Fitch charged with an overhead slash. Radley saw this and twisted but there was an immediate horizontal slash that came from the other blade. Radley moved backward to avoid the slash. He smiled. The two blades could actually become problematic. He finally removed his knife. Fitch followed up with a double horizontal slash. Radley made a running slide and tilted his head back to avoid the blades and cut for his s.h.i.+ns, but was met with something really hard. He quickly stood up and made a forwards dive to avoid the incoming blades.

Radley made a quick loosening dance to loosen his muscles. Fitch followed with a flurry of swipes, but Radley avoided it with ease. He saw a small opening and grabbed his arm-holding blade and twisted it behind his back. This was followed by a stab to the side of his leg and a punch to the back of his head. The stab didn't do much damage, but he did fell the punch to the back of his neck. Radley straightened himself and did a shoulder tackle into his back, sending him cras.h.i.+ng into the ground. Fitch quickly tried to recover but Radley was already on top of him where Radley stabbed him three times in the shoulder to punch through the armor. Turned out the armor was quite tough. Fitch did a reverse sweep with his blade while still on the ground. Radley tilted his head back to avoid the incoming blade and stabbed him in his armpit. He finally figured out why he was having so much trouble. The man wore full-body chainmail. He was luckily able to punch through the chainmail and stab pretty deeply. He twisted the knife for good measure. Fitch cried out in pain. Radley removed the blade, stood up and stomped down on his face. The man twisted on the spot to avoid more damage to him, but Radley didn't let up. He stabbed him a few times into the back of his leg just behind the knee. Radley fell upon him and placed his knife to his throat, "Submit, you are a bit quick to knock out, and I rather not do more damage to you."

"Eat s.h.i.+t!"

He secretly tried to angle the blade towards Radley with his working arm. Radley spotted it at the last moment as an energy blast shot from it, missing him barely. The strain of the combined damage and the missed shot tired him out completely, "Man, you fast. I submit." Invo points 55, Zero Diff points received.

The ref raised his hand, "The winner, 'The Loner'."

Paramedics arrived on the scene and started to treat Fitch. Radley moved back to his seat.

The other contestants that sat next to him congratulated him. Radley couldn't care less but gave them a nod and a smile out of courtesy.

He grabbed another Fanta before taking a seat.

The announcer chimed up, "The next match of the day will be, 'The Queen' versus, 'The Black Mamba'!"

Rita and Darnell both stood up and made their way to the ring, both doing cringe-worthy posturing to the ma.s.ses. Radley just couldn't help but look away.

The ref beckoned to both and proclaimed, "Start!"

Rita removed her two pistols and shot a flurry of bullets towards Darnell, who zigzags and doing diving rolls to avoid the bullets, but as soon as he got closer she made more distance between them. Darnell stabbed his sword into the ground creating a fissure along the ground. It caused Rita to panic slightly as she lost her balance for a split second. Darnell used this to his advantage and did an overhead swing to her collar bone. It carved in way deeper than Darnell expected. She looked at the blade buried into her in shock, but she wasn't about to give up. She raised her gun to be point-blank to his face. Darnell shook his head, "Don't. It's just going to end badly for you."

He pushed down harder making the blade go even deeper. This made her vision waver. He twisted around and stabbed into her leg. He twisted again and stabbed into his other leg. She fell to the ground, "Submit and this will end."

"I won't…" She crawled towards her gun. He stabbed her through the leg to hold her in place. She screamed in pain. Radley was starting to dislike this. He placed his weight on her back. She was breathing pretty hard, "I think I can actually see your lungs."

He shoved his hands into the gaping wound and rummaged around for a bit, "You feel nice and warm, I wonder how you will feel below.

A boom of a shout reverberated through the entire Arena, "CUT THAT s.h.i.+T OOUUUUT!!!"

This startled even the ref who interceded, "She's had enough. You win."

He smiled and removed his hand. He raised his bloodied hand high into the sky and the crowd went ballistic.

The shout came from Radley. The Diff system chimed up, "New personal skill learned Sonic Boom. Congratulations.

His blood was boiling at the sight. Yeah, the girl was a bit…much. But she didn't deserve that.

Darnell went further and wiped the blood off on her face. She was long unconscious by then. The paramedics came rus.h.i.+ng out.

With his arms still in the air, he walked back. Radley was waiting for him. Darnell smiled and walked up to him, "Do you remember me now?"

Radley smiled, it was cold and ominous, "Still don't, but I will make you remember me. We are facing each other in the next match. You should have knocked her out when you had the chance. No, you will fight me when I am truly angry. May G.o.d save your soul."

"It's just a show, man. Get over it."

"A show with real repercussions."

Something akin to fear started to develop in Darnell. He had seen Radley in action and noticed he was holding back in his matches. Radley gave him one last smile before walking away.
