Therefore, Mu Qing had always been well protected. No one dared to do anything to him.

At the beginning, Mu Qing had been showing hospitality to Yang Muyan. He was always like this – proud inside but friendly outside.

He no longer smiled. Instead, he wore a dominant expression on his face. “Lan Yu, don’t think so highly of yourself. I can marry any woman I want. Why must I marry you?”

Yang Muyan’s face sunk. Her smile disappeared and her eyes turned fierce.

Mu Qing caught her look as he sneered. “See. You can’t take a few sharp words and now you want to kill me, right? Why bother marrying such a volatile woman? I want to enjoy a long lifespan!”

Yang Muyan relaxed her tightly clenched fingers.

She liked Mu Qing and wanted to stay by his side. Her heart fluttered whenever she saw his handsome and sunny face. Even if he was angry at her at this moment, he was still so good looking and full of charisma.

She especially liked it when Mu Qing was dressed in the white gown. He looked so clean and warm. He seemed trustworthy and capable of protecting her. As long as he was around, she believed that she would be able to keep the darkness away.

Yang Muyan detested her own voice, and more so when she had to make her beloved Mu Qing listen to it.

What she said next almost suffocated Mu Qing who was already reeling under the shock.

“Don’t worry. Ji Bo won’t touch me. Any man who touches me will die. I am still a virgin. You don’t need to worry about anything.”

Mu Qing felt that talking with Yang Muyan would certainly make him spit blood.
