After having the most divine meal, a piece of meat wrapped in a thin layer of melted cheese held together by two slices of bread it was to die for, he believed the maid had called it a sandwich.

Soon after completing his meal the maid he had sent to collect his herbs had returned, "Prepare hot water, as hot as you can get it, and follow these instructions when placing these herbs into the water."

"Of course, master, once the bath is prepared I will come to find you is there anything else I can do for you while I'm still here master?" she asked as her face turned a little red as she let her eyes roam on his half-naked body. "No that will be all for now, but thank you for your concern I am pleased with all you have done for me." He said with a charming smile, dismissing her to continue her tasks.

Walking back to the bed, he laid down attempting the meditation technique he had acquired from the system, by the time he started to feel the energy around him the bath must have been prepared because he could hear footsteps coming towards his room once again. He sighed in regret that he had been so close to succeeding in meditation only to have been interrupted at the last moment.

Luckily there was no chance he would miss his bath, the medicine would only last for three hours after the last herb was added, fortunately, the herbs for increasing his physical body at the lower tiers were not expensive. With his current levels, he could tell he was maybe as strong as your average soldier if he only used his body without any abilities. He also knew any trained warrior would be able to kill him in a direct fight he had no training in martial arts or in the ways of the blade.

The soul he had absorbed had given him memories and understandings but between the power difference and the utilization of different forms of energy, he would be unable to use the same abilities. He could, however, understand how most weapons were used and that he would need to practice using them just in case someone got to close and he needed to fend off an attack with his body.

Just as he predicted a maid entered and lead him to a room down the hall filled with steam, walking in there was a very large wooden tub, he could smell the intense medicinal smell coming from the bath. He placed his hand into the water feeling a light sting to the hot water, smiling he removed the leather pants, and climbed into the bath and submerging for a moment before coming up for air.

He leaned his back against the tub and began to relax as he felt the medicine enter his pores and he enjoyed the slight sting in brought to his body. Getting comfortable, he felt a pair of hands on his shoulders pus.h.i.+ng and squeezing his taut muscles he smiled at the pleasurable feeling. Just as he was enjoying the ma.s.sage, he felt another pair of hands moving a soft cloth across his body.

Holding in his laughter at the tickling sensation, he focussed on the ma.s.sage to try and prevent moving too often. Once the maid had finished cleaning his body she began ma.s.saging his legs and feet to which he let out a small moan of pleasure. Between the maids' gentle touch and the stinging pleasure of nouris.h.i.+ng his body it was unfortunate, he would only be able to enjoy this twice a day.

After the medicinal properties had soaked into his body for an hour they started losing potency signaling him that it was time to end this most wonderous experience, standing up he stepped off the deep tub to where a maid began to dry him off with a soft towel, the lighting in the room was soft and gave off a tranquil air leading him to not seeing the blush or smiles of the other maids had as he was being dried off from head to toe.

With a light robe on he walked behind a maid to his room, leading him to a chair facing a mirror with bottles and brushes on the table beside it. She then brushed his long hair and added light scented oils. Moving to the bed he saw the set of clothes he had ordered, the maid got to work redressing him stopping here and there to straighten the clothes until she believed they were perfect.

"What do you think master, is this what you wanted?" she asked a little bit of worry in her eyes

"All of you have been perfect, and yes the clothes are exquisite, thank you and your sister maids for the excellent care you have given me, please schedule a meal for later in the evening with another bath afterward, for now, unless its an emergency have no one disturb me." He told the maid with a bright smile and walked her to his door.

Sitting down on the bed he began his meditation once again, now knowing what it felt like from his first time it was easier to find that energy once again, moving the energy towards him was difficult at first every ounce of will power he had to grasp the energy moving it closer and closer until it touched the gem on his forehead, forming a bridge between him and the energy and it flowed into him he could feel the insurmountable power flooding his veins, unfortunately like a flood it neither stopped or slowed when he felt full and it continued to pour into him, he could feel pain now instead of the might.

"Master Salem cut off the flow of energy!" came the cold voice, " I can't!" he thought back through the pain, "Master Salem give me permission to halt the flow of energy, I can a.s.sist you," the system urged.

"DO IT!" his mind reeled from the excess energy, "Stopping the flow and siphoning a portion of the energy to the systems' power reserves, Master Salem I need you to focus and begin to heal your body and soul with all of that energy, it will help your power rise but it will be painful for now since you went too far, I will reconstruct a new method for you to absorb energy through your crystal."

Feeling a portion of the energy get swept away was a relief but there was still too much in him, he began using the method to nourish and heal his body and soul, every movement of energy was like being bitten by a thousand ants everywhere the energy went his nerves would explode in pain.

After two hours of continuous pain, all the energy he had absorbed had been used with a larger half going to the system, wiping the sweat from his brow he laid down on the bed and slept, waking up to hear the knocking on his door. "Finally, time for another bath." smiling wide as he made his way to the door.
