However, Cang Yue took a lot of his time. She was slapped by the paper fan countless of times due to her inability to dodge the strikes. Armament mode was quite easy for them to master as they channeled their will power into their hands and weapons. They could notice that their skin and weapons were s.h.i.+ning by the haki itself. But, Yun Che did warned them that consecutive use of haki could deplete their stamina and making them tired faster. So he had them use haki only if necessary.

From the system, basic Observation just be able to enhanced senses, read intents, detect aura and predict attacks within a small scale range. Intermediate Observation can sense larger areas while advanced can see the future for a limited of time. As for Armament, its basic simply enhanced their bodies to hardening mode and able to touch intangible beings. Intermediate can enhanced weapons while advanced users can generate greater hardening which turns their weapons and body to s.h.i.+ny black jade like color. As for Conqueror's will, basic just injects fear and provocations to opponents. Intermediate can knocked out anyone with weak will power while advanced can attack those with greater will power and force them to submit to fear while still being conscious. But, those with greater will power will not be submitted.

Due to Retsu's keen intellect, she could master Observation Mode and Armament Mode to advanced stage with Yun Che's help. It didn't take her long to dodge all his paper fan strikes as she was used to her instincts back then. However, Yun Che warned her that future predictions are sometimes useless in battle if she reacted too early. If that happens, the opponent can change their attacks and the outcome of the future. So, he did warn the her that predicting might be useful but it's useless when your opponent can change its outcome.

As for her advanced armament mode, it only took her a day to fully mastered them. It was shocking enough she could turn her arm, clothes and weapons to s.h.i.+ny black. Yun Che suddenly heard a voice from his mind. It was none other than Retsu. If she's using this method to talk, then she must have something to talk away from the ears of Little Fairy and Cang Yue.

She achieved advanced stage of it during the day the phoenix dissipates the last of its soul to send us out of the trial zone. As for her observation and armament, she achieved advanced stage in just three days."

Retsu slowly smiled and observed the sky above them. "Sister Jasmine sure is a genius. Right?"

"She sure is, except you and Kon. She's the only one capable of achieving advanced stage in less than a month.

"Kon's an advanced stage haki user?"

"For Busoshoku of course. I am impressed he was able to turn his whole lion body to black. His Kenbunshoku was still in the intermediate stage. Then again, you two were kind of cheated using the system though." He sweat dropped when he remembered how these two trained like crazy to master the haki. Even Kon wasn't being stupid for once.

She slowly smiled and rest her head on his shoulder. "Ara..ara… That's how we were born, young master. It's not like we wanted to. So, Kon has Haoshoku as well?"

"No, last time I checked, the system said he didn't possess enough will power or killing intent to awaken Haoshoku No Haki. Well, basically. She had a smile on her face and said "So, both of them are considered pa.s.sed?"

"Yes, they can help us fighting these beings." With that, Retsu smiled earnestly and rest her head on his shoulder. Little Fairy watched them and had a small smile on her face. But, she could still felt jealous from their action.

She turned her head showing her discomfort and said "You two have been quiet for a while. So, anything we know about this 'being'?"

Yun Che fake cough and regaining his composure. "Right, ehem. Ordinary humans can't command hollows but I think something is controlling them to attack that village. If I am right, we might face an Intermediate greater stage hollow this time."

Retsu cutely tilted her head. "Intermediate stage greater hollow?"

Yun Che slowly explained "From where we come from, we called them 'Adjuchas'."

Little Fairy slowly said "Adjuchas?" This is the first time she heard a different term for these hollows. Last time it was Menos, then Gillians and now Adjuchas?

"Adjuchas are intermediate greater hollow but I don't know their exact cultivation yet. They are hollows who still retain their hideous form but they were able to attain intelligent just like a human. One Adjuchas type hollow can destroy this entire empire if it wants. If I am right, we might face even greater danger this time." Yun Che said while maintaining the seriousness in his eyes. He knew the exact strength of the hollow and his level was more than enough to combat it. However, he must make sure of its level first before engaging it. The reason for his battle is obvious, he wanted to level up but at the same time. He wanted to prevent the birth of a 'Vastolorde'. If those things exist, Profound Sky Continent will fall under chaos by these hollows.

Sensing his seriousness, Retsu holds his hand "Young master, are you sure you want to do this?"

He said and rea.s.sured her. "Yeah, it is a matter of the future of this continent. If this hollow makes a breakthrough in the future, then all h.e.l.l will break lose. I'll be fine."

"Yeah, says someone who pa.s.sed out after a few minutes in that form." He was referring to his black lion form. He didn't even last few minutes last time before pa.s.sing out.

"Korra! I can control it now remember. Can't have you and the ladies take the spotlight from me." He said causing Yun Che to grab his head. This guy's dumb but he can make the situation livelier.

Yun Che followed the reaitsu residue left behind on the phoenix's ruins. Looks like one of the Menos managed to get away before he made his appearance. He detected an unusual reaitsu came from deep in the mountains and instructed Cang Yue to bring her eagle to that area.

The reaitsu was getting stronger as they getting closer to the area and it spooked Cang Yue from her slumber. Due to their mastery of Haki, they can ignore some of the pressure but they could still feel the heaviness of the pressure in that area.

"Looks like we're getting close." They arrived at the mountain area that seems to look like a giant crater. The rocky mountains in that area looks like perfect cover to hide. Both Retsu and Yun Che detected more than one reaitsu came from that area. If they were to gauge, it seems like probably hundreds of hollows gathering here.

"Let's get off here, we're probably…." He didn't even finish his words before a sudden attack came from below them.

"d.a.m.n it!!!" All of them are ejected from the eagle as a giant centipede like hollow suddenly emerged from the ground and trying to bite them. Yun Che immediately draw Zangetsu and fire a sword wave and sliced its mask apart. Gigantic it might be, it was still below Spirit Profound Realm. Cang Yue stored her eagle back into her seal and hitch a ride with Little Fairy. Since she's the only one who couldn't fly yet, she had to do it.

All of a sudden, more than one hollow emerged one after another. Probably they heard the centipede's attack just now. All of them immediately engaged in a war against the hollows once more. After learning haki, Cang Yue and Little Fairy's attack was getting faster and stronger as they can detect intents and hidden signatures now. They were able to coordinate their attacks well. But, Retsu was even faster. She jumped from hollow to hollow slice them apart with her haki and kido coated hand. The coatings transformed her hand into a human blade and she jumped and sliced them apart. As for bigger hollows, she just punched the h.e.l.l out of them as they burst into pieces after one punch. Sometimes, she threw her haki enhanced throwing knives on them which kill them in one shot. Under her usage, haki was obviously overpowered.

Not wanting to lose, Kon transformed into his lion form and started shooting fireb.a.l.l.s from his wings. Yun Che taught him how to infuse haki into his attacks and enhanced its attack powers. All of them basically did the same thing, infused their attacks with haki and the result was devastating. He merely sighs at their antics. All of them basically wanted to test haki and their capabilities. Which is kind of overkill. As someone who was used to them, he just used ordinary methods to combat these low level hollows.

Cang Yue immediately exclaimed "Incredible, I never knew haki was this strong."

Yun Che shot up another sword wave and said "It gets better when you mastered the advanced version in the future. This is just the crème to the crop."

"ROOOARRR" All of a sudden, gillians started appearing on the area they just attacked. Yun Che simply swing his sword and forged a way towards the gilians.

While floating in the sky. He said while pointing at the group of Menos, "Now, why don't you two test it on them?"

Little Fairy and Cang Yue heard him and nod with a smile. They immediately boost their speed pa.s.sed the hollows towards the standing gillians. One of them managed to fire a cero directly at Little Fairy and she immediately deployed her ice s.h.i.+eld at the same time infused it with Haki. She was quite shock as the s.h.i.+eld didn't shatter on impact like before. It didn't even hurt when it hits her.

Cang Yue was even excited. She jumped towards the nearby Menos and execute her sword art against it. Last time, she couldn't even beat an ordinary Menos as the skin was tougher despite being weaker. Even if she managed to beat it. She could only watch as it escaped back into the garganta. Now, her attacks are working and sliced its skin like hot knife through b.u.t.ter. She never expected her weak attacks are working. The same can be said with Little Fairy. Her ice shots penetrate the Menos faster compared to her previous encounter with it. The ice attacks cause the Menos was full of holes until it slowly fell under the continuous attacks of the two maidens. Kon transformed into a streak of light and went through those hollows while shooting off fire b.a.l.l.s all over causing explosion erupted all over the battlefield. Since his body was tougher because of the haki, those hollows have trouble hitting his body.

Since he was able to prolong his transformation, his black lion form swings all over the battefield while shouting "Take that!!! No one can beat the legendary KON-SAMA!!!!"

"Shut up, you look like an idiot shouting off like that." Yun Che said while shooting off more sword wave towards them.

Kon continued to jump from hollow to hollow while smas.h.i.+ng them apart. "Let me have my moment man."

Yun Che sighs and continued shooting off flying getsuga towards the hollows and gillians. Under the continuous attacks of Yun Che, Little Fairy, Cang Yue and Kon, the number of hollows were going down faster than they appear. His experience bar was increasing steadily and almost fill the third half of the bar. Even if it was slow, it was steadily increasing.

"Let's push them back to the center." He was about to push until he felt something unfamiliar.

All of a sudden, ma.s.sive amount of spiritual pressure was slowly weighting all of them. Both Yun Che and Retsu were already immune but Little Fairy as well as Cang Yue seems to have a problem in standing up to it. Kon immediately jumped on his shoulder to avoid the pressure. He didn't cultivate the Absolute Supression skill yet and didn't know to counter these pressures. Both Yun Che and Retsu immediately stood in front them to avoid further damage.

Little Fairy slowly standing up and use Yun Che's arm for support. "What is this pressure, it's like I am facing a powerful expert."

Retsu frowned her beautiful eyes and hold the hilt of her Zanpakuto. "Young master, the pressure. It's getting stronger."

He swings Zangetsu behind his head and slowly smile. "It's here."

Suddenly, multiple tears followed by pressure suddenly opened up in the sky. The tears slowly formed into a giant garganta causing Yun Che and the others immediately keep their guard up. All of a sudden, gillians with different cultivation started walking out of them. There are even second stage gilians appearing in front of them.

"Hmph, you humans are getting brazen this past month. Since you're here. Save me the trouble of hunting you and claim whatever is in that mountain." A creature suddenly walked out of the tear and looking at them with its creepy eyes. All of Yun Che's party have shock in their eyes as they witness the hollow's form in front of them standing above the air.

This hollow was the same size as all of them and even walks just like a human. If he were to describe, this hollow really looks instead of human. Spreading its demon like wings behind its back, it slowly floats in front of them looking as if they were an existence beneath it. The hollow has white humanoid form as well as arms and legs looked like they were armored gauntlets. Its body was covered with white armored skin and has a long white tail behind it covered with red linings all over its body. Its creepy white mask has four blade like horns with a diamond shaped mark in the middle of its forehead. Its eyes' socket covering its yellow eyes and had a skull mouth underneath it. They didn't even forget the hole in the middle of its chest.

Feeling uncomfortable while looking at the hollow, he immediately asked the system. "System, scan the strength of this hollow." Suddenly his eyes widen upon seeing the result given by system. Retsu immediately saw his expression and started to ask him.

Little Fairy slowly stood up and widen her eyes upon this hollow. "What is that thing?"

Cang Yue widens her eyes as well while holding Retsu's arm "Sister YueChan, I don't think I can fight that thing."

"Young master? Anything?" Retsu was pretty much the same, she felt this hollow was a lot stronger than her but she kept a calm mind and asked Yun Che.

Yun Che kept a serious face and said "I don't know about this. Looks like our opponent is stronger than I thought."

"How strong is it?" She asked him again.

"Scan it and see for yourself." Retsu nodded at his response and performed a scan on it. She slowly widens her eyes and immediately hold Yun Che's hand. Both of them got the same notification and it says the same thing.
