He hollowed out one of the rocks to make s.p.a.ce for the heart, he then used clay to compact the heart inside the rock. He placed the rock on the smelter with some clay in place to hold it in position. He then started the pain staking process of grafting the script onto the entirety of the smelter. It took him almost eight hours to accomplish. Everyone else was busy doing their own things during this time. D'verg showed up around lunchtime, "You've been at that a while. Take a break."
Annixon stretched and c.o.c.ked his neck, "I'm done. Boy, was that boring."
"You're kidding?"
He looked at the Smelter.
Annixon stood next to D'verg, "Anybody can use it, but the problem comes with the amount of mana requirement. It pretty hefty, so we will still be using old school methods of heating, afterward you can amp up the temperature by adding your own mana. You should probably get some willing victims to help out with that part. So, let's give it a go."
D'verg nodded and moved to collect the metal. Annixon on the other hand had some sandwiches that was made for him, with some goat milk. They waited for the smelter to heat up as. Annixon added his own mana to amplify the heat inside the smelter. The whole thing glowed red where the script was laid down. After a few minutes in the super-heated smelter D'verg removed a glowing piece of Robium. It worked.
He immediately started to hammer away. This procedure went on for most of the day. By night time D'verg had finished a basic short sword.
Annixon pondered for a bit, "I guess you will be needing to heat it up even when you want to sharpen it."
"Probably, but from the look of things, this material is a dream to work with. I notice no stress cracks or any deformities during the hammering process. This stuff is like clay."
"We will still need to test is stress capabilities."
"Yeah, and you will be the one to put this baby through her paces. I just need to sharpen her and fit in the odds and ends. Do you intend to do that rune crafting thingy of yours?"
"It called scripting. Probably will, but I need a decent core. Probably a bunch of cores."
"You do know I am making your blade, right?"
"Oh, I thought…never mind. Hey, you just made history. The first person to make a Robium blade since ancient times."
"Yeah, all well and fine. No the only problem is the more Robium ore. A lot more."
"You intend to go big?"
"Annixon, we are talking about fifty to one hundred thousand ducats a blade, and there are only two people in existence who knows how to extract the metal, and only one who actually can."
"I am gonna ask you something. Fifty thousand to one hundred thousand ducats is a lot of money. Who would actually have that kind of funds?"
"Royalty, some merchants. Us in the future. If I sell one of these babies we would have enough to finance a full on war. Because war is coming."
"Then shouldn't we sell this blade here?"
"What the h.e.l.l is wrong with you?! This is the first true Robium blade made in two millennia. It should be the honour of the inventor."
"But you made the blade. Shouldn't you keep it?"
"For f.u.c.k sakes! The h.e.l.l is wrong with you?! So many b.l.o.o.d.y question! Take the d.a.m.n thing, you idiot! I am just honoured to be the first to create such a blade. That's good enough for me. Besides I will be creating my very own Robium blacksmithing hammer, but I need the ore. What are we going to do about that?"
"I have a Robium mineable area. I just need man power."
"Why not go to the Baron for that?"
"That would raise too many question. Let's just make the first sellable blade and go to some auction or another."
D'verg gave Annixon a rare smile, "An auction you say? An excellent idea. I could actually arrange for that to happen right here."
"We will need major players who has some serious chit to pull that off."
"Indeed, as I said I can do it, but we will need the help of the Baron for that to happen."
"Then I should be cautious to reveal my hand too soon. I have been meaning to ask. Where is Karuli?"
"Oh, she wanted to learn rune crafting."
"If she wanted to learn that, she should have come to me."
"Well, apparently she is learning that scripting hubbub at that school of yours."
"And I still have to look into the inst.i.tute. Let's call it a night."
"Yeah, okay."
The two of them parted ways as Annixon made his way back to the mansion. The girls were all in the living room enjoying some cupcakes Maania made, "Hey girls…Don't tell me. Maania made cupcakes especially for me and she added chilli peppers to it, just to spite me."
Maania wasn't impressed, "You're a d.i.c.k, and here I thought you might actually have some of our cupcakes. No you are not."

Annixon dropped to the floor, "The humanity! How could you be so cruel?!"
Maania scoffed and turned her head away, "Don't care. You made your bed now you have to sleep in it."
Annixon stood up and made his way towards Maania and grabbed the cupcake she was having, and took a ma.s.sive bite, "Mmm, this is really good."
"Ah!? That was mine. There is plenty on the table over there, you d.i.c.k!"
They all started to laugh as he sat down on the floor, "Naitra, how is that little side project going?"
"We have three hundred units so far. I think it should be enough."
"Excellent, I want you to pa.s.s out one hundred of them for free."
"That doesn't make sense."
"If people want more they have to buy, so only one per person."
"I still think it weird, but fine."
"People need to know about the product first before they will start buying. So we will be selling for about say hundred das."
"Five das? You do know there is a thousand das in a Ducat. Most fire lighting device sells for almost ten Ducats"
"I am well aware, but let me put it this way. Form one hot bush I am able to produce, give or take, eight hundred. Now take one hundred times eight hundred. That's how much we can make from one bushel. 80 ducats, from a replenishable source. In my books that is a major win."
