Hurricane:A Flash Story 16 Confused Emma's Pov

Doctor wells and I walked in silence for a bit. I look around at star labs. I used to dream of being a legit scientist. But I wanted to help people and be put in the action. Dr.Wells broke the silence.

"You are an interesting person. You went to Harvard and STILL became a police officer."

" My dad was a police officer. Plus on the field is where all the action is."

"Well I like that your not just a damsel in distress. You saved the flash, and for that I will be forever grateful."

"It was nothing. I just did what I had to do." Just then a sound blares from where we just walked from and we go to check it out.

"There's a robbery at the mall." Cisco says as we enter the room.

"Shouldn't we call the police?" I say looking around as Barry runs out the room.

"Barry's probably already there." Caitlin says looking at her tablet. "All we have to do is sit back and guide Barry."

"But I'm a police officer and I don't feel comfortable sitting back."

"Well you'll get used to it." Says Joe West as he walks in.

"What are you doing here."

"I'm here to talk to you. Barry is doing good and it's probably best if you could see it that way instead of a cops point of view. So why don't we go out in private and talk cop to cop." He says gesturing towards the door. When we get out of the room and out of ear shot he turns to me and says "How are you feeling."

"Confused." He gives me a thoughtful look.

"I understand what you mean."

"NO YOU DON'T. I woke up from a coma less than 48 hours ago and as soon as I woke up I found out there are superheroes and meta humans or whatever you call them and then I get shot and I wake up in the flash's lair. I mean I left star city to escape the arrow and I just come to more vigilantes. I might have not been able to do anything for the arrow but your d.a.m.n straight that I will do something about the flash. Goodbye." I walk out the room in anger and go outside star labs and my headache comes back. But it's worse. I close my eyes in pain and ringing in my ear. I open my eyes and all the water around me is stopped in the air. I look around and I willed the water back to the ground. It worked. I hurried home and closed the door behind me. As soon as I walked up the stairs I here Eddie come in. He looks at me and his eyes look scared and relieved. I go down the stairs and hug him. When I let go he looks at me and asks "Where have you been?" I don't know why but I have a feeling that I need to lie.

"I got black out drunk and lost my phone." He looked at me like he knew I was lying. But instead of confronting me he just said "alright" and sat down. I looked at him in confusion and asked if he wanted to eat anything. Without responding he just looked at me.

"Ok what is wrong."

"Well you are gone more then 24 hours with me calling you nonstop and you expect me to believe you just pa.s.sed out drunk?"

"Yeah because that's what happend. I don't know why you think I'm lying to you but that's what happened."

"Emma you've been my sister since you were fifteen I know when your lying and I just want to know what really happened. If you were with a guy I won't blame you but don't just straight up lie to me like that."

"Eddie I'm telling you the truth."

"No your not! Just tell me what happened ."

"What happened was I got too drunk and pa.s.sed out. I don't know why your pus.h.i.+ng for more."

"Ok. Fine, if you don't want to tell me the truth, I'll just leave."

"Go right ahead." As he walks out he gives me a disappointed look. When he shuts the door I lean against it and start to cry. I cried for awhile and then I went to sleep.
