Legacy Of Forgotten Times 96 Meeting With A Bunch Of Crazy People Part 2

"Your forehead is bleeding!" Leslie came over with tissue on her hand and wiped the blood off of Linri's face.

"Thanks." Linri thanked Leslie. Honestly, due to Diego's perversion, Leslie had a nice character. Diego felt that it would be interesting to play a character that acted evil just because she felt like she was supposed to be evil due to the demon inside her. For f.u.c.k's sake Diego why did you have to be so obsessed with demons? First, there was Tory and now Leslie. Of course, every player could create 3 characters in total; 2 students and 1 teacher. Remembering Diego's demon character Linri s.h.i.+vered.

You see Tory became evil due to jealousy and hunger for power, Leslie was a victim of her surroundings but the last one? She was evil just because she was evil at heart.

"Luke, carry Selim inside we are gonna have the meeting promptly." Hayato ordered towards the shadow beside him.

It was then Luke left the shadows and Linri could see his full appearance. Luke was the guy that spoke. He had ice blue eyes and black hair that was down to his shoulders. He had tied his hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a black tracksuit with a white t-s.h.i.+rt under it. His face looked apathetic. Like he wouldn't even bat an eye if the world was destroyed right at this second.

Luke then proceeded to throw Selim on his shoulder and headed for inside. Throughout the whole ordeal, he didn't cast a second glance towards Linri aside from his initial question.

"I guess we should follow them right?" Linri asked Leslie who was standing beside him. She just shrugged her shoulders and followed behind them.

When Linri was following behind them he inspected the house. It was disgusting. There were cracks all over the walls and cobwebs on the corners. It was obvious no one lived here in a long time. He a.s.sumed this was the reason for the lack of lights maybe this house didn't even have any electricity.

Linri saw a faint white light up ahead it was coming from a lamp on top of a table. There was a guy sitting in a chair resting his feet on the table. He had spiky blond hair and purple eyes. One of his eyes was covered by an eye-patch. It was not a design choice though he was really partially blind. His name was Lance and even from meeting him for the first time Linri felt like he was a douche-bag.

Lance lazily glanced towards them.

"What took you so long? I thought you just went to answer the door." He sounded irritated.

No one bothered to answer him which made him more irritated. Wow even among the mercenaries this guy had quite the bad reputation it seems or was it that something happened before he came here so the others were ignoring him now?

After everyone was seated and some first aid was applied to Linri and Selim it was time for the meeting to start.

"Anyway everyone this guy here is our employer. I am sure you have not met before so let me do the introductions for you." Hayato took the lead like a chairman and started to introduce everyone to each other.

"This is Lance. His expertise lies in ranged combat. He is a master sniper and he can control gravity to some sense." Hayato said while pointing towards Lance who responded with nodding his head.

"And this one is Luke. He is a weapons expert. He can use anything from pistols to automatic rifles but that is something he just picked up on the side. His real expertise is with hidden weapons and swords. He can also create any kind of sharp weapon out of thin air so it's kind of a nice party trick." Luke did not show any reaction towards Hayato's words but he raised he frowned upon his last words.

"You already met with Selim and Leslie. No need for introductions for Selim as he is your regular CQC master and you already know he can phase through inorganic matter. Leslie, on the other hand, can boost her strength by transforming into a demon so they are our infiltration expert and field medic respectively." Selim was not content with his introduction while Leslie just waved her hand towards him with a smile.

"Next one is me. I can hack stuff and I think that's enough to describe me."

"Lastly he is our employer, Linri Harclaw also otherwise known as the ghost. About his powers, he can use ice magic." Linri nodded towards the group.

"I thought we had stopped calling me a ghost? Anyway before I start talking about the plan how much has Hayato told you about our heist?" Linri asked towards the group.

"Virtually next to nothing. I think we were supposed to kidnap someone or something?" Leslie answered to Linri. It seems like she was the only relatively normal person in the group.

"Not kidnap but rescue. We are going to break into a secret government facility and rescue one of the test subjects inside. If you are scared to accept this mission you can always walk through the door and leave now." Linri looked at them one by one but they did not leave.

"Good! Okay in order to ease your minds I will start by saying the facility we are about to break in is about to be demolished so we won't face any tight security or face any bi repercussions. I mean yeah we will still be wanted but if Hayato can do his job right they won't even know what we look like and they won't really search for us intensely since they will be a.s.suming we are spies from a foreign country and broke into a useless facility. Anyway here is the plan."
