David hummed and sat back speaking, "We will leave after fifteen minutes to meet her parents."

Sky nodded and moved towards the dining table. She stopped Loran and asked in a very low voice, "Loran, Do you still like her or want to give her a chance if she changes for better?"

Loran shook his head. "I don't want a gold digger." Sky got another shock.

"Peter investigated about her. She lied to me about many things." Loran explained after looking at her shocked expression.

"Are you sure?" Sky wanted to confirm. "Cent percent."

Sky patted on his shoulders and sat on the head of the chair towards the left of Jessica who smirked looking at her.

"Why did you do that? Weren't we looking after you well? Wasn't my brother good to you?" Sky asked calmly.

"Why?... Because I hate you." Jessica clenched her fist and banged on the table. Her voice was loud enough to be heard by everyone on the floor which naturally attracted all their attention.

"I just hate how all these people play at your fingertips." then Jessica pointed her fingers towards Jai and Loran, "They! They treat you like treasure even though you guys aren't siblings. Why only you are lucky to grow up with Bartons and live like Harley? I just hate everything about you."

Sky never anybody saying she wasn't sibling of Barton brothers.

"Well, that explains why you did all that. But didn't you expect that it will hurt Loran and your relations.h.i.+p? Was it worth?" Sky was not even the least bit angered by what she said. Her concern was Loran.

Jessica laughed scornfully. "I tried to make him hate you from two months, but you are the G.o.ddess to him."

Sky furrowed her brows hearing to it. "Did you really like him?" Sky asked as she clenched her fist.

"You are funny Sky. Do you know how he spends money on his friends for their food and outing?

I thought he will look after me better than his friends. Do you know how well he looked after me?

He used to get me everything I liked. Take me wherever I wanted to go. All my friends were envious of me." Jessica laughed after finis.h.i.+ng.

Sky slapped her with all her might. Jessica fell on the floor with the chair and cried with her left hand on her cheek.

Sky lifted her chin to make her look at her as her cold tone resonated, "You dared to play with his feelings without knowing completely about me. When you tried to know about my past, you should have asked how I treat people who touch my bottom line."
