Hurricane:A Flash Story 27 Rocky Emma's Pov

When Barry and Oliver leave Emily gives me a dirty look. I sigh.

"What's wrong now?"

Emily looks at Caitlin and Caitlin looks back at her.

"I'm going to give you guys some privacy. I do not want to be in another argument today."

When Caitlin leaves the room Emily starts to talk.

"Hurricane what the h.e.l.l was that?"

"What do you mean Emily."

"I mean why in the world would threaten the flash AND the arrow. The point of meeting them was so you gain their trust and work together to find the person who ruined our lives."

"Lily, they would've taken off my mask sooner or later. I needed something to make sure that wouldn't happen. Plus I'm not 100% convinced Barry had nothing to do with dad dying. You have to trust me. You're my second half."

"I trust you. But don't play with fire. Don't underestimate Barry."

I smile.

"I won't. I promise."

I stick out my pinky and Emily laughs. We used to do this when we were kids and it's been our thing since. She grabs my pinky with hers and we laugh when we let go. Then I think of something.

"Lily… how did you know I had powers."

She smiles.

"I've gotten really good at sensing other people's powers. Plus your eye was tinted blue and that kind of gave it away. You need contacts."

"Yeah you're right I do. But like what are your powers."

"Let's go outside. But make sure we are far from civilians"

I grab Emily and take her to a secluded field away from people. She touches her eye and takes out her contact. She turns around to reveal one of her eyes is green.

"You might want to stand back." She says.

I back up a little and observe. She closes her eyes, breaths out, and points her hand to the ground. When she does that the gra.s.s and the flowers start to grow longer until they are vines dancing to Emily's will. My inner nerd sparks out.

"Wicked."

She turns around and I notice her eye is glowing. The glow slowly goes down till the eye is just a regular green.

"Tada. It's not just plants. I can do it with rocks too."

"That's incredible. You can manipulate the molecules inside of a plant and rocks to do whatever you want. I can do the same with water."

Emily looks worried.

"Emma… you can also mimic other people's powers."

I'm shocked. But I think about it. That would explain the super speed. I've been so focused on how to control it I didn't realize what I had.

"Wait. How do you know?"

"Em, it's obvious. I'm not stupid."

"Hold up. How do I get the power though? How long do I have it for?"

"Slow down. We can think about that back at star labs. Let's go back."

"Ok...But Emily. What's your superhero name?"

Emily smiles while she grabs on to me.

"Hey Hurricane, I'm rocky."
