The Rise Of Annixon Bright 17 The Suicidal Fool

A sudden shock rocked the s.h.i.+p sending Sinah towards Annixon. Annixon himself lost his footing and fell against the wall. He instinctively caught Sinah in his arms, "You okay?"

Sinah blushed brightly and quickly stood back. She shyly nodded. Anastacia popped her head out from behind the curtain, "What the h.e.l.l was that?"

Sinah exclaimed, "Language milady!"

"Ah, shut up. I ain't living with my father anymore."

Annixon gave her an impatient look, as Anastacia smiled mischievously, "I am without a top, my good sir. Whatever shall I do?"

He hid a small stash of clothing during his three day waiting period which he 'procured' from some 'naive' people who forgot them on the clothing lines.

He grabbed a s.h.i.+rt and threw it to her, "We don't have time for this kiddo. Get dressed and fast."

She pouted and quickly put on the s.h.i.+rt, "You're no fun."

"We could be having nice calamari steaks by tonight if everything goes right. That is at least some consolation, right?"

She came out from behind the curtain and twirled, "How do I look?"

Annixon turned to Sinah and asked, "Where did she steal that?"

She was wearing a pair of trousers that the sailors wore.

Anastacia interrupted them, "I didn't steal this. I asked a lady sailor to sell one to me and she happily obliged."

Annixon slapped his own forehead, "A waste of money. Whatever, let's just go."

The three of them ran down the corridors as Anastacia exclaimed, "What is going on exactly, Annixon?!"

"A Kraken."

Sinah stopped dead in her tracks, "We're dead…"

Annixon stopped and turned and threw her over his shoulder, "Don't worry I won't let anything happen to you two, but I need you to get a move on. Pity yourself on the way."

Anastacia laughed, "Sinah, you clearly haven't seen Annixon in action. If someone can kill it, it's him."

They reached the top of the stairs to be greeted by ma.s.sive tentacles whose width is the size of ten men put together.

Annixon s.h.i.+vered looking at them, "Those are nasty."

Detonations went off close to the tentacles. Annixon followed the source and saw a bright red and yellow ball close to the catapults. He ran towards one of the sailors, "Sailor, what are those?"

He pointed towards the b.a.l.l.s, and the sailor replied, "They are called detorbs. They explode with vicious fire magic when hit with enough kinetic force."

Annixon laughed like a mad man, "BAHAHAHAHA!!! THAT IS PERFECT!!!"

The sailor looked at him in disbelief, "I guess the insanity of facing an impossible enemy got too him."

Annixon grabbed the barrel construction, "Help me with this."

Anastacia interjected, "Wouldn't it be a better idea to get some of the males to help."

"Sorry, I need someone to listen to my every command. Both you and Sinah proved yourselves, as for any male they would ask too many questions."

Celty saw them and ran towards them, "Wha' can I do to help?!"

Annixon smiled, "Another one, good. I need enough of those b.a.l.l.s to fill these containers."

"Righ'…wai' wha'!?"

"Do you think you can do it?"

"You're askin a lo'."

He pats her on the head, "I know. Can you do it?"

"You be' you swee' a.r.s.e I ca'."

She ran in the direction of the captain.

"You two, I need rope and a lot of it."

The three of them spread out in all directions to find some rope.

Celty saw the captain at the helm, "Cap'ian, I need som' detorbs."

"We only have a limited supply. What do you need them for?"

"To fil' up three barrels."

The captain caught on quickly, "Without a mean of sufficient kinetic force they won't detonate. You know that."

"Aye, I do Cap'ian, but for som' reason, I kno' it would work."

The captain sighed and closed his eyes, "Fine. You there. Grab a bunch of those b.a.l.l.s and follow little Celty here.", he pointed to a bunch of sailors handling the b.a.l.l.s.

They saluted and started grabbing the b.a.l.l.s.

Annixon tied a rope around himself and connected it to the mast. He connected a much shorter rope to the three interconnected barrels.

Annixon saw Celty coming their way with b.a.l.l.s in hand. She was closely followed by more sailors with b.a.l.l.s in hand. Celty quickly instructed them to place the b.a.l.l.s into the containers.

Annixon already made three small holes with his shorts-word. He ran three black string through them and placed some tar-covered cloth to make the inside more waterproof. He connected them into a singular string. He caoted them with tar as well. On the inside, he connected it to a singular dynamite stick. He only needed enough waterproofing to last long enough. He had also coated them with the tar he stole from the store. He coated some more cloth in tar to ensure more waterproofing could be done. He looked at the three sailors that came with b.a.l.l.s, "Can you guys help me with lifting this b.i.t.c.h?"

Everybody worked together to get in on to the banister of the s.h.i.+p. Annixon breathed in deeply as he hopped onto the banister next to the megbomb.

He took a deep breath. Lit the fuses turned and said, "I will tug on the rope so that you guys can pull me out." Just then smaller tentacles made their way onto the s.h.i.+p.

Annixon grimaced at the sight. He was out of time. He knew the girls were going to protest. So he only made a small two-finger salute and jumped with the megbomb in tow.

Underwater he grabbed the small rope and made large pulls with it to get it aiming right at the creature's mouth. Being underwater was a bit difficult for something like this, but luckily the creature was pretty deep, which begged the question, just how big this thing was.

He was able to guide to its birdlike mouth, where the creature just happened to see him and charged forwards much faster than Annixon antic.i.p.ated. Swallowing him and the bomb.

Annixon did two things. He first cut the rope before being swallowed. It could have pulled the s.h.i.+p down or cause ma.s.sive damage. When he was in the creature's mouth he stabbed with his blade to hold his position.

Back on the surface, the girls looked on in dread. The rope had slacked and not long after a small rumble could be heard.
