Sky ate another meatball and realized she sounded like a tease. She covered her mouth with one hand to eat fast and saw Arlo looking at her.

"I didn't mean it like that... I mean You are warm... No No... I mean your... hands are warm." Sky finished and saw Arlo laughing.

Since he said as you are cold, she framed it as you are hot. He understood that but he looked at her if she knew what she said or not but she messed with warm and then clearly said.

Sky stuffed the last meatball and ignored him. Arlo saw her flushed a shade of red due to embarra.s.sment hence he stopped and took the plate from her.

After lunch, she went back to work and finished all the meetings. Before leaving, she received the report about booking.

They had opened for only three months' bookings that were till march end. Weekdays booking was minimum except for holidays time. Weekends were rather full.

Andy and Arlo had received few emails from major clients, shareholders asking for a room on particular dates but she never left any VIP or separate house. So they told them to book by the website or visit the reception area of Harley resort on the required days. if houses were available, they would provide or else return back to the pavilion.

The next day

After work, Sky went to the c.o.x family mansion to try on Mia's dress. Daniel was coaxing his pregnant wife to eat something and Mia was speechlessly looked at their parents.

Sky poked Sam as they went in, "Isn't Mia your copy? You gave me the same look when I asked Peter to go to his fiance."

As soon as Mia saw them, She ran towards them, "Sister Sky! Handsome Sam!"

Sky picked her up. Mia saw a pink box in Sam's hand, "Sister Sky! Is this the dress you sketched for me?"

"Yes! Go with your handsome Sam, he will help you with the dress. I will greet your mom and Dad."

Mia glanced at Sam and spoke to Sky, "Sister Sky! I'm a girl! He is a boy."

Sky was dumbfounded. 'Mia! You are a kid and he is your uncle.'

Sky came back to her senses, "Okay! I will help you. Let me greet your parents first."

Mia looked coldly at her parents in the dining room. "Sister Sky! No need. They are being lovey-dovey. Let's go to my room."

'You are only four and a half years.' Sky didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Sam looked at Sky's face and patted on her back. "She is smarter than you."

Sky glared at Sam's back before asking Mia, "Mia, who taught you this kind of words?"

'If its Sam, I will beat him for sure. Hmph.' Sky thought to herself.

"I learned in school. Few friends were saying their mother and father were lovey-dovey to give them a little brother or little sister."

Mia said as she went down from her arms and went near the coffee table where Sam had kept the box. After hearing to Mia, Sky felt like she was from a different generation. Her childhood never had such incidents.

While pa.s.sing by Sam, she commented, "You were right!"

Sam saw her gloomy look but controlled himself well for not to laugh. Sky helped Mia in her room to change and brought her down.

Mia ran to her parents and stuffed her hands in pockets and twirled a few times happily before saying, "See! What sister Sky got me!"

Daniel and his wife liked it and kissed her on the forehead. "My daughter is a beautiful princess."

Sky waved at Daniel when he looked at her and nodded at his wife as greeting. Mia was running around in the house meeting every maid and butler and saying, 'See! What sister Sky got me!'

Sky sat next to Sam and asked looking at Mia, "Is she always excited like this?"

Sam explained, "She was very envious of me when she got to my birthday clothes which were designed by you. She had asked sister-in-law but didn't get anything other than shop-bought clothes. So she is excited."

"Oh!" Sky turned to Sam, "Why do I feel like you tell her about me and my brothers?" She wanted to ask in the bridal shop but asked now.

"What can I do if she asks to tell about you instead of fairytales while sleeping?" Sam looked back at her and questioned.

Sky was stunned, "So her bedtime stories are about me when you coax her to sleep. Does she like me so much? or are stories about me are boring to make her fall asleep?"

Sam flicked on her head to bring her back from the daze, "She likes you. Don't ask me why! She is just a kid. Once she gets someone new, she won't be attached too much to you."

"Point!" Sky said as she rubbed her head.

Sky left when David's guards arrived because She didn't want Sam to travel back and forth.

On Friday afternoon, All left to City S where the wedding was arranged. Sky suggested going on the high-speed rail which would take only two hours. All ignored her suggestion and went on the road trip.

David was going on Sat.u.r.day hence he stayed back as he planned his vacation with his friends from Sunday.

On the way, Sky and Mia tortured Sam to open the rooftop and enjoyed the wind. Sam slowed down looking at kid and adult kid whose hair was all messed up.

Other cars went ahead when he slowed down. Checking at the time, they would be late to rehearsals and Peter would chide him, He stopped the car.

"That's enough. I don't think you two want to sneeze while one holding basket and other one holding a bouquet."

Sky may take on for few more minutes but Mia was a kid and keeping her warm was necessary. Sky made Mia sit on her lap facing her and wrapped her in the jacket.

"Now she will not feel cold." Sky said as she closed the rooftop.

Sam saw Mia snuggling into a comfortable position on Sky as she hugged. The latter wrapped her arm to keep the little one warm. Sam smiled and drove the car. He caught on time and reached with others. Mia had fallen asleep, Hence she took them to a room in the villa.

Sky knew as Peter booked a villa for them to stay near the church but in fact, it was Arlo's villa with tight security.
