After disappearing from the area, Yun Che and the others make their way towards the deeper part of the Blue Wind Empire. However, their battlefield was soon visited by countless of experts coming here to observe the situation. All of them are shock to see the damage caused by their battles and unable to gain anything or any insights from the battle. All they can say was whoever battled here must have surpa.s.sed the level of an Overlord or a Monarch.

"Acchoo!!!" Yun Che started to sneeze unaware that someone was talking behind his back.

"What's wrong, young master? Are you sick?" Retsu asked him with a worried look.

Yun Che shook his head and said "No..no.. Someone probably talked behind my back. Nothing to worry about."

"Do you have a fever?" Without any warning, Retsu pressed her forehead on Yun Che's forehead earning him a shocked look. At the same time, wrapped her tails around him to push him closer.

Yun Che slowly tap her cheek earning her a blush before saying "Probably from feeling cold all of a sudden. Well, our outfit are pretty much revealing."

Retsu slowly lets him go but rest her head on his shoulder. "You're right about that, young master. Why didn't you change?"

"I was hoping to take a shower though. But looks like we won't find any inn or town in the deeper part of the mountains." He didn't plan to change his outfit until he had a shower but the thing is they are still wearing their ragged outfit from their previous battle.

"Speaking of deeper part of the mountain, you said something about we're going to the 'Wasteland of Death'. Where is that young master?" Retsu turned her head and asked him.

Kon suddenly said while sitting on his other shoulder. "That's right. This 'Wasteland of Death' might sound exciting but the word 'death' creeps me out man. Anything about that place?"

"Hmm, Cang Yue might know something. Hey, Cang Yue? Ahh, I forgot, she pa.s.sed out."

Retsu stared at the pa.s.sed out Cang Yue. "Ara, she still pa.s.sed out?" Looks like kissing Yun Che took the toll out of her.

Kon started to poke her face with his plushy hand but still getting no response. He sighs and said "Is kissing Yun Che's cheek really that shocking?"

"Korra, my face isn't that bad. Well, if she still pa.s.sed out then there's nothing we can do except wait for her to wake up."

"Good thing she pa.s.sed out. I am started to get bored." Suddenly, Jasmine started materializing herself from his inner world. Since Cang Yue pa.s.sed out, she had some time to appear back to the real world after staying in there for some time. This time she wears a different outfit compared to her usual fiery red kimono. She wore a short skirt version of the fiery red kimono with black linings to ease her mobility. The kimono was practically the same but this one is a short skirt version until her knees along with her j.a.panese sandals.

The short skirt version basically the outfits he had s.h.i.+rayuki to design and make for Nemu in the future. He decided to dress her the same as her original outfits and had s.h.i.+rayuki and Kuroyuki made them. When Jasmine saw these outfits she wanted to try them for herself result a new style for her.

She stood on top of Minazuki's body and said "Minazuki, it's been a while." Minazuki responded by giving her a happy growl. Then, she slowly turned to the beggar looking Yun Che and Retsu. She sighs and said "And you two looked ravis.h.i.+ng."

"Haha, you seen from the projection within the inner world. We decided to find a water source to take a shower. Until then, we're stuck like this."

"NEE-SAN!!!" Kon with his perverted face suddenly jumped to hug Jasmine but only greeted by the back of her fist straight to his face.

"AAAARRrrrrraaaaaaa....Neeee-saaaaaan!!!!" He bounced a few times towards the edge of Minazuki's body before falling down to the forest below. Yun Che and Retsu sweat dropped seeing his perverted antics. Well, since he can fly. They didn't stop to pick him and let him flew by himself back to them. At least Jasmine's. .h.i.t wasn't that hard to begin with.

"That pervert never learns huh?" Yun Che sighs while Retsu nodded her head. Yun Che was hoping they could find a lake or a waterfall along the way. They really need to shower after all of that.

"So, where is this 'Wasteland of Death'?" Jasmine asked him and she was aware that Kon fell from Minazuki's body.

Yun Che simply replied "I don't know… I am just following the system's direction. It leads straight to the mountain area. Way deeper."

Retsu wondered for a while. "Perhaps the system might have something about it. Young master."

"Let's see." Yun Che started to flick his finger and the interface of the system came up. Like a console from a certain anime. He pressed the b.u.t.ton 'Trivia' on it and started to search on the info he could find about the Wasteland of Death.

"Well.. well… found it. The Wasteland of Death is a land that was left to grow wild. Technically, it's a big forest with almost nine hundred and fifty kilometers long and eight hundred kilometers wide. From afar, the entire wasteland was overrun with dry withered gra.s.s, rocks lined and rugged terrain." He said while reading what is written from the system. He could ask Jasmine to read it herself but she was more on listening rather than reading.

"So, what's so special about this wasteland?" She started to sit next to them.

"Well, countless of profound beasts roam the wasteland, and these profound beasts were mostly wild and ferocious. It is one of the most dangerous areas within Blue Wind Empire.The reason it's called the Wasteland of Death because of a lot of cultivators died there. You can say a lot. So that's why it's called the Wasteland of Death." Yun Che replied her.

"Hmph, that's what happen when you seek something you can't even have it. So I trust you won't go there for the sake of leveling up right?"

"If I found any Emperor Profound Realm Beast, maybe I'll kill some. Retsu might take this chance to find some Sky Profound Realm beast as well. Kon can step up his own game as he almost touches the threshold of Earth Profound Realm." Yun Che simply replied.

Then, he continued "But, actually. I am going there for one whole reason. That is to partic.i.p.ate in another Trial."

"There's another one?" Jasmine turns her head towards him.

"Yeah, the system gave me a mission to go to the Wasteland of Death. So, that's what I am doing right now." Then, he pressed the notification b.u.t.ton and display the next mission given by the system.

"Ahh, the Dragon G.o.d Legacy. This is where the original me did his first deed in the original timeline. But, Since Little Fairy broke through into the Emperor Profound Realm and went back to her sect. That saves me from the trouble." He slowly said in his heart.

"So, what is the trial young master?" Retsu asked him. If this is a new trial. It would be the same as the Phoenix Trial the other day. Jasmine was about to ask but Retsu beat her to it.

He pulls his breath and said "The Dragon G.o.d Legacy."

"The Dragon G.o.d? The phoenix did tell me stories about how the Phoenix, Dragon G.o.d and Golden Crow came to this world along with the Evil G.o.d. Looks like you found his second companion's trial." Jasmine said while remembering the conversation of the Phoenix's soul fragment back then.

"Nah, the system found it for me." If he were to follow the original story. He was supposed to travel here for his training in the original timeline and stumbled upon this trial by mistake after Little Fairy lost her cultivation fighting the two Flood Dragons.

Then, he was struck with realization. "Wait, why are those flood dragons are there in the first place? They're supposed to guard the trial zone in this Wasteland. Why on earth they were there?"

Jasmine turned her head towards them. "The Flood Dragons?"

"Yes, the dragons fighting Little Fairy and Retsu this afternoon which they destroyed them easily."

Jasmine remembers about the fight she watched in the inner world. "What about them?"

"Flood Dragons aren't supposed to go to the human territory. Probably attracted by the reaitsu spike caused by Granz?" Yun Che slowly said as he remembers those two supposed to guard the Dragon G.o.d Trial ruins but since both of them are gone.

He continued "Well, there are a lot of hollows in that place. Even if they went there, Granz would destroy and eat their vitality. Anyway, with those two gone. Looks like we'll have an easier time entering the trial zone." All of sudden, a streak of golden light suddenly appears and land on Minazuki's body. The light suddenly revealed to be Kon in his cub form.

"Nee-san. That mean!! You didn't have to throw me overboard."

"I could do it again if you want." She slowly said while punching her palm with her fist causing Kon to shake with fear.

He immediately transforms back into his plushy form and start kneeling and b.u.mping his head a few times on Minazuki's body. "I am sorry…. I am sorry…. I am sorry."

Yun Che sweat dropped and sighs before lying down looking over the skies above him. Retsu giggled while observing Kon's antic before started to lie down next to him as well and using his arm as a pillow.

Their flight took them to a wide mountain area somewhere in the wasteland. Due to their powerful aura, they scared any profound beast beneath their cultivation. Yun Che fell asleep for a moment as their flight is still long.

"Young master, come look here." Retsu's voice shakes him up from his nap as he and Jasmine came by to see what is she referring about. Both Jasmine and Yun Che widen their eyes as they saw s.h.i.+ning lakes formed on the rocks of the mountain. The rocks were formed underneath the beautiful waterfall came from the top of the mountain but the most attracting thing was there are smokes coming from the waters. It was a beautiful and majestic sight.

Retsu widen her eyes looking at the majestic sight of the waterfall. "Young master, is that an onsen waterfall? So beautiful."

"Onsen?" Jasmine asked him. Looks like she's about to learn a new word again today.

"Natural Hot Springs. Wow, it's been a while since I take a dip in one of those springs. Retsu, let's land here. The trial can wait." An onsen produced by a waterfall was pretty rare indeed.

"Hai" She nodded before instructing Minazuki to land near the rocks above the onsen. Yun Che carried the sleeping Cang Yue with him before placed her near the flatten rock near one of the hot springs. Since the hot springs are segmented, it flows down from lake after lake from the waterfall on the mountain. Even the view is beautiful from one of the onsens above the mountain.

"The water isn't that hot right?" Kon jumped from his shoulder and look at the edge of the rock. Yun Che made a whistle motion with his mouth and crept behind him before give him a small kick.

"Ehhh?!?"

*SPLASH Yun Che's kick wasn't that hard but it made Kon fell into the water below him.

"Korra!!! Are you trying to kill… Fuehhh.." Kon stopped shouting before his face suddenly turned red.

Seeing his weird expression, Yun Che asked him. "Oi, you okay?"

Kon responded while floating on the water. "I don't know why but the water feels really nice."

Yun Che jumped on one of the rocks and started to test the waters by splas.h.i.+ng it on his arm. "Hooo, he's right. The water feels nice. Then, we'll take this spot. You girls can bathe behind that giant rock over there. We'll be here."

"*giggle Hai, let's go sister Jasmine." Retsu pulled a towel from her inventory before placing it on her shoulder.

"Hmm, you two seem to enjoy these hot springs. In the realm of the G.o.ds, it's quite common but none of the people bathe in it." She remembered that she was used to taking baths in hot water all the time but she never bathes herself outside her palace back then.

Yun Che started to splash his arms with the waters. "It's a culture in our world though." He remembered back in his original world. People were going to the onsen all the time and even had bath houses.

"Your world's culture is quite different from here."

"You'll get used to it. Don't worry about this guy. If he peeps, you can toss him a far as you can." Yun Che points at Kon who was floating on the water with a pleasured face. Looks like he really enjoyed the hot spring.

"I am more worried about you instead of him."

Retsu looked at Yun Che while putting her finger on her chin. "But, I won't mind if young master peeps on me."

Retsu immediately discard the ragged hakama and white strap around her waist. Then, she started to undo the straps covering her waist and b.r.e.a.s.t.s.

After undressing themselves, she and Jasmine started to wrapped the towels all around their body before soaked themselves in the hot water.

"Fuuaahhh, this is refres.h.i.+ng. I feel my fatigue is slowly disappearing." Retsu started to undo her braided hair letting it go free. She wanted to take this time to wash herself after a long fight.

"You're right. I never actually thought soak in a hot spring feels this good." Even if she was used to hot baths, she never actually went to a hot spring before and realized that natural springs are better than hot baths.

As for Yun Che, he too discards the ragged hakama before soaking himself with the spring. "Haaaa, this is the life. Kon was right. This feels awesome. System, can you scan what is the properites of this water?"

All of a sudden, Yun Che was shown the holographic projection of his inner world. Everything was there. The divine water lake, his Spirit Force Tree and the manor. Including the small island with the floating paG.o.da was there as well. He admitted that his inner world was way larger than he imagined but too bad its only filled with gra.s.s and rocks instead of trees.

"So this is the inner world editor?"

"I have a lot of SP points so I don't mind. Then, I'll place the hot spring here." He started to navigate the editor and place the hot spring geyser near the manor. Then, he increased the size of the lake comparable to a small lake and place some larger stones in it. Since the geyser is in the middle so the stones can provide cover for his spirits who needed personal s.p.a.ce. He didn't forget to decorate the spring with rocks. "Yes, it's been a while since we take a dip in these waters." Kuroyuki started to splash the water on her arms. She admits that these new water felt really good.

"Onsen…onsen.." Mizu and Kaze started to run around her followed by the phoenix.

Hebi started to smile and said "Looks like this world isn't that plain anymore."

"Thanks to the master of course." Saru continued her statement.

"Then, I'll make sure to 'thank' him later."

Old man Zangetsu was sitting on top of the tree witnessing the changes of the inner world. He smiled as he looked the system core above him. "Umu, looks like this brat has become something interesting."

By his side, Hoyuu was also standing on one of the branch of his Spirit Tree. "Well, doesn't matter if the KING changes this world into complete h.e.l.l, it'll be more fun. It's boring without that flower to annoy anyway. By the way, the KING didn't even summon me anymore. Is the outside world started to get boring?"

"With?" Kon noticed his sudden quiet moment before swim back towards him and sit on one of the rocks next to him.

"*Sigh with my loved one back then." Yun Che spoke using Tenteikura to avoid Jasmine and Retsu listening in on them. The matter of his previous world loved one was kept to himself but sooner or later he had to talk to someone about her. But, he wasn't ready to let Retsu or Jasmine knew about her.

"Loved one? A woman?" Kon said with a dumbfounded face.

"Of course it's a woman you dumba.s.s, but I sacrificed my life to save hers back then. But if she's safe, that's all matters now."

"Heh, she must be a babe for you to love her that much."

"Yes, I wanted to see her again but…."

Then, he spoke "I already had Retsu, Little Fairy, Cang Yue. Maybe possibly Nemu and Jasmine in the future. I won't discard them for the sake of returning back to her. She would do anything to avoid him from making the same mistake as her brother. With that, Jasmine had a small smile. She finally had someone or everyone she could call a family. Right now, the inner world is her home and the spirits are her family.

Unaware to her that Yun Che had been listening all this time, they might be far but his sharingan and Observation Instinct can pick up far away sound and he couldn't help but listening in. He too had a small smile as Jasmine was over her hatred of women. He couldn't do anything for her departed brother but he can protect her in his place. As he said to Kon, these girls are not objects to discard. He'll deal with their troubles as long as he lives. Looks like the journey to his loved ones will take a while.
