The next thing he knew was the blue tiger got sent back cras.h.i.+ng through the trees. This even woke up Blobby from his slumber. Radley grabbed Blobby and the leather he was smoking and dove under a tree. All h.e.l.l broke loose as another much larger creature broke through the under grove and charged the tiger down. It was semi-humanoid in nature, with the face of a deformed deer and the horns of both ram and deer. It was bulky and well-built lumbering through the undergrowth with long extended arms like that of a gorilla. Its skin was rough to the touch but had no hair except for a bit around the horns and antlers. A powerhouse individual. Cacertis, lv.12, highly aggressive nature.

The Deer giant was slow due to its lumbering size but was still faster than most creatures. The blue tiger was barely able to avoid the Deer giant. The tiger's smaller stature and more flamboyant nature allowed it to barely outpace the giant.

The giant finally got a hold of the tiger and crashed it against the tree he was hiding in. This took Radley by surprise as he stumbled and fell. His hand caught on something familiarly soft and squishy. The fight went away from his location as Radley kept doing a grabbing motion with his hand and examining it. He ruffled the ground where his hand landed, "Diff, was that my imagination?"

"Negative, the user really did grab on something soft."

He just couldn't place the sensation. That felt way too familiar and it was bothering him. Another crash hit the tree bringing Radley back to his senses. It made him stumble slightly as he pushed against something. This time he spun around to try and find the source. He was almost certain that he wasn't alone here. He removed his axe and rapidly swung about with the hope that he will hit something, "Diff, is invisibility possible by any creature or human?"

"Negative, camouflage is where the creature or beast can change the pigmentation to the surrounding area, but the basic a.n.a.lysis would still bring the being's stats and location."

This baffled Radley. Was there a piece of technology that could completely hide the user? What was going on? Radley decided to speak up, "I know you are there. Why don't you show yourself?"

Diff went off, "Warning, mind wipe in progress. Deploy countermeasures?"

What!? What the h.e.l.l was going on!? Radley shook his head, "Yes deploy!"

"Commencing…please stand by."

Radley waited, another crash went off on the ground beside the tree but Radley held his composure. After a while, Diff chimed up, "Mindwipe averted."

"The h.e.l.l was that?"

"Not enough information to give an a.s.sessment."

"So, what can you tell me?"

"Mindwipe was done with nano particulates with disrupting signals that would make the neurons in your brain misfire and cause a mild suppressive effect wiping the memory of the past few minutes out."

"Advanced technology?"

"Negative, particulates showed biological properties."

"Bacteria?"

"Too complex to be bacteria. Unique complex structures found within the microorganism, similar to a cell but possess nuclei of a different nature. Possibly falls under the category of eukaryotes."

"Okay, that was way above my pay grade to decipher."

"Simple destruction of the microbes was needed to counter the attack."

"Information I really didn't care for. Let's ignore that for a second and move on to the next phase." How the h.e.l.l was he going to get out of there with his busted arm?

The fighting suddenly seemed to have stopped. Radley hesitantly peaked his head out to see what was going on. The giant seemed to be walking off on its own while the tiger was nowhere to be found. Radley sighed in relief.

He grabbed his stuff and made his way away from the clearing and tried a new tree. There he decided that he wasn't going to make a fire due to the fact that it attracted too much attention. In any case, he still had the Diff system that…Now he wasn't too sure anymore, "Hey Diff, will you wake me up if there is any trouble is brewing?"

"Affirmative."

Right. That at least put his mind at ease about safety. He closed his eyes and used the roll of skin as his cus.h.i.+on and slept till night, by that time his arm was perfectly healed. He tested the swing in his arm and then made a decision. He was going to level up today.

He grabbed his gear and looked around. He knew Diff wouldn't help him finding trouble, so he didn't even bother. The mist had cleared up by then and the amazing bioluminescence was in full swing. He traveled for a bi until he heard the rus.h.i.+ng of water.

This was exactly what he was hoping for. A large source of water. He needed to soften the leather.

He reached the river and scanned the river up and down for any abnormal movements. Other than the strange sound coming from the forest it seemed to be clear. He took the skin and spiked it down with a wooden spike he made quickly. The stream was rather shallow. Radley smiled it was crystal clear as well. So he decided to take a quick dip with the intent of cleaning himself. Radley noticed a gentle mountain goat looking creature approach the water. It was rather large and muscular with a white body. Capra Maximus lv.4, docile nature. He wasn't too sure he would be able to take on something that strong, besides it was docile. Probably had some sort of impressive defense mechanism. Other creatures showed up after a while. It looked like a Kangaroo but with large front claws and a ma.s.sive body with goat horns on it that came from the neck. Lv.2, Patmathola, skittish nature.

Radley decided to go all out right from the get-go. He used his power slam on his legs as well as his enhanced agility. It allowed him to charge faster than the eye could perceive. When he got close he charged his axe with the power slam ability and cleaved right through the beast's neck nearly decapitating it. It was dead before it even hit the ground. 330 Invo points Zero Diff points. Radley was disappointed in himself. He hoped for a bit more. Cleaning these animals were a bit rough. This little incident freaked the Goat out that fled to the forest.
