Anastacia stared at the well-kempt man. His beard was well looked after and his hair was clean. His attire was strange though.

She hated herself. How could she be so indecent in front of this mesmerizing man? A certain friendliness exuded from his eyes, "The bounty on my head is a thousand dashuns."

Annixon smiled, "Good, that's the same they wanted on me. You well enough to move? You look like you have been put through the wringer, they didn't do anything…indecent to you?"

Anastacia shook her head vigorously, "No, not at all, but sleeping in a room with a dirty floor, well…"

She pointed to her face. They both didn't have any beds.

Annixon went to the wall and swung his fist down into the wall at an angle, cuffs first.

Anastacia shook her head, "Everyone knows you ain't gonna break cuffs like that."

Annixon smiled at her, "Who said anything about breaking the cuffs? All I did was shook the inner workings around a bit."

He removed the pin holding the cuff in place, "Tada! There I went and slipped these primitive cuffs. You hit a primitive padlock in the right area and angle you can slip the pin holding it in place."

He went to the door and shouted, while holding the cuffs out for everyone to see, "Oh barkeep, I need a fresh pair of cuffs! These ones came undone!"

An elven soldier came walking up to the door, "Stand back prisoner!"

"Of course, of course."

He stood back a bit with his hands in the air. The guardsman was furious, "How did you get out…"

An open-palmed thrust went straight for his throat even before he could utter another word.

The man grabbed his neck gasping for air as Annixon grabbed the chains and wrapped it around his throat.

The man tried removing the chains but to no avail. Annixon was a very physical man and the man was rather scrawny in comparison, "Ah, dude. You really should remember to eat your porridge in the morning."

The man soon succ.u.mbed as Anastacia spoke up, "Is he dead?"

This annoyed Annixon slightly, "Oi, he was just doing his job. His only knocked out. I don't just murder someone who didn't deserve it."

He removed the clothes from the unconscious man and put it on himself, "A little tight. Especially around the crotch."

He instinctively pointed to his crotch making Anastacia blush, "Ah my bad. I take it you don't even have experience with a man."

Anastacia pouts, "I am old enough to understand these things. It doesn't faze me the least."

"Uh-huh. You are blus.h.i.+ng so brightly I can see it through the dirt on your face."

This made her blush even more.

Annixon quickly peered around the corner. It was clear. The guardsman left the keys in the door, luckily. He went over to Anastacia's cell and unlocked the door. He proceeded to unlock her cuffs.

He stood there for a second and looked at her blue eyes, and nodded slightly, "A surprisingly pretty little thing you are."

This made her blush even more than she could think possible. He studied her dress and noticed its length, "This won't do."

He grabbed the edge of the skirt and made an attempt to cut it away just to be greeted with a slap to the face.

There was a momentary silence between the two as Annixon finally spoke up, "Your dress is going to slow you down. I only want to make it shorter."

"Shorter my rear end. You just wanted to catch a glimpse of my underwear."

Again, it was followed by a momentary silence, "You do know you are only sixteen, right?"

"So? I am a fully-fledged adult."

Annixon shook his head, "I don't have time for this."

He picked her up and flung her over his shoulder, "We need to get you better attire in any case."

She protested vigorously but to no avail.

A voice sounded off behind them, "Where are you taking that prisoner1?"

Luckily Annixon was wearing a closed helmet that covered his ears as well, "She clocked me good. So I am going to throw her off a balcony."

"Wouldn't that kill her? We need here alive."

"Does she need her legs? I will throw her off the balcony in such a way to break her scrawny legs. By the way, do you have anything hard to drink."

"Why?"

"You see, when this…filth, clocked me she made me waste my drink, and I just barely started on it."

"Haha, yeah. You can have some of mine."

He produced a leather water pouch and gave it to Annixon, "The girl is awfully quiet."

Anastacia spoke up, "It's not like I can stop it. Just get it over with you uncivilized oaf!"

The guardsman laughed as he pa.s.sed them. His helmet was in his hand and Annixon had a clean shot straight for his jawline, knocking him out instantly.

He grabbed the now unconscious man and dragged him into a room. He let down Anastacia at the same time, "Okay you will get into these clothes." He was already busy removing them.

Anastacia was outraged, "I am a lady of stature. I can't get in trousers."

Annixon sighed, "Look, if we use this strategy I have come up with, then we both will make it out pretty much unscathed. Yah dig? Now come on, swallow a bit of your pride for the sake of your own wellbeing."

Anastacia sighed. She just couldn't refute, "Do you mind to at least turnaround?"

"Of course."

He turned around and heard the rustling of clothes. After a while, she spoke up, "Well, how do I look?"

He turned around and rubbed his beard, "Let's hope there are female soldiers in this force. Here, put on this helmet and stick close to me."

Anastacia nodded in agreement.

Annixon opened the door as a bell went off in the distance, "Well s.h.i.+t, so much for the element of surprise. Better move fast. Time to make use of this alcohol."
