The audience were gasping because the ones challenging Yun Che and Retsu this time aren't pushovers. There are the most famous young generations of the New Moon City. Those elites are Xiao Luocheng of the Xiao Sect, Lu Zhannan from the Seven Deadly Sword Pavilion, Tie Hunghun of the Iron Spear Clan, Feng Guangyi from Stormy Profound Palace, Yan Ming of the Cloudy Sun Sect, Xuan Yu of the Profound Heart Sect and Xue Ju from the Burning Heaven Clan. At first, these geniuses were too prideful to ally with one another to destroy these two. But under the orders of the sect masters, they can proceed destroying each other the moment those two are dead.

Yun Che's eyes are widen before looking at her with soft gaze. Then, his eyes looked on the so called geniuses beforehand. He didn't recognize them but those names triggered a familiar feeling when he heard them. These names are the real Yun Che's opponents back then. In this timeline, they are geniuses of the sect. The real Yun Che challenge them before and now, the current him get to fight them as well. Now they are True Profound Realm warriors in this timeline, wonder how they fare?

"Commence the third round of the banquet." Qin Wuyou looked at the both of them on stage wis.h.i.+ng both them well in his heart. If situation allows it, he will interfere regardless the heavenly oath.

All of a sudden, an attack arrived on Yun Che and Retsu's side. It wasn't much as they s.h.i.+ft their body to the side avoiding that attack.

"Attack them from a distance, prevent them from getting close." Xiao Luocheng suggested. They a.s.sumed these two are well versed in close hand to hand combat. As long as they keep them at the distance and hara.s.sing them, it won't be long until their weakness is revealed.

One by one, attacks are being used on Retsu and Yun Che. Xiao Luocheng used his whips to attack Yun Che. He just dodges side to side avoiding it. Well, it was pretty annoying having them attack him with no room to breathe. It didn't stop there. The moment he dodges another attack land followed by another. Retsu was having the same problem. Spear arts, sword arts and other profound arts are being used to suppressed them. He knew their plan is to keep hara.s.sing them until they're exhausted to even move. This is the disadvantage of playing the defense side, you have no room at all to attack. But, what they didn't know that those two aren't simpletons to begin with.

An attack suddenly appears beside Yun Che with an explosion. The explosion was quite big and caught him in it. Even if he dodged it but he was caught in the blast radius.

"Hmph, no one can match my precision." The attacker known as Feng Guanyi of the Storm Profound Palace suddenly said. As one of the genius of the New Moon City, he was not going to let some b.u.mpkin outs.h.i.+nes him. The attack he charged just now was enough to harm even a Spirit Profound Realm cultivator.

"You… I am not done yet." Yan Ming shouted from behind but Tie Hengjun ignored him anyway. He just proceed on attacking Yun Che with his spear. Who easily avoids his attack one by one.

Yun Che could see their team's composition. Xiao Luocheng, Feng Guanyi and Yan Ming were providing long range attacks while the other four hara.s.sing him and Retsu.

Retsu was facing the so called 'Cold Blooded' Lu Zhannan. He tried to kill her despite Retsu is a beauty in his eyes. However, he was annoyed when Retsu parried all of his attacks with a throwing knife.

As the battle underneath commences, The sect masters gritted their teeth once more. They don't know how many times they did it already. Despite facing all of these geniuses, they still fair on the arena. Their battle earned a round of amazement by the audience. These two really are battle masters in their generation.

"Luocheng, stop fooling around. Destroy them!!!" Xiao Tiannan suddenly shouted from his seat. Qin Wuyou was prepared to stand up but he was stopped by the elders of the nearby palaces.

"All of you, lets destroy these ants. No more fooling around." His shout causes the disciples to fall back and charged their profound energy.

Retsu and Yun Che appeared next to each other and observe the situation. It's finally time for them to counter attack. This time they didn't dodge or do anything at all.

"DESTROY THEM!!!!" Xiao Luocheng shouted before all of the geniuses release their ultimate attacks towards Yun Che and Retsu.

The explosion created by those attacks created enough shock-wave to cause the city to be in tremor.

"YUN CHE!!!" "BROTHER IN LAW!!!" Cang Yue and Yuanba shouted on top of their lungs seeing the two of them being engulf by the sea of attacks came on them. The audience close their eyes avoiding any shock-wave came from the direction of the arena. Under the combined attack of the geniuses, there's no way for them to survive that.

"Hmph, that shows them to be arrogant with me, Xiao Luocheng." Xiao Luocheng said proudly while beating his chest.

"Oi, I was the one who destroy them. This glory belongs to me." Feng Guanyi shouted from beside him.

"Your glory? What about mine?" The geniuses were bickering with one another to take the credit of destroying Yun Che and Retsu. As the explosion diminish, two figures suddenly emerge unscathed from underneath the explosion observing their immature antics.

"Yare, yare daze. Only a few attacks and they are this arrogant. They didn't even give me a bit of the body experience." Yun Che was rubbing his nose and carrying his katana on his shoulder.

"Young master, these idiots really do full of themselves right?" Retsu said while removing the dust off her robes.

Everyone in the palace went a round of shock again. These two emerge as if those attacks didn't even scratch them. Cang Yue and Yuanba were speechless once more. Those two a far too strong.

"You…you…What did you do?!?" Xiao Luocheng shouted on top of his voice. This is impossible and he couldn't accept this. How could both them came out unscathed from their combined attacks?

"Chee, All right, you had your fun. Now its our turn." Yun Che said while cracking his fingers.

"You dare??!!?" He suddenly draws his whip towards Yun Che again. But, Yun Che immediately drew his katana and deflect the tip of the whip.

"What?" Xiao Luocheng didn't expect his whip was deflected just like that. It took extreme precision to deflect that kind of attack. "Since you use a whip to attack me. It's only fair if I did the same as well right?" Yun Che points the blade horizontally at them and suddenly put his hand on it.

"What is he doing?" The audience asked each other before they are shocked again by his next action. He slides down his hand along the blade and it suddenly coated with a red light before transforming into something they have never seen before.

His blade suddenly transforms into an even longer 6-part segmented blade. Each segment is wider than the one preceding it from the hilt, with 2 pick-like protrusions on the front and back of each segment, with the ones on the front much longer than the ones on the back. The blade has black upper side and white on the lower part.

The audience had shock color their faces but the only thing they could think of was… "What kind of sword is that?" This is the first time they see a sword looked just like this one.

The geniuses were on their guard once more when Yun Che finally drew his Zanpakuto. This is the first time he unleashed this Zanpakuto to the world and it is perfect to counter group battles just like this one.

"Now, try to dodge this. HOWL (ROAR), ZABIMARU (The Snake-tail) !!!!" Yun Che shouted while drawing his blade to the front. What shock the audience again was the segmented blade was extending rapidly towards Xiao Luocheng who was the furthest away from him. The others immediately spread out once they seen its capabilities. Yun Che was able to use that blade as a sword and as a whip at the same time. They didn't expect the sword able to stretch out that long. However, Yun Che immediately control the blade into moving left and right while still being extended. His practice with Zabimaru earning his precision and control over this blade. He surpa.s.sed Renji in terms of number of attacks and control over Zabimaru. His control was perfect when he prevents the tip from hitting the audience.

Yun Che withdrew Zabimaru back to its original form before facing the geniuses once more.

Xuan Yu suddenly turned white when Yun Che s.h.i.+ft his sight to him. Now that everyone is in a state of disarray. They can finally begin their counter attack.

"Where do you think you're going? HOWL, ZABIMARU!!" He immediately launched Zabimaru towards Xuan Yu. He managed to avoid Zabimaru's trajectory but Yun Che immediately steer the blade back to him.

"ARRGHH!!!" Xuan Yu's scream of pain was singing in the palace and Zabimaru's tip slammed behind his back. Yun Che immediately retracts the blade causing Xuan Yu being tossed outside the arena.

As for Retsu, she executed her attack on Xue Ju. Her attacks were so fast that Xue Ju only saw a sliver of her image before she slashed his nerve veins apart in one single motion. She immediately slammed his back with her kido to push him outside of the arena towards the opposite wall.

"You… take this!!!!" Yan Ming immediately fire his fire profound art towards Yun Che and it hit him square on his body before engulfing him entirely.

"Haha, take that you…." He didn't finish his word until…..

*Swish Zabimaru suddenly emerge from the fire and hit him directly on his gut.

"URRRGHH" Yan Ming felt he was. .h.i.t by someone far stronger than him. The blade continued to push him outside the arena hitting the wall. The blade pulled itself back into the raging fire as someone emerged from it.

"Well, that didn't work." Yun Che emerge from the fire holding Zabimaru behind his head. He pushes off the remaining fire from his robe as if they were dust.

"Monsters." Cang Yue murmured under her breath seeing Yun Che and Retsu's performance.

Now, Retsu is facing Lu Zhannan once more. Lu Zhannan executes all of his profound arts to defeat her at all cost. He wanted to let this woman know how cold and heartless is he. Ironically, he faced with someone who is even worst when it comes to that.

"*giggle So you're the one they said cold and heartless? Bloodshed everywhere you go?" Retsu said to him as she faced him one on one. She heard about him with her enhanced senses from the audience about his history. He likes to leave his opponents in a cripple state rather than leaving them entirely.

Lu Zhannan was annoyed. No matter how ruthless or cold blooded he might be, there's always one weakness holding him back. That is speed.

Lu Zhannan couldn't even react when Retsu immediately stabbed his heart with her knife. She didn't go all the way to stab it through. She crippled him enough and wasn't bother to kill him.

Tie Hengjun remained calm and said "I know you are a man with cruel but righteous heart. From the way I see it, you cripple everyone but spared them in the end. I am not foolish enough to challenge you. For that, I concede." He said while cupping his hand towards Yun Che.

Yun Che widen his eyes. Looks like he initially thought wrong. This Tie Hengjun is still the same as he was before.

"Hengjun!!! If you dare concede then I will kill you right now." Feng Guangyi suddenly shouted from behind.

"Then kill me, at least I know my own limits."

"You!!!! Arrrgghh." Feng Guangyi wanted to shoot him with his profound art but Yun Che was faster before him.
