.

"Ssss! I don't know how you found out about bloodlinesss ssso early, but sssince you know about them let em explain how they work. Thisss world ha.s.ss many creaturesss, the strongesssst being the humansss… " The mother slowly explained some of the basic info that Zhao Fu lacked knowledge on. Snakes were considered low beasts. They were easy to kill and also considered bad luck. Humans ruled the world with their large population and great strenght. Every creature had a bloodline, even humans. Bloodline was the source of power for every creature. However, everyone had different ways to make their bloodlines pure. Snakes ate other animals to purify their blood. After a certain amount of purification, the snakes would shed once more.

Zhao Fu nodded his head and began to understand the power system. Animals each had a bloodline and his was of the common snakes. Although he was different then his siblings and mother, he was still a part of the lower cla.s.ses snakes. Everything in the world had something called blood energy. Once a snake ate another animal, it would absorb that energy and use it to purify its own bloodline. The mother didn't know much else about the bloodline as she was also still a low cla.s.s snake.

"Ssso, the only way to get ssstronger isss by eating othersss?" The mother snake nodded her head with satisfaction. Zhao Fu began to worry for his future. Although he accepted the fact that he was no a snake, he didn't want to go and eat others like a snake. His body may be snake, but his soul was still human.

"Now that you underssstand, you mussst go out. Begin your life and become sssomething great." Zhao Fu began to feel a little reluctant to leave. He was not interested in becoming the strongest. He just wanted to live peacefully. However, he had no choice but to become strong. Snakes had many predators, some even being other snakes. If he wanted to survive in such a cold world, the only way was to become strong.

Zhao Fu rubbed his head once more on his mother's tail before moving away in an 's' shape. He was scared that he might die outside, however he needed to stay alive.

Zhao Fu slithered pa.s.sed the green gra.s.s with a look of sadness.

'Why the h.e.l.l was I reincarnated as a snake? Couldn't you turn me back into a human? Anything other than a reptile would have been great, but no you had to make me into a slither snake!' He couldn't help but curse the G.o.ds for turning him into such a creature. His mother told him he had to survive on his own, and now he was out in the world. He was only a week old, how the h.e.l.l was he going to do anything?

'Sh*t, what the heck was that? I almost c.r.a.pped myself.' Zhao Fu was frightened. He didn't expect to hear a sound so early in his adventure.

'That stupid little sh*t! Why does it keep making sounds. My little heart can't handle this!' He was on the verge of tears. He wanted to quickly escape, but he didn't want to make any noise. Although snakes were quiet in their movements, that didn't mean that the unknown monster would not hear him.

'Forget it, I'm going to see who the h.e.l.l wants to give me a heart attack. I hope I die quickly.' After some hesitation, he quietly slid towards the sound. The gra.s.s was blocking his view so he wasn't able to make out who or what the creature was. The suddenly,

The monster jumped into the air and headed towards Zhao Fu.
